Really need some help with this.
Looked around in the system and found a file that I thought would maybe have some answers.(audio_effects.conf)
Is there any way to reduce the global audio volume level by adding/changing anything in the /system/etc/audio_effects.conf or build.prop
Changed
audio.speaker.voice.
audio.earpiece.voice
audio.earpiece.voice
in build.prop but no change in the output level.
Would prefer build .prop tweaks as the process needs to be repeted for quite a few devices.
Device is a rooted Cortex A8 Generic Android tablet running 4.0.4.
Thank You in advance
Hello to all ,
Im newbie on forum and android too. I was an iPhone user and i forced to buy an Android phone so that was m4 Aqua.
I made somethings which i didnt figure out how to solve. I hope you guys help me.
1. I rooted with tutorial on M4 General forum with flastool64, it was okay.
2.I Removed useless widgets and made my Aqua faster.
So problem is, I flashed two things.
* Loud mode sound boster
*Z5 Premium Graphic enchament.
-Stereo speakers working but so loud and after %70 volume, it stays same until reach %100
No Settings for Z5 Graphics and No Settings for dolby or something like that.
So how can i figure out this ? My model is E2303 8GB Model, Latest stock version Android 5.
Don't flash that Loud mode sound booster, just use the xml one
I think your rom has to be deodexed to get the z5 stuff, you can use one of @yash989 works to get the things you want
And you can reflash only your system using flashtool to remove what you've done wrong
Is there a mod that allows to use ear piece as well as the media speaker?

How exactly do they allow you to? I have them installed but no options to do so?
You want to use both speaker and headset at the same time ?
I saw somewhere that a Custom ROM could do that.
I don't remember whixh one... RR ou DU maybe.
So, has anyone found a way to do this? I found a mod like this for OPO but nothing for OPX. Doesn't sound too impossible
I've found something
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/mod-dual-speaker-soundmod-devices-root-t3735280
Haven't checked, I am on Oreo
I tried it around 3 times but I failed. This dual speaker mod doesn't worked for OPX. I tried it on nougat but never tried it on stock or Oreo rom. Fortunately I shifted to stock rom yesterday and will try it asap and report back.

Because you have to send the listed files to the dev and it will work after he adapts the MOD.
How to Request the MOD (Please Cooperate with me):
In one Post,
Mention your device specs (Name, Model Number, Android and processor - EX: Samsung Galaxy Note 8, SM-N950F, Nougat 7.1.1, Exynos )...
People Please ANDROID VERSION IS VERY IMPORTANT, I can't make TWRP or MAGISK without it...
Compress all of your Mixers inside (system/etc) for Nougat, (system/vendor/etc) for Oreo, any file starting with word *mixer*.xml, name the file with Mixers-(*device model number*)-AndroidVersion (Ex: Mixers-SM-N950F-Oreo) & upload it...
Also, People Please try to name the compressed archive with your device name & android version, because of many requests, mixers are being mixed up and I have to go back to the thread verify which belongs to who, please cooperate...
OK, lately I have been forgetting who requested the MOD, Would you please also write your name in file name, so I could search the thread for you...

Hey guys, I managed to port this to Oreo (working on Lineage OS 15.1). You can adjust the volume of the earpiece by changing the value "<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="105" />" on line 1001. Be sure to backup your mixer_paths.xml and just to be sure, I also limited the max volume in V4A.
Start testing at a low volume, so you don't accidentaly blow up your earpiece
note: I wouldn't change it above 110. Default was 84
Hello,
I dont know how I should capture my problem so I will describe it:
When Im hearing music/watch videos or do anything where a sound gets played on a custom ROM I will be able to here a consistent rustle in the background. Quieter -> more rustle. Louder -> less rustle. When I use headset no rustle at all.
So thats my problem and NO my device is not broken! When I switch my ROM via backup its instantly fine again. I tested CarbonROM and Resurrection ROM when I use the stock 6.0.1 Firmware with root no problem at all.
Could be the problem because of Sonys Clear Audio feature? Should I backup to 6.0.1 again and disable it? What should I try? Help please

Hello,
It's releated with Drm functions and custom soundfx apks and libs that gets to work with DSEEHX, Clear Bass, audio-video encoder-decoders, not directly releated with clear audio. I advice u to use stock MusicFX and Sony stock Sound Enhacement patches shared in Cross platform section
I have xiaomi pocophone F1 Android 9 10.2.2.0 Global
Rooted with Magisk 18 & working TWRP
Which file/s should I to edit to boost my speaker & headset
i have tried pocophone f1 volume booster&audio quality by ronks
but i see no difference
Thank in advance
You need a custom kernel that supports headset and speaker boost, use a kernel manager to increase the volume, works great
