Thanks friend, but did not want to use xposed framework, only flash the zip.
You might not have other options.

Restart bootloader is not EPM and why you would want to do such is very odd .
Search Extended Power Menu or Advanced Power menu .
Its also in many custom roms .

were you rooted - should be if you were able to delete that....? if yes, can you get into recovery mode and flash something there
if not try to get into download mode
vol down + power + home button - if you can get into donwload mode just get a stock rom and flash it via odin.

God here, sorry I was a little slow posting people have so many problems they want sorting out.
My divine knowledge says this person is correct, because you deleted a system folder the only real option is to reflash your current rom (you won't need to wipe) via CWM or Odin, both should be accessible because it's a system problem. You could also flash a different rom, however this will require a data wipe.

So you say by beeing rooted you have a custom recovery? Anyway just flash with odin same rom, and all is fine.
Like others said this should easily be fixed by flashing a Firmware through Odin.
However there really was no need to open up 2 threads with the exact same question:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095932
Factory reset no need to install another firmware . You have not removed the bin from your hidden recovery image .

I would prefer to reflash no need to restore anything, and nothing lost.

Hey guys, whenever I flash a theme for a ROM, the power option menu will always disappear. When I long press the power button on the side, it will reboot the phone without showing "Power off, Reboot, Screenshot" that menu. Yeah so I am wondering how to bring the menu back. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It might be a Rom bug!

Nope happen to me also on js9 its a framework issue. Reflashing might solve it or did u flash any mods over the rom. If yes reflash the mods. If no reflash the rom. Problem would be solved

Dude how can you say that its not a Rom bug? He didn't even specify which Rom he used!
If it is framework related glitch, how would reflashing same Rom help?
Wouldn't the same issue persist?
Sent from my MT11i using xda premium
I had the same issue when I flashed aeons small apps... Then I reflashed part 2 and the problem disappeared.. This happens due to a bad flash and framework related stuff .. So I said... Atleast a try could help. How can I guarantee whether it would be solved without knowing the rom and mods... Bt 99% a reflash should solve the problem..
Nd most probably he said it was a theme flash so I think that could create an issue

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my SGS2 it won't do in CWM recovery.
Let me explain:
1. Bought a Samsung Galaxy s2 i9100.
2. Flashed the leaked Jelly Bean with Odin.
3. Rooted with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994544, method 1.
4. Used GalaxSim to unlock.
Up to this point everything was working fine, great rom, no hiccups, butter smooth. Installed couple of apps.
Then I wanted to make a backup of my system, and realized that i had no CWM recovery.
This is when things got messed up.
5. Installed ROM manager, tried to boot into recovery, ROM manager reported "No CWM recovery installed"
6. So i went ahead, selected i9100 from the menu ... "CWM recovery has been installed", version 4.0.1.5.
Here is the problem:
- When i select "Reboot into recovery", the device reboots in CWM recovery
- When i try to reboot in CWM recovery with 'Vol UP + Home button + Power button' the stock recovery comes up.
It is like the device has two recovery images. (CWM + stock)
Q1. Do i go on and flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLSJ-OXX-*.tar via Odin with no reflashing of the rom?
Q2. Do i have to reflash the leaked Jelly Bean with Odin, and then root+flash CWM?
I really like the SGS2, and dont want to end up with a expensive door-stopper.
Thanks
You can flash siyah ..... You will get DualBooting + Overclocking and a Very Advance version of CWM .....
Flash v6.0
Its a Permanent CWM Recover and better Uninstall ROM Manager ... It Makes Problems

you could have rooted with cf-root 6.5 instead...it includes CWM, otherwise google clockwordmode recovery and download the recovery and flash it with odin, simple as that!
I googled it but there's only one for Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), While mine is a GT-19305, Can I use CWM for 19300 on 19305?

Hello! S3 folks. This post seems to be dead for sometime now..still I thought posting a solution for a problem which I went through might be useful. Please refer to the following post by ChainFire http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26817378

CWM + Root for SAMSUNG Galaxy Pocket Neo ( GT-S5310 )
WARNING!!! This solution provided as is (with no warranty of any kind). Be careful because the described operations rather dangerous and possibly can brick your device. Author is not responsible for your device damage.
IMPORTANT: Usage of this method will affect the state of the "Custom BIN down" counter in your device. This means that you may have problems with official warranty.
Step 1. Getting software
1. Download Odin 3.0.7 here
2. Download CWM-based recovery here
3. Download update package for rooting here (downloaded from here Thanks to Phil3759)
4. Install Samsung drivers\kies this page (This link is for S5301 but it works ok for S5310 in current case)
P.S. Sorry for ugly file storage solution - google drive. If it will open the zip archive just click "File" menu and click "Download" (or use Ctrl+S combo).
Step 2. Flash the updates
1. Switch off the device. Hold "volume down"+"home" buttons and press power button. When device switch on release the power button but continue to hold volume down and home until Download mode warning appear. Plug in the USB cable and press volume up button to continue. The device will load in ODIN download mode.
2. Run ODIN 3.0.7. Don't change any setting (checkboxes ) - leave them in default state. Your device should appear in "ID:COM" part of the screen as serial device (i.e. "COM38") - if not check if your USB port is functional and Samsung drivers installed correctly.
3. Click on PDA button and chose CWM recovery file saved during step 1.2. Don't rename or decompress the file - otherwise it will not work.
Wait until ODIN decompress the package and check the checksums. After it just press START button and wait until the process is over.
4. Copy update package for rooting on SD card and put the card in device's slot.
5. Switch off your device again. Hold "volume up"+"home" buttons and press power button to switch on. Don't release volume up and home until the recovery loaded. Using volume up and volume down buttons navigate to menu item "apply update from external card" and press power button to commit operation. Then navigate to Root_Superuser_3.1.3......zip file and press power button again.
Notice: you can use sideload feature instead of using SD card: in recovery run "update from sideload" and on your computer run the following command:
adb sideload rooting_package_filename
6. Done. Your device should be rooted now. You can check it with various free programs like Root Checker available at Google Play.
Enjoy
Sorry for being such a chicken, but, before I try this myself, is there any feedback from others? If not, I'll probably take the chance in a couple of days and post my results here.
I tried this tonight. The good news is my phone is not bricked :good:
The bad news is my phone is not rooted
Everything worked as described until the last stage - in recovery I keep getting the message
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Click to collapse
The other thing I'm curious about is that my recovery mode looks suspiciously like the vanilla Samsung recovery, although I only looked at that once, so I can't be sure. According to ODIN, the update was successful.
How can I check the type of recovery mode installed on my phone?
Thanks again for your efforts, and for any further advice you can provide.

A custom Rom utilising the built in bluetooth 4.0 btle would be very popular with cyclists and runners as it would work with the heart rate sensors
And cheap, small but light
Must be on 4.3 or higher
We just need to find some one to make one (even just stock!)
