Hello, I have installed BetterBatteryStats and CPU SPY, because I noticed that I had a faster than normal battery consumption when the tab was left alone.
I made a 30 mins test Wifi OFF, Flight Mode On, where the 29 mins of them showed me l2_hsic under Kernel Wakelock -> Since Unplugged.
Does anyone know what causes this and how to prevent it ?
Thank you.
( I am running Stock ICS 4.0.4 rooted)
I installed Pacman on my Note 2, and now I can't send text messages. Does anyone know how to fix this?
OK, I just did a factory reset, and went back to JellyBeans ROM, and I still can't send.
Can you use the net or anything else?
Did you try adjusting the settings in the SMS apk?
persistent alarm notification
This is my first time on pacman I was wondering if there is anyway to disable the alarm notification?

The notification or the status bar notification?
To block the status bar notification go in to the alarm clock -> settings -> disable show icon
So I'm sure I'm mussing something but there is something draining my battery. Like 40% in 4 hours. I've done a full wipe and battery recalibration which works for a few hours but then the battery gets incredibly warm. The battery stats just show android system and android os at like 30% but I can't figure out what it would be.

Sadly, sometimes AOSP has excessive battery drain. When I was on a TW rom, my battery life was amazing. After switching to AOSP simply cause I couldn't wait for 4.2-3 I noticed it was draining a bit faster. It might be wakelock though, so you can get a few apps to see what apps might be causing it. You can also get greenify.
Additionally, there was a known issue with the phone overheating/excessive battery drain since the switch over to 4.3.1. they talk about it in the pacrom, but said it would be fixed over the next few nightly builds
get devil kernel and you can also change the rate it charges at. i know it doesn't solve the issue, but it helps.
I have a new Android 5.1 tablet which is mostly clean, not many apps installed. It is not rooted and I don't want to root it too. I have installed BetterBatteryStats but it is very limited because of no root access. It shows always the following when I create a custom log point, turn it off and wait a few minutes, like:
Deep Sleep 50% (2m4s)
Awake (screen off) 50% (2m)
It is always 50:50 of those two. Is there a way to find out what causes Awake (screen off) drain?
Hi,
I have H830, 7.0 stock ROM rooted. I've disabled the update so has been running the same ROM for a while now.
Recently, it started to have severe battery drain, at the crazy rate of 1% a min.
Here is what I can see in Better Battery Stats (BBS)
Process view does not show a rogue app
Partial Wake Lock shows NlpWakeLock and NlpCollectorWakeLock, but not to an extent of crazy. I've read Stopping NlpWakeLock, NlpWakeLockCollector and RILJ but there is no clear answer there
Partial Wake Lock shows a lot of WifiOffDelayIfNotUsed but again not crazy
Alarm android Wakeups at 12 / min. Is this normal?
I've read A Comprehensive (but not by any means definitive) Guide to Wakelocks but did not find anything in the FAQ other than the above
How do I fix it? I have root but can't find anything to try at this point.
Thanks
