I have a genesis phone (genesis gp353) and i need custom recovery to make backup/restore and flash my mods, this phone don't have any support and i'm a newbie to compile custom recovery by myself (and don't have good pc/internet connection)
In attachments is my stock recovery dumped and recovery.fstab.
I'm not lazy, just newbie: (

Hello I have rooted my S2 successfully and now I'm at the point to remove the infamous pesky warning triangle.
Because there is no working download link for the needed XWKK2 stock kernel I need, I wanted to make it myself, but repacking the zImage is to much for a noob like me. The more I read the more I get lost.
So is there someone who will do it for me?

I used online cwm builder and it was successful but how do I compile the files? help me please.

I am new here and I would like to modify system.img for my phone which is XIAOMI MI A2
i can't really find any way to do that,some posts are too old,and others I understand nothing:silly:
First of all I would like to know if there is any tool available for modifying .img files
I would also appreciate if you guys could explain me how that works,I mean I just unpack and repack the image file and done,I can just flash it with TWRP?

I'm noobie in android development, so i'm confused..
The questions which i want answer to are :
1. What is ik.bin or ik.img file in roms and what does it do ? , how to work on it? ( most important question for now, i can't find anything about it ... )
2. Where can i learn about the kernel, preloader, bootloader, boot.img, md5, etc.. (files included in roms) and how to make & extract these files..? ( Is there a particular online course or books for it?)
3. How does this things work and what are there roles, what impact these files can give to android OS ?
4. if i have to start from scratch where should i begin with and how should i proceed ?
