16GB S3 i9300, Temasek CM11 Rom
I can't get the /data partition to recognize as anything other than 4GB. I've used Mega Wipe, flashed a stock 4.3 rom w Odin, wiped data, formatted data, flashed a pit file in Odin. I don't see any backups, Disk Usage only sees the partition as 4GB. I've done this all many times just to make sure.
My mmcblk0 partition says unmounted and is 7.5GB. Could this be my issue?

Flashing a pit file is a last resort on a total brick, it could have been just legacy data held when you updated from 4.1.
Try the rescue firmware, in general thread, if formatting the internal sd card didn't help.

I tried the 4.3 Korean Rescue Firmware. Still no go. Only 4GB data partition. My phone is made in China, I'm wondering if that is why. It doesn't appear to be fake as it's taken every rom I've ever flashed to it no problem. I wish there was a little partitioning program so I could see if there's extra umounted space there. I just feel like I'm about out of options, I'm not sure what else to try. Maybe the 4.1.2 rescue rom?

I'm dealing with the exact same issue on a SGH-T999. It's a 32GB phone but is only registering 11.95GB. When I look at mmcblk0 it says it's unmounted (see attached screenshot). I've done many of the steps you have and still no dice. Not sure where to go from here. I hope you and I get answers to our problems.

I flashed my phone what seemed like 100 times trying everything everyone told me to do and I gave up. My phone is only 4GB but everything works, oh well! I wasted about 100 hours messing with it and nothing can make this 16GB, or ~11GB anyway. I'm hoping to pick up a bigger SD card when I get back in the states as my 16GB is about full, too.

I finally figured this out and fixed my phone. I know you tried several things. So, let me run past you the solution that worked for me.
I located the appropriate .PIT file for my phone (S3 T999 UVDMD5). Then I flashed the stock rom with root (i.e. root66 ROM) with the PIT file. After I flashed it with the correct PIT file, I got my storage back. Have you tried this?
If you have and it didn't work, it's probably because you didn't have a good or the correct PIT file for your phone. Let me know if you want further direction and I'll do my best to assist.

I know this worked for you but I would use extreme caution here! Flashing pit files is only to be used as a last resort! ( To recover from a hard brick)...
Recommending to flash pit files when (1) Your phone is fully working apart from minor issues is very bad. or (2) When your phone is not hard bricked...It's not just you I see many posts where people just recommend flashing pit files and they don't realize the consequences Flash At Your Own Risk!!

I did flash a pit file a few times that said it was from a 16GB i9300 but that didn't seem to change my NAND partition size. I've pretty much given up, if I have a lot of extra time on my hands in the future, I may try this whole thing again but in the end I was unsuccessful and I'm usually very persistent in troubleshooting phone issues. Thanks for the advice, everyone, though.

OK, so I accidentaly formatted the entire internal SD from within ClockworkMod recovery. Now i tried to reflash the stock ROM with Odin, and the phone just goes into a bootloop. I have a copy of what was on there, including EFS backups (about 8 of them), so I hope i can recover from this.
I read something that said I should do a flash with 'Re-partition' which i am trying now, and it seems to be taking forever. Should i just let it continue? or is there another method i should try to recover from this?

I don't really think this is going to help in this situation. My internal storage is blank, gone, not partitioned. That's why i am getting the bootloop. I need to know how to get my stock partitions back, etc. I will try what is recommended though.

Damn, ok, my appologies. I guess I should've tried this first, worked great. Phone seems OK now. Thanks for taking a minute to point me in the right direction!
So, I've no idea specifically where to start, so I'll just go from the beginning. Earlier today, I flashed a stock firmware for my device (I9300XXDLJ4 from the 'Stock Firmwares' thread) using Mobile Odin Pro successfully. No problems, except for when I forgot to factory reset the first time through.
More recently, I tried to re-flash CF-Root 6.4 to regain root, which didn't work as well as I had hoped, as I am now left with an unmountable /data partition on my internal SD, which means I cannot go any further in the 'factory reset -> restore' route. I have no idea what to do anymore - 30 Google searches later and about 20 separate flashes of firmware hasn't helped and I'm at the end of my tether. I really have no idea what other information to supply, so I guess if you guys have any idea you can let me know.
In addition, although a blank, yet working OS and phone would be better than a paperweight, I would like to keep my internal sd-card intact (or at least the partition with all my stuff on it). I also have a CWM6 back-up on my external sd if that could help me in any way.
So, yeah, whatever you can think would be greatly appreciated please and thank you.
(Long story short - unmountable /data partition on my internal sd means I can't boot/flash any 'proper' OS / it's soft bricked.)
UPDATE: Booted into stock Samsung firmware as above, not sure if it's because it's still got all the stuff from before and I haven't wiped it or it's genuinely fixed. May as well spend another half-hour on Odin to see what I can do.

Mounting the /data partition only worked once I flashed the stock firmware - whether it's because of the recovery or the OS, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm now able to read/write to the /data partiton and I've just booted up my previous CM10 nightly, so... yeah. Hello, I have downloaded and installed the latest Cm11 and for some reason I am not longer able to use my internal sdcard. I can see and use the external sd but not the internal one. I just have the phone with 2Gb for apps and nothing else, unless I put the external sd.
I saw the partition on via parted is a fat32, but can mount nor format it on CWM recovery nor on my PC. At the end of the day I lost 12Gb of memory on my phone. Is there any way to remove and reformat the UMS partition (12Gb) with parted or any other application without having to put the stock ROM back? I also try Aparted application but is not able to see the partition at all.
BTW I would like to have 8Gb for apps and 8 Gb on my internal sd card, but I really do not know how to do it with Odin without bricking my phone. Any guidance on this? I want to keep using CM11 of course but could not find the md5 files to be used with Odin for CM11.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Definitively not. I am trying to find the proper pit files to do it as well as to recover my sdcard space. I trust on this forum, that is why and looking for help here. Frankly, to leave the partitions alone is my first option, however I think that 2Gb for the phone apps is not enough for heavy phone users. Thanks.

I will be reading comments and experiences before going for a different partition, I think is risky, but I would like to try, whether the comments on the thread you have just sent me, are in favor of doing it. Hello there everyone. I'm running the latest shoshock ROM. I recently tried installing a couple large apps but kept getting an error (can't recall which one specifically) until I uninstalled other apps. I googled this problem and on a forum post somewhere it mentioned that the partition space ran out, even though the internal SD still has many gigabytes leftover. I do not run a sesperate SD card. I have around 3gbs of space unused so I want to reallocate some of that space for apps and general OS performance. How do I do this?
I am aware of two people who have actually tried this in their sgh-i777, by following instructions found on the forum for the international version of the Galaxy S2. One person, who was from Italy, said he hard bricked his phone and had to take it to a repair shop for jtag recovery to get it working again. Another person who tried this soft bricked their phone and had to reflash the stock firmware along with the i777 pit file to get the phone to boot again.
While this is theoretically possible, as far as I am aware there is no correct partition table file available to use, and using a partition table file made for the gt-i9100 or some other phone will result in a soft brick, or maybe even a hard brick.

But there were just 1gb available memory for installing apps and the remaining 11 GB were USB storage.
As I didn.t like this I tried to partition flash memory with mini partition tool wizard home(or sth like that I donno the name exactly).
I have partitioned the flash memory as following: 3gb for internal storage(fat32), remaining memory for USB storage and 8mb as ext2( I completed this after a tutorial).
Everything was done ,I applied and then I reboot my tablet. When I entered link2sd said that cannot detect my partition. When I get to storage information I realized that I still had 1gb internal memory, but 445mb USB storage. I was a bit panicked so I tried to wipe data, but didn't work. When I tried to repartition the flash memory with mini part tool , the computer couldn't connect to my tablet storage.
I have lost my internal memory(most of it) and now I want to recover it as it was stock.
Plsssss help me I have root access and I think there is a way to fix with root explorer but I don't no it so hopefully you guys understand my issue and help me.

Are you rooted?
Edit: nvm you are I see.
You have to use an external SD card for link2sd, does not work with internal storage.

Why would you repartition your storage to a windows (fat32) partition? This is a Linux based system running on ext4. You may just have killed that partition without redoing your device from the boot loader up.

OK I know that but is there any solution to recover my internal storage partition?
I used diskinfo and I realized that my partitions exists but they cannot be mounted.

You will need some sort of default rim update with the correct partitions. It will wipe your device if you can find one. Which depends on the device. You. At have corrupted it beyond any repair you can do. Check the oem site as you. Ever stated what device it is.

It is an Allview viva q7 16 GB but it is rebranded after onda 711s(basically they'r same devices). Can I solve it replacing system files with the correct partitions from an official ROM?
I also need to no what files do I have to replace.

OK don't take this the wrong way but you really seem to have no idea what your doing. No you can not fix a partition issue by replacing some system files. You messed the base system up. I would go to the oem site and forums and see if you can find something that will help you. Basically you will have to flash a rom from the boot loader. This should fix your issue. But with it being a minor brand device you may spend a long time finding it but I wish ukulele luck.

Oem stand for original equipment manufacturer. A google search may find it as I have never even heard let alone seen this device.
Now if/when you get it fixed I would advice you to do your proper research before doing something that could leave your device bricked and void your warranty. Age has nothing to do with it. My sons are the same age and know to spend a few hours or even days researching an issue before trying anything. Flashing your device is not an easy, no risk thing to do. It holds many risks as you have found out. I would read up on Linux a bit

I know age has nothing to do ,it was about I didn't no things like I need to reflash device to restore partition. I have great experience with android and flashing Roms as I have plenty of devices. I change Roms weekly tasting their features. Whatever my dad is working in it but he's on windows.
I have found a possible solution to my prblm after few hrs of googling== I found with disk info that I didn't make any partition, their just unmounted. Nows da big question: is it a way to mount them ( I found out that I could merge partition kernel source- or srh like that -)
