Hi, please set your DPI/resolution settings to default. Currently Themer only supports stock settings. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Ok! How long time do you think it will take for it to get that just a question.

It's impossible to give an exact ETA, but maybe in a month or two. Right now we don't have the resources, as we're more focussed on eliminating the bugs and making Themer more stable. Custom DPI support is an immense task, but we will look into it in the future.
Ok!

Any technical explanation to why it brakes if you change dpi or navbar?

Hi,
It all comes down to the widgets and wallpaper being made specifically for that phone type (e.g. the Xperia Z). If the user alters the DPI, we don't have the programming implemented yet (as this is incredibly difficult) to tell Themer that the DPI/screen size has changed and to adjust the widget/wallpaper size accordingly.
This will hopefully arrive in the future once we have more time and resources.

LEDs-U-CTRL has become inflexible and leaves little room for expansion at the moment.
So I'm planning on building a v2.0 to be released in 2013 (not sure yet when, all depends on available time etc)
I have a big wishlist of features and wonder which to give priority at the first release.
So please vote to what you think is important.
Here a preview of the advanced sequencer:
Please add compatibility for unofficial JB stock xperia u..! :good: Thosands of thanks for this app!

will be same price as before.
But will be a new app as it's ICS+ only and will be both apps in 1.
Not sure yet if people have to buy it again.
Don't know if there is a way to transfer the license if it becomes a new app
But it will be better build and many new features, so perhaps keep both versions.
with the current one getting reduced/free.
cool:good:
I have 2 questions
1. Is there any way to increase color staturation via tools or upcoming updates from sony. (ie display colab was ported to xperia z)
2. Will this tablet recieve the 4.2.2 update or is cm10 needed.
Thanks and i apologize if the questions are too noobish.

1. Not yet. My guess is that we will probably see it in a 4.2.2 update. No one actually knows yet.
2. Sony have said it will be coming soon. No date has been given though. I'm really hoping it improves performance or I'll have no choice but to go for another ROM.

Really nothing major, but it does stutter with the recent apps draw and similar little things. It also doesn't play animations very well in some spots. It is pretty snappy for the most part though, just not quite Nexus 4 snappy.

Nope, I'm on nova launcher. It's very fast and fluid on the home screen. The choppy animations are pretty random in odd areas, but still frequent enough to make me notice them. Small apps is very choppy for example.
For 1) - I am using the App "Screen Adjuster" for that.
Screen adjuster doesnt have an option for saturation or gamma. Hope sony releases their app.
I consider this phablet as a very good option. This afternoon I was in the store and I was amazed about the size and design.
But I have two questions:
Can you tell me your user experience with the Xperia Z Ultra? You can tell me any bug present on the phablet too.
How I can replace the battery in damage situations? I am worried, the XZU has integrated battery, I have a device like this an device like this and it's life was of 6 months. And when I tried to find another battery, I only take this device to the trash, :crying: I don't find anything.
Are this type of phablets a good option? What life time it have?
Thanks in advance and good night.

There are batteries on the internet so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to change.
The biggest bug is that on stock ROM most (if not all apps) run in phone mode. The other is the, at best, average camera.

bug? the rom is configured to run in phone mode
Yeah, that's not a bug. That's the way Sony made it

ok, over-sight then rather than bug
easily fixable with Xposed Framework - App Settings.
I absolutely love my XZU, by far the best phone I ever had. The one thing that is below average is the camera, but that might get better with future updates.

Yes I know that, and have it installed, but why should I have to root my phone just to do something that should be available to a near tablet?

You bought a phone not a tablet, no?
Root is easy, and should almost be something of a necessity on this device.

That's because Sony is defining the Ultra as a phone and not a tablet. The app "Pocket" though, defines it as a tablet and that's why we have the tablet UI. It's the same thing with "TV Show Favs" and "IMDb" too.

But it's not about Sony and how they think it should be marketed, it should be all about the user and how they use the product. Sony would have known that the device will be used more as a tablet than a phone for a lot of users, would it have been so difficult to ad a toggle in display settings to switch between phone/phablet/tablet modes?
Next I'll want a toggle to swap between pocket size and tablet size - changing the physical form factor...

I think sony took reasonable decision here. Because a tablet layout would be too horrendous for a portrait layout. Everything will be too narrow. It is clearly only for a landscape layout (which suits tablet z more appropriately) but yeah a tablet layout on landscape is still a possibility. But i think Android doesn't support such layout witch just by the rotation?

Hi moosha,
The developers are looking into supporting low-end devices, however this may only arrive in the future. The problem lies in the fact that Themer uses advanced widgets that require large amounts of resources from the phone in order to operate effectively. The developers however are continually working to optimize Themer in order to reduce the impact it makes on phones
I'll be waiting ...thanx

Probably won't work... the camera in the Rezound is not supported in most newer kernels, the drivers we have are old, this is been one of the main stumbling blocks in development on this device since he have to do complicated work arounds to even get the camera to work in newer ROMs, the chances that the Z2's camera apk or utilities will even work are slim to none. Sorry. You might be able to find a third party utility in the Play Store that can do this at the software level though, but this isn't my area of expertise...
I want to use the background defocus, maybe I will buy a new device. is there anything you recommend? but not z2 of course, z2 very expensive

As I stated before, the camera isn't my area of expertise... I don't have a recommendation for a phone that will do that, I take very mundane pictures. Sorry
