Hi there,
I adquired a X10a with BL unlocked and X10S V9 by Championswimmer rom. It was Sim unlocked with x10unlocked dot com software.
I installed xRecovery because i wanted to give it a try to DonutHD. After wiping and installing it thru xRecovery, i couldnt boot my phone.
So i opened Flashtool.
I used (accidentally) x10_v1_BLRelock.ftf.
Tried and successed to flash x10_2.3_aro.ftf but i couldn't unlock my bootloader.
It appears everytime i flash: - Loader : S1_Loader_Root_f851 - Version : R4A024 / Bootloader status : UNROOTABLE
and with every flashed stock rom, i cant use my cellphone radio, not with my original chip or any other.
This image appears when i run s1tool.
Does it have any solution? or my x10 is totally bricked?
Thank you.
Anyhelp!
Any help would be appreciated :/

I think its because you flashed custom ROM with custom kernel without cleaning your phone (factory reset, cache wipe and dalvik wipe) then you locked the bootloader and flashed stock ROM on custom kernel... Both X10S and donut HD rin on modified stock kernel... You need to root your phone again and unlock your bootloader, Once you achieved that go to CWM and do factory reset, wipe cahce and wipe dalvik cache... Now plug your phone with flashtool and flash the X10S.... If you are using donut HD then you need to flash the required kernel and then donut HD...
Im atttaching the required kernel which you can use with donut HD... If wifi doesnt work then flash wifi fix which is the 2nd attachment...
This kernel link was available till X10S v8.2/8.3 (both are by championswimmer) and now i cant find the link so im uploading here to help you out... hope this helps...

Flash the kernel using flashtool and WiFi fix using CWM....
Remember you flash the WiFi fix after you install the ROM.... and please do a total clean install... Also if X10s V9 gives you problem then try using X10s V8.2/8.3 and use the kernel and WiFi fix from above post.... good luck

In your phone go to settings-> apps-> unknown sources on and also turn on android debugging then Open flashtool and go to plugins tab under there you will find unlock boot option ... Check below link

Hey everyone,
I tried to flash amin kernel when I was on scritch 4.1 kernel, slimbean ROM by x10forevers...the flashing process went well and the log screen said that it had been flashed successfully. But when the phone started up, the kernel logo that came up was still scritch kernel...when I checked the settings>about phone, it said there that the kernel was indeed aminkernel and when I checked using setcpu, it showed the same, that I had aminkernel and I have access to all the speeds and governors of aminkernel..
But the boot logo is still that of scritch kernel. Is there something wrong, or is this a harmless bug?
Its fine its the same kernel think they both work together on two seperate ones but have roughly the same outcome

What? Sorry I didn't get you...aminkernel 7005 pro and scritch 4.1 kernel are the same?
Recently I flashed world generic stock GB .184 ftf to my Xperia U using flashtool, rooted it and removed unnecessary applications but now there is network drop every now and then.
Earlier I had the same GB version (but an Indian version) unrooted and with bloatware, but never had this network drop issue.
I just want to know is there any other kernel which can be flashed over stock to solve this network problem (I hope it's with the kernel )

Since i've unlocked my bootloader, rooted my phone, and installed the 3.0.2 HD Xperia ROM my battery is draining quicker than normal when the phone is used, especially with wifi turned on (The wifi sleep policy is set to never).
Would switching kernel/ROM help, because my Neo V battery can't handle it?
I'm currently using the night elf kernel I believe, with the 3.0.2 HD Xperia ROM.
I'm fairly new to kernels, custom ROMs, rooting, etc.
Btw, if I swap kernel will this affect my current ROM (settings, apps, contacts)?

try suave kernel as you are using ics based rom
if you want to try out jb based rom try fusion v5.4
I cant get Wi-Fi to work with that kernel

To answer last part: swapping kernels doesn't affect settings apps contacts... You can change without needing backup...

I've tried 2 kernels so far, the night elf kernel and the suave kernel. The problem is that I can't use WiFi with the suave kernel. The problem with my current setup(night elf kernel, 3.0.2 hd Xperia ROM) is that it drains my battery pretty quick.

Did you flash the suave kernel modules?
Sent from my Neo V using xda-developers app
Probably not, I will try and report back
EDIT: so i've tried suave, lupus and night elf. And now my wifi is broken with all three.
I can't get into recovery mode without rom mamanger/x-parts, but since i have no wifi i can't install it.
Is there a way to flash the suave wifi module with the flash tool?
Since I've tried 3 ics 4.0.4 kernels already i'm starting to think it's the ROM which drains my battery

may also be some application open in the background, try to freeze some app using titanium backup tool.

Why can't you go to recovery without xparts??
Sent from my Neo V using xda-developers app
Don't know, sometimes it boots normally when I reboot in recovery. I can't get my phone into recovery with the key combination. I've read that unlocking the bootloader can cause short battery life aswell. I've tried two ROMs so far with night elf and stock kernel and both give me a short battery life in comparison with the locked bootloader.

I don't think a different ROM would solve the battery issue as I already tried 2 ROMs, a JB based and a ICS based. When I flashed the original ROM I noticed that the battery life is still poor which leads me to either a broken battery or the unlocked bootloader. Any other suggestions? Anyone with a NEO V with a unlocked bootloader that has the same problem

dude your battery is broken
or miscalibrated as there is no battery backup issue after unlocking the bootloader
battery performance is rather improved with kernels like suave fusion lupus
After installing a new ROM use Battery Calibration from Google Play.
Install wakelock detector and look if any apps wakelocking CPU. You can olso download CPU Spy and look if Your phone is going to deep sleep state. When phone can't deep sleep and CPU is always working, battery drain is huge.
And third advice. If you are changing kernel it's good to flash again your ROM, sometimes can appear some problems with modules
i had this mt15 which i gave to my niece, now she is having problem, the phone boots and i can see the lockscreen for 1 sec, then it reboots, and does the same, so i flashed ics again, booted, but then again, reboot, is a hardware related issue or battery issue? anyone please tell me
try repairing phone firmware using SUS/PCC. hardware could hardly be the problem.
Did you messed up with the phone ? Just clean a stock rom with flashtool ,, i recommend GB 2.3.4 not ics i think your niece dont need root
