Hi for the past 1 week I have been trying to unlock this GS3. went from 4.1.2 to 4.0.4 still nothing, to paying unlockers for sim unlock codes. Nothing seems to help. Not even the Main Menu

[8] Phone Control
[6] Network Lock
Options [3]Perso SHA256 OFF
the Perso part menu dose not exist
network providers here in my country wownt try to unlock ether. Is there any other method to unlock this G3S GT-I9300 Ver.

First i want to apologize if there is a already a thread covering this but i couldnt find it.
Basically i have a galaxy s2 that i bought used and only a vodafone sim seems to work so i went to unlock it got the codes(chainfire app) which work i can lock and unlock to any network but i still cant use my o2 sim even though

Network subset lock [off]
Sp lock [off]
Cp lock [off]
so the phone is still sim locked.
any one have any ideas ?
when i put my o2 sim in and check status it says
Service state ut of service
Mobile network state isconnected
Imei number seems ok

I should note ive tried some official firmware(O2,Voda) and custom ROMs(Darky,Omega)

Network unlock means unlocked to a network and now usable on any network .
Sim lock may mean the same or the fact that the Sim is password protected.

Why its not going to fix your problem .
Double check one correct IMEI and two enter the O2 network settings manually if it is a non O2 phone it may have a CSC not covering O2 .

Why don't you try instead of waiting for a user with a locked phone to read your post it may be a long wait .Or a Google ask may return an answer .

You don't even have to google it or ask here, ask borrow your friends SIM card, better yet from different network operator, and insert it into the phone, you will know

Hello, I bought a Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100 Unlocked/International Version from amazon and got a new SIM card for it. I tried the SIM in another phone and it works perfectly, however, this phone does not seem to recognize it and if I try to make a call I get the message "mobile network not available.
I thought the phone might be locked, but I ran a check and it seems to be fully unlocked. This is what I get:
Network Lock: [OFF]
Network Subset Lock: [OFF]
SP Lock: [OFF]
CP Lock: [OFF]
If I go to phone settings, phone number and network show up as unknown, network type: GPRS, network state: disconnected, service state: out of service, no roaming.
My IMEI seems to be fine, I have a 15 digit number that does not appear to be blacklisted (did an online check). The phone is brand new, in its original box and sealed. I got it 2 days ago so I have not done anything to it, software update is not possible because of failed connection. Model number is GT-I9100, Android version is 2.3.5, Build Number GINGERBREAD.XXKI3.
I tried to find a solution online but all I get is that it might be a hardware problem. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to make the phone work (or something I might be doing wrong), or if I should just go ahead and return it and get a new one. Thanks in advance!
I use a galaxy s3 i747 which previously having a Carrier at n t. After I came to India, I unlocked it on hands without using any unlock codes. I just followed the below steps to unlock it.
Just dial the following keys *#197328640#
Main Menu

I unlocked it successfully and it's working with 2g,3g and 4g lte also on all carriers within India.
Recently at n t has given an update for this model to an upgrade for Android 4.3 jelly bean. I want to know the issues updating my phone to 4.3
Will I be able to update it from at n t servers after unlocking it?
Will my phone get locked once it is updated to 4.3?
Will I be able to update my phone through any other sources?

Hi, Im new to this site and i have went over a few fourms and tried their methods to unlock my phone and none are working.
I am running version 4.1.1 on my tmoblie galaxy note 2 t889 and ive tried using the method I will list below.
Go to your dial screen and enter *#197328640#
Go to UMTS
Go To DEBUG SCREEN
Go to Phone control
Go to Network lock
Go to PERSO SHA256 OFF (waited 30 seconds)
Press back
Repeat the first four steps
Go To NW LOCK NV DATA INITALLIZ(Waited a minute)
Then reboot my phone and put a different sim card in it/
Sorry guys im kind of a noob here but I have rooted my phone and downgraded to 4.1.1 I Have been without a phone for a year and this phone is currently locked. So I went out and bought a MyFamilyMobile sim card and activated it. And everytime I reboot and try to dial 611 it says "Network is not registered. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
