- yes you can flash any custom kernel for latest CM11

6. Why I cannot install a normal APK ?
- turn off HALO first everytime you want to install normal APK.
7. How to turn off/on HALO ?

Not exactly the rom that he ported is the build i made for SGS+ .It is exactly as same as beam kat but with some changes to get it working
EDIT:Better flash it over a cm11 rom if you dont want to have problems.

Yes ROM doesn't boot. It keeps showing blinking X.
I followed the steps.
Downloaded ROM zip file.
Extracted boot.img and flashed it using fastboot.
Started device to CWM recovery.
Formatted system, cache and data in that order.
Wiped Data/Cache.
Wiped dalvik cache.
Installed ROM zip
Installed GApps 4.4.2 Core
Restarted device.
Keeps showing blinking X for the past 15 minutes. Looks like the space in system partitiion is not enough for the ROM to boot. But that is just my guess.

Just before installing this ROM, I was using LegacyXperia KitKat 4.4 for SK17i. Freespace app was showing only 5% free space in system partition. BEAM KAT ROM is built over LegacyXperia, I believe and it has additional features. it's my guess that the 5% space remaining is not sufficient to boot. Sorry for my bad English.

hi, i just tried this rom. it's fast and responsive. i can't decide if this one is better than xosp - reborn +. it will stay on the phone as daily rom on my friends phone (ray).
the only bug i have found so far: reboot to recovery doesn't work - it disconnects from mobile networks then it just sits at rebooting (not frozen) - then when i take out the battery and restart the phone it goes to recovery
one more thing: can you recommend me which "2sd" solution works best with this one (link2sd, cronmod ...)
edit: one more bug: torch fc when trying to turn it on

the torch issue will be resolved in next build
i dont use any 2sd app so cant suggest but i guess all must work
ROM is a personal choice. Go with whichever you like

Detailed Review With Some Feature Mentioned...
After the Install First thing u noticed is that RAM Management.
It's almost giving 160mb -180mb ram up.
After the lots of Rom exp. this is first Customizable KK Rom give that much free RAM. For that BIG:good::good::good:
It's the fastest and smooth exp. Rom other than CM11 Builds as Its a Base Rom for all so Thats y BIG thanx to mikeioannina for made that builds
and Thanx :good: to Skull47 who actually made this Rom and other Devs scott.hart.bti , rebelos who helped to made this Rom.
As Already mentioned by Our Dev skull47,
Some of Features are Yet to be merged AND Feature List.... Its a long one and growing every day!

7.Display and Animation = Screen Recorder not working, CRT animation with options,Custom system animations with listview , Xposed Installed Already with per app settings,Gesture Navigation.
Custom ProgressBar as shown in 1st and 2nd screen. All works except screenrecorder.
8.Power menu = with style colour.( Dont use ScreenRecorder in this which is Not work uptill now).

thanks @Kobalto07 for logcat but currently it's not needed as i'm currently downloading the .zip from server without any kind of modifies from cm and i'll let you know guys
EDIT :- Bad news guys, ReVolt control fc is caused by there's not a kitkat branch for ReVolt Control app on github (atleast,yes there is,but it's the same of android 4.3) I will try using for example a 4.3 ReVoltcontrol.apk but this is very improbable .

I didn't do anything. Gps should work similar to dhiru's rom because I use his device tree. In kernel I changed voltage and gpu. You can find everything what I have done on my github profile

After setting up system, unfortunately BACK and MENU buttons aren't works for me...
Edit: When I was uninstalled "FC maker" Kernel Tweaker app, and installed other program (namely Device Control) and then, BACK & MENU buttons missed.
Now I reinstall the ROM again, uninstall Kernel Tweaker again, and install NoFrills, and now everything ok. (I hope)
GPS does works.
