If it is a system application, my answer is yes, you have to get root access to remove it.
If it not a system application, then use Application Manager.

There are lots of tutorias and guides on xda.
You can use it to learn rooting.

guys my xolo a600 is there.. and its back button(touch) is working automatically after some time of use. and security 360 detected tertiary tracker in ROM as malware... is my back button problem is because of tertiary tracker .(????? plese reply anyone.. wat is this tertiary tracker actuallly??? how to remove??????

If i had known why would i ask what is it and how to remove it??
My anti virus had found it that Tertiary tracker is in my phone system and it needed root access to remove it.

Can anyone help me root Karbonn A18. From what I have gathered in searching around is that Karbonn is marketing phones from China and some of these phones have already been rooted elsewhere. If we are able to find the original phone then it would be simple to root as the same root procedure shall apply for this phone too.

I read some where that:
"The phone is pre-rooted and with apps+ADB access.(Install superuser simply and use root apps)"
can somebody check and confirm?
got the phone yesterday... i can confirm that this phone is pre-rooted...
i used root checker it says phone has no root access.
u need to confirm whether root access is enabled in developer options... select it to root+adb... then install superuser from play store and then check again...

1.Hows the performance of the phone.I am reading much about this fone,every1 has reviewed it ,with positive remarks.
2. it need not to be rooted , right ?
3. i needed a sub10k android ICS gaming ,with video calling over the network,not thru' SKYPE
4.Hows touch response.

It's nice phone.. Used it no problem at all.. Prerooted just install superuser or supersu.. Bett backup is not so good but if u have auto killer app or like this than provide more by killing background process... Touch is very responsive never find a problem.. Camera quality is also very good.. All apps r available in play store. Even large games which I thinks that's not the played plays smoothly like all glu game..I played 600 mb game with smoothness... So it's a nice budget phone... Custom ROM also available so u can relax and do anything...

Xtouch website was already an engineering mode code.'m Using this code to access the engineering mode and mobile phone settings from the default and Mobile Speaker, I have a problem. Now this code has been removed from the website xtouch and I do not have access to this code. Mobile speaker is also my problem. The code starts with * # * #. Who are all these codes?

You could try porting ROMs from other devices
Make sure to backup first though (learnt that the hard way...)

I flashed mine with a new rom from the device's website (xtouch x718), didnt know how to backup. Ended up with the touch screen not working

Try porting ROMs or if that isn't possible,
boot into recovery and perform a factory reset. That should fix things but make a backup of important stuff on your PC first..
oh and @B4nGaR4nG you don't need root to install a custom ROM.

I just bought a Yu Yunique 2 Plus YU5012 in hopes of rooting but I can't seem to root it. The problem is that there is no custom recovery available for this phone yet and neither am I able to use any one click root app since this phone is running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
I would really appreciate if anyone has any solution to this. I couldn't seem to find any such answer related to this. All that I got to know was that if someone can port the recovery for this mobile then custom recovery may work. And I'm up if anyone wants me to test it out on my device. :good:

I believe that both devices belong to the smae family and hence one solution would work for both.
My device (YU5011) was also unable to get rooted by these one click root apps.
As I don't have a pc handy...I would recommend you to try the pc version of these one click root softwares. Who knows, it might work!

I also own this. But I couldn't find any rooting method for this one. This one has so many bloatwares . I hope somebody see this. And make a twrp for Yu5011 or any method

Root access lost after reboot in magisk patch ROM
I rooted the same device using magisk patch ROM, but it looses root access after reboot also after a few flashes its bootloader got stuck and I had to flash stock ROM again. Can anyone help to solve the issues?
