hello ,
I have Canvas HD a116 with the 4.2.1 (official :updated from MMX service center).I want to root my phone .I have tried to root by motochopper method which is used to root Canvas HD 4.2.1 ..but to no success.I believe that the SUbin method isn't valid for 4.2.1. Can anyone provide any other alternative method to root??

Framaroot is really very easy...now having rooted my device I want to install custom roms ..which are the best for my device(cyanogenmod shows device not compatible).How to customize the phone overall??
SuperLuminaLdad is a very very nice ROM. It runs smoothly. It gives a nexus like experience.

installing CWM recovery after root
thanks for the name of the ROM.I have heard that even MIUI Rom is good .How to install CWM recovery mod after rooting??Can you at least mention the link to a thread ??Thanks btw.
Install CWM recovery
Download recovery image
Place the CWM recovery image in the root of your sd card. root means just open the SD card and place it there itself do not place it inside a folder or sub folder.
Then install mobile uncle tools from playstore.....open it grant su permissiion and now click recovery update option....u ll see that recovery image which u had copied in sd card...click on that click install....and it will automatically install CWM..

How to root my Tecno T3
please I need to root my tecno t3. I've tried all one click solutions and they didn't work
To gain root access, you have to perform the root method by installing POOT apk and MINISTRO II apk.
Download: Poot Tecno n3
Download: Ministro II library(from Google play store)
To ROOT your TECNO N3 is simple
Just install POOT apk to internal memory and run the apps. it will require you to install MINISTRO II, you'll get -error like "update minstro library", just update through google play store.
Then proceed again to the next step. After installing and updating all the libraries of QT, your phone will automatically reboot(or reboot manually)
You'll get two buttons
1. "press here to poot"
2. "built in root check
Click on the first button to poot and wait till you have 3 buttons
, That means you are now rooted.
You can now complete the process by downloading super user application from the play store

If phone vibrate n goes blank try this steps.
1- enable usb debuging
2- change location of install app to fone memory.
3- uninstall pook and ministro
4-reboot N3 and reinstall pook and ministro II
5-Make sure you have internet connection so as to update ministro binary
6-restart your N3 after the update
7-unmount sdcard and run pook
8-select the 1st option and wait. if pook display install superuser then u hv sucessfully root your N3.
If phone vibrate n goes blank then remove battery n put it back. power the fone, as soon as it shows instaling sdcard quickly run pook and n press the first option.
will this work for T3 and can i install rom? thanks

Thanks to give me quick reply.
But I tried to install it. After that my phone was started to give me error " format SD card" in notification. Then I given my phone to service center to rectify it.
Now I have one more issue while installing my stock ROM using TWRP backup that I have, I did selection of check box on system and boot only.After that I removed my root access. Now my phone not able to connect with my WiFi network. And also I am not able to root it with my same process that I did earlier four five times.so I can reinstall my stock backup and rectify my WiFi problem. Any suggestions for this. Plz reply me as soon as possible because I am thinking to give it again to service center and they will charge me.

First of all Install CWMR using SPflash Tools Use the attachted scatter file.
Then flash UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.34.zip for root

I was just searching across how to install CWM recovery in Canvas 4 but couldn't find any so thought of posting it here for anyone who is new and needs it.
Requirements: Phone should be Rooted.
Where to Get CWM Recovery for Micromax A210 Canvas 4?

Flashing Instructions:
Download the CWM Recovery available in the above thread, extract it from the rar file and copy it to the ROOT of you SD Card
Open Play Store and download Mobile Uncle Tools
Then launch Mobile Uncle Tools and Click on Recovery Update (See screenshot)
Then Click on the first recovery that it show, with location SD Card (See screenshot)
And apply it.
It will ask to reboot, do it and you are done.. :good:

My friend bricked his phone(tried installing chainfire3d,as if its needed) and it's stuck on boot logo.... he hasn't installed cwm before that.....'so how can i install cwm? i havent found any method that would help me....... waitng for ur reply...... PS:im not able to install a custom rom either(with stock recovery).

The other way to install this is using SP Flash tool, we use it on Micromax A110 so not sure whether it will work for A210, you can try and check..

But I'm unable to do so because when i go through the# recovery mode # an android logo showing a Danger sign is there which isn't earlier there all the options there are not working which inhibit the rooting process. so pls. Help me what to do before rooting & there aftere step wise as I am new rooting world of android. Thx.. In advance.

Nothing us required to be done b4 rooting
As by rooting no data loss r anything would not happen so do the steps in the above post clearly Nd properly

Framaroot is not there in the play store , if possible give me the link. 2...ok i found the mobile uncle app & add it to the wishlist .3...from where to download the recovery image.3...as u have told i should have a option to update the recovery image which i found when i go through the recovery mode of my device!!!
