Hey I'm trying to make a playlist, in which the songs will be from a certain folder.
I use linux and figured the phone would probably also be case senstive so I make a playlist on the computer, then manually edited the paths to correspond to those on the phone. Didn't work =/
anybody got a way of doing this? Unfortunately the Tags on the files are ****ty so just clicking "genre" or something doesn't work.
If nobody knows a way to do this, does anybody know a program that fixes id3 tags semi-automatically or at least a program with batch id3 tag editing? (looking to avoid iTunes if possible)
Hah! nevermind. That did work actually. I just hadn't waited long enough for mediascape to recognize it.
Hi everyone,
i've looked around a little but i haven't yet found a program to sync my sensation with my computer, but i don't want a normal sync which just puts the songs from my pc onto my android, i want something which also takes the songs from my android and puts them on my computer. Does anyone know of such a program?
please reply!
Hi guys. To start off with.....I'm blonde and technically challanged....so type slow
Is there a way to save my contacts onto my SIM card......I know it saves the contacts onto the computer, but I'd much rather save them onto the SIM
The other question I had was about the Music. This phone advertises that you can download music for free, but I haven't been able to find how to do this.....does this have to be done from the computer? All the music I can find on the phone is charged.
I love this phone, the camera is awesome, the apps I've seen are crazy My only whinge would be the crappiest user guide ever! Honestly, why put all these fantastic features on the phone then not tell you how to operate them? I've managed to muddle my way through most of it (blonde hair and all) but would have been easier to sit down and read how to do it.
Thanks in advance guys.
To save to sim card, People hub, three dots bottom right, settings, import sim contacts, should have the option to export too.
Not sure about the music as I only use what I have on PC or buy from store, I did hear you can stream for free using either Nokia Music or xbox I think?
Have fun :fingers-crossed:

Thank you so much for your answer. No, there is no option to export but I found where you sent me Thanks again.
About the music, you have to download Nokia Music (when it doesnt show in the market, change your country to UK in the settings>region) and there you will see the mix radio. You can stream free music (with internet connection) then make it available offline.

No, you cannot save contacts to the SIM. They are automatically saved to your Live/Outlook.com account online.
Apart from the Nokia mix radio app that allows you to make mixes available for offline listening there are some apps that allow you to download individual tracks and create your own playlists for offline use. One such app is Amazing Music.

There is a downloadable PDF user guide available from Nokia. Just visit their website to download.

Or you can install an app called My Windows Phone which gives you a how to guide on your phone.

I lost a lot of info from my Note II's internal storage several months ago, including some songs that I can't seem to find again because I don't remember the song names etc.
I have a backup of the playlists file folder with all the .PLA files still in it, unfortunately, they're "empty" when viewed on the phone.
Is there any way to see the song titles that were in the playlist file? Like is there a program that can read PLA files for what was in them? I don't care that I don't have the actual songs... I just need the titles.
Really appreciate the help! Thanks!
Seems like such an easy thing to do but I'm having trouble figuring it out, I'm trying to organize my pictures a little bit better and I heard everyone raving about quickpic. My question to everyone is theres gotta be a way to create not just an album but be able to create a folder so I can stick albums together and organize them a little bit better rather than having 40 different albums. Learning out to do albums was really convenient and very nice but now that I have so many albums I need to organize them a little bit more so there a way I can stick them into groups? Thanks everyone for any and all feedback
