Ok my problem Is I'm trying to change the dewdrop sound I got the unlock sound changed and working but every time I try to change the lock sound it doesn't work I changed the custom sound to dewdrop_lock.ogg please help thanks in advance

i am on miracle v2
if i keep my mobile on vibration-only and whenever i reboot my device my profile automatically changed to ringing instead of vibration only.
and then when i manually changes it back to vibration-only then i dont get vibration notifications for sms, mails, whatsapp etc etc.
so then i have to use a software from market sound manager and then have to change settings from there of vibration and then i get vibration for notifications.
i know there is some setting problem but not able to find it never faced this thing.
anybody else also facing this ?
please help.
Me 2 have same prob before but now I found that we have to change the notification setting in the apps like sms,watsapp..etc.

tried everything but it again sets back on reboot.
Reinstall rom may be it works:thumbup:

Hello guyz i flashed ics , so i wanted to try one of the big features which is face unlock.i had set everything up but whenever i try to unlock it works but it doesn't take the fullscreen only half. Which a bit sucks. Do more of you guys have this problem...

After install speed rom 7.9 I am facing some problems, so first of all am not an expert so take it easy on me
Non of the audio works not ring tone not videos nothing
video recording doesn't work
also videos on youtube tend to go fast plus there is no sound
Tried flashing again tried soundabout app fix permission and no luck

Had the same problem when I install SpeedROM. Go into setting and change the ringtone and notification settings off of silent. They are set to silent by default. Try that and report back. If all is well leave me a Thanks

if you checked sound setting but not ok, you can try plug in microphone, beat ear... via 3.5mm jack audio.
And lock that..

Using any file explorer, go to media/audio/ui folder and tell me what all files are there. If there are 13 files there, make sure their permissions are 644 or rw-r--r--
That ought to be the problem

Just check Sound Volumes in setttings and set Media and Notification to a high value and see if it works then
Otherwise you'll have to try a factory reset

When making a call, the volume is too low for anyone to hear me. However, as soon as I switch to speakerphone, it works fine. Recording seems to work fine as well. This makes me think there is something wrong with the bottom mic. It's stock T-Mobile ROM, I just rooted it, however, can't find an app that could adjust mic volume.
I've tried searching, but there are thousands of threads for Galaxy S2, that require you enter a secret menu. I couldn't find a code for my phone.
Did you find a solution for mic problem ?

I am on stock rom MS50012b. Please share your fix even if the rom is different. I will try with my Rom.

My phone is rooted. but i didn't see the lines with my build.prod. Here is what is over there:

Ahmed, Just would like to mention that I have rooted LG F6. my problem is not exactly like yours but seems somehow related. For me, call voice is perfectly fine but using speakerphone, my voice become sorta not available...means nothing goes to other party if i activated speaker phone. recording with mic is perfectly fine as well.

Oh man i thought you had Optimus G. That fix ia for G. Low gain on speaker phone means problem in noise cancellation mic. Once you putyour phone on speaker mode noise cancellation mic acts a main mic . I'm not sure if your phone has that or not ?

hm...I got confused with header "LG Optimus F6/D500" of this thread. My phone has F6/D500. I think "Optimus G" and "Optimus F6" are same sort of animals, I need to check documentations to identify "Noise cancellation Mic" location. But do you know any settings (build.prop) that is responsible for "Noise cancellation Mic".
