Android 5.1 tablet, battery drain - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a new Android 5.1 tablet which is mostly clean, not many apps installed. It is not rooted and I don't want to root it too. I have installed BetterBatteryStats but it is very limited because of no root access. It shows always the following when I create a custom log point, turn it off and wait a few minutes, like:
Deep Sleep 50% (2m4s)
Awake (screen off) 50% (2m)
It is always 50:50 of those two. Is there a way to find out what causes Awake (screen off) drain?

l2_hsic prevents my device from Deep Sleep. How to fix it?

Hello, I have installed BetterBatteryStats and CPU SPY, because I noticed that I had a faster than normal battery consumption when the tab was left alone.
I made a 30 mins test Wifi OFF, Flight Mode On, where the 29 mins of them showed me l2_hsic under Kernel Wakelock -> Since Unplugged.
Does anyone know what causes this and how to prevent it ?
Thank you.
( I am running Stock ICS 4.0.4 rooted)

Wakelock mystery!

Sup!
So my phone (GSM Galaxy Nexus, running 4.4.2, CM11) has been draining on battery pretty fast. Tried figuring out what it was - used the default battery status app - this showed up: Battery Status. That couldn't be normal, and it wasn't. Android OS was keeping the phone awake all the time: Android OS.
Fired up BBS: Kernel Wakelocks. I could use this, I thought. However, as it appears, Partial Wakelocks appears to be near-empty!
So what is causing these ghostly wakelocks? I'm currently flashing to the 23rd of January build, but it has been appearing for quite a while now, so I don't think it's the ROM version. (Running 16th)
Does this still happen after a reboot?
It stops for about 3 hours (3 hours deep sleep) and then it wakes up - doing nothing, again.

Improved stock android battery total standby calculation?

Dear developers,
Thanks for your great apps and support. Thanks to many of you my Samsung G901F can last about 3 days standby. The stock rom 6.01 only gave about 30 hours. I used CF auto root, greenify, Xposed framework, Amplify, setCPU, Appopsxposed, Bootmanager, Wakelock detector pro...
But I still got an question: Can someone program a better battery standby app and replace the stock?
The android 6.01 stock battery standby calculation is deceptive. If you use the phone in the beginning, like play a game for a few minutes it will remember and keep that battery usage in the equation to calculate your future usage.
This is just strange! Because the same usage cycle usually never repeats.
Perfect calculation would be to have 2 calculations and shown to user:
1) add an option that calculates standby time as in deep sleep battery drain .
2) and another calculation based on current drain (screen on, using app). So there are actually 2 different calculations.
Did someone program such app or stock battery calculation ?

deep sleep to save battery

hi
i found this crazy app that can put ur device into sleep mode without the need of root
" hibernate my cpu "
so i was 20 battery percent and i installed it and the battery seem to be improved ...way better
i can get 2 days

I've got a SLEEP MODE on SWITCH (But it's not the best we can have)

(I feel like a youtuber doing clickbait LOL.)
I managed to simulate a "deep sleep" thanks to tasker.
-When you turn on the screen status on the Wifi and bluetooth. Enter the processor at 1.2Ghz. Ondemend
-When you turn off the screen, turn off Wi-Fi and after 5 minutes, turn off the bluetooth. 400Mhz (?) In powersave. I am testing how long it takes to discharge the battery and see the screen time to know how long it lasts. but this will not solve the battery wear because it continues to work in the system but with another governor but less cpu. is necessary to have tasker. This apk has cost. But it is very useful with this.
edited:Hey guys, after all the testing I got 14 hours of battery without using the console. Now when I am writing I am my switch has a 55% battery
To edit.
Would magisk and greenify help with sleep mode?
Mind sharing the tasker's task list? (not sure what its should be called ) - I would appreciate as I'm using the switch as a daily driver for work and play which turning heads now.
