I have no idea. The first step is to get a USB OTG adapter and take it from there

Smart dock for xperia s.

Hi guys. One simple question, is there a smart dock for the xperia s. Only heard of the ones for the P and Ion.

Sorry there isn't one.
Expansys sells a Kidigi Cover-Mate cradle. Not so much a smart dock but it will let you charge phone and be able to connect HDMI cable from phone to TV etc at the same time. Have not used it myself thinking about getting it though.
i am still on the one for arc

With a smart dock can you connect a PS3 controller to it and navigate the menus?
I believe I saw it somewhere but I dont remember where !!

I remembered where I had seen it. This guy plays Driver using a PS3 controller connected to the livedock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J92oirwd9BQ&feature=g-vrec&context=G281070fRVAAAAAAAABg
I wonder why there's none for the xperia s. Is the P more of a multi media device than the S.
I don't understand the reasoning behind this at all.

there is a difference between a LIVEDOCK and a SMARTDOCK ...
LIVEDOCK:
it is an universal cradle for all sony devices with an USB- and HDMI-OUT connection ... no matter where they are to find on your handset. (XPERIA S left-side USB and right-side HDMI)
SMARTDOCK:
is an accessory for the XPERIA P ... the reason why it is only for an XPERIA P is, because a XPERIA P have the USB- and HDMI-OUT on one side (left-side)... so you can easy plug it
can I use smart dock for ion (dk 20) with xperia p? Sony just ''erased'' xperia p on his page (I can't put link, just google it)
wy ask it here??!!, this is no Xperia S forum :s

Playstation Mobile released today. New games every Wednesday

I have a Sony Tablet S1, just hooked up a PS3 controller and am loving this even more..I have been trying to find games to play with it (mostly FPS) but finding out that there isn't much of a choice..
Currently have the following working with the PS3 controller :
Dead Trigger
Shadow Gun
Beach Buggy Blitz
CS Portable
Max Payne
Drag Racing
and of course Crash Bandicoot
I wonder how hard would it be possible for developers to incorporate the ability to use a controller
Also I wish there was a way to connect my tablet to my HDTV (mirror mode)
Does anyone else have a list of controller enabled games?
Cheers

Games played by controller (wired, bluetooth, etc) on an HDTV

After reading this answer by Overdose1986 (thanks mate!) I borrowed a Sony PS3 controller, downloaded Sixaxis controller and entered the world of mobile gaming! So after a few tests I decided to begin a thread about games that can be played with a controller (wireless and wired) on our devices so that we all share the experience and the know-how. I myself have tried 2 games so far (Pro 2012 and Raging Thunder 2), but didn't manage to play them , due to the fact that this games are played with the touchscreen and the accelerometer and I wasn't able to find a way to calibrate the touchscreen on Sixaxis Controller. I have a lot of work to do the next couple of days so I'm not sure if I can test some more games, but I definately want to focus on Pro Evolution (my ultimate favourite!!) and find out how to setup the touchscreen on Sixaxis!
Ok so where is the thread then???
Better plan your work before posting but for now is this the wrong topic you that you post this

This is the thread. The purpose of the thread, as I already mentioned, is to share experiences from the games we play with external controllers (wired and wireless). I don't understand your reaction, if you have something to contribute here, you are welcomed.
From the middle of nowhere to the center of everywhere...through my Arc S!

[Q] Does the Xperia Tablet Z supported Apt-X?

I am looking for ways of transmission high quality audio stream. Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X codec one of them. Does the Xperia Tablet Z supported Apt-X? Thanks.
It does not, but I really can't tell much of a difference between audio from the Tablet Z and audio from my Note 2 that does.

John Francis

[Q] gaming console

I was checking the Sony DualShock wireless 3 controller.. for my xperia zu.. bt cost me around 5000.that price is quite heavy .so I want to know if any othey(any cheap brand controler) can work on my device..
Almost any USB gamepad. You'll need an USB OTG cable for this to work. Generally it is Plug'n'Play. I can play SA2 with my XBOX 360 controller :good:

Depends on the game really. I've used my PS3 kontroller a couple of times, and you'll have to map the controlls yourself if the game doesn't support it natively. It's not that hard to do (using SixAxis Controller), but it's kind of annoying when you have a fully functioning controller, but the game won't recognize it. The game description in the Play Store will usually tell if the game is compatible with a controller, so check that before you buy anything.
Well. I used to play with emulators most of them supports a gamepad. but there are tons of games with gamepad support. Check out this link: http://androidgamepadgames.com
wonder if i can connect a steering wheel and have force-feedback work...
