Have a look here http://galaxys2root.com/galaxy-s2-root/how-to-root-galaxy-s2-newworks-on-all-galaxy-s2-variants/
Lots of info here.
I searched a way to root my phone in this site and every other I found and didn't
find one.
Excuse me if this post is not necesary and the solution was right in front of me the whole time.
I tried my best not to unnecesary disturb the comunity but failed.
This is the phone in question:
http : / / www . dhgate . com /3-5-inch-capacitive-touch-screen-android/p-ff808081366bccce0136a5492f261e89.html
Some data about it:
BB Chip: MT6573
MS Board.: e1117_v73_jhgg
Modem Ver.: MAUI.11AMD.W11.37.SP.V17
Kernel Ver.: 2.6.35.7
Android Ver.: 2.3.6
SW ver: ALPS.GB.FDD2.MP.V4.5
I don't know if there are any other relevant data you need to help me except that the rom is odexed
Please help me, I need this mainly to fix the hebrew in orientation, It's really annoying having to read everithing backwards.
Thank you in advance.
Your best bet is to use SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse. You can google the name or go to his website at shortfuse org
Some of the methods I already tried
Thank you for your reply!!
I didn't told you before the methods I already tried.
First: before reading that many exploits were fixed in 2.3.6 I tried z4root and superoneclick with zergRush.
Both got stuck in the middle.
To fix the backwards direction of hebrew text (the main reason why I need to root this device so urgently) I tried to update from Settings>about phone>system updates (somone somewhere sayd It worked for him) and RTLAutoPatcher-1.5 that needs the rom to be deodexed and mine is not.
Thank you for your cooperation and interest in my problem.
Edit:
I finally found out what i was doing wrong, I deactivated my antivirus and downloaded superclick again and at it worked!!
Now I'll try to find a way to fix the text direction without changing my rom but if I'll must I'll probably end up chaging the rom
Thank you Wolftou for your help
i think i have the same phone...
which rom do you think to use?

Edit: I have rooted this phone following these directions:

I hope this works for everyone, please leave a feedback. Thanks
Yes, I am successful in rooting dapeng i9877 following Colonelzap instructions.
Plus, I was able to use Link2sd to link apps. Must use Ext2. It won't recognize Ext3(just let everyone knows).
Very Happy...

I have this phone and I dont have many complaints. I sold my Blu Studio 5.3 to buy this one. For a non contract phone its awesome. Do I want a GS3 YES but I dont want the contract with ATT or who ever. So I have their prepaid service, unlimited everything and 1gb of data for $50 a month. AND early next year when the new china phone comes out I will grab that one. I really like the freedom of switching phones.
I do wish I could find a rom now that I am rooted but that may not ever happen.
Root fail
hy, i think i bricked my phone, now it doesnt show anything, have some one got original firmware?
Firmware for this device ?
I also followed the tutorial, but now my phone is soft bricked. It flashes up the logo and then just keeps rebooting. I need to find some firmware for this device. Any help would be great. I would hate to send the phone off to china and pay for them do it, when I have the tools here to do it, but just need the image.
EDIT
I found an IMAGE to sort out the phone for now and it works. The only thing is that you have to change the language back to English or whatever you wish. The LED flash light does not work now, but that's fine. At least it's booting back up now. Everything else works and there's Root, and other tools that come with the ROM.
I used SP Flash with the normal scatter file that comes with SP flash for MTK6577 chipset and hotlinked the files from this archive.
I contacted my seller to see if he can sort me out with a untouched original ROM that's on the device when it comes from the factory.
Anyways here's the link
_ttp://depositfiles.com/files/1oo55o3xd
And a big thanks to the OP Kosha, saved me sending my phone back to seller plus my phone is rooted now.
I followed this guide and it worked but the su permissions seems to be wrong
I have to run titanium backup to fix it every time I boot the phone
it complains about wrong su permissions and it fixes them
...do you know why?

if I could, but not how.
the recovery (power + vol down). it's all in Chinese. the truth I have fear of doing something wrong. if someone translates all the recovery, I loved climbing the rom.
or save someone I have to do, I do enchanted
you can use MTKdroidtools and connect the phone to the PC without using the recovery
it's very easy
thanx

check the link below ma8, it will help u to root ur phone(SCH-R760 non-us-cellular, Generic CDMA)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928566
I have already rooted the phone in hindsight I should have mentioned that in the first post.
Sent from my SCH-R760 using xda app-developers app
Found that you can through ROM Manager. However, it doesn't show my phone's model number. It shows the Epic 4G Touch, which is supposedly similar. Any idea if that will work?
Sent from my SCH-R760 using xda app-developers app
So, nobody has any idea? I'm open to any recovery as long as it works. I can do backups, and flash other ROMs.
Sent from my SCH-R760 using xda app-developers app
I tried most of the ones listed in Rom Manager, and none of them worked.
Well there's a step in the right direction. At least now I know that won't work. Now just to find something that will.
Sent from my SCH-R760 using xda app-developers app
So has anyone found an annswer??
I know I haven't. I'm almost about to give up that my phone will never have ICS, or any newer version.

You're not getting any helpful answers because this is not the RCH-R760 forum. This is the I9100 forum which is different hardware to your device.

Not to dig up an old thread, but I'm still having this same exact issue. I have a US Cellular Galaxy S2 - sch-r760 device that is fully rooted. However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to successfully installed ClockworkMod! I have Rom Manager on the device and I have flashed cmw that way ('galaxys2' option.) But when I try to boot into recovery there is no option to take a backup and even trying to load a custom rom via the GUI on the device, it appears it attempts to boot up and install - but then it immediately restarts and loads the Stock Rom.
I have an update.zip in the root directory. Also I've been having intermittent problems with the Google Play Store/Services... I have to constantly wipe the data from those apps and remove my account and sometimes even factory reset my device in order to get a wifi connection. I'm not sure if this is related to the issues I'm having, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I've changed and even deleted the hosts file as some people have suggested, which works temporarily, but after awhile the date on my phone gets out of wack and the Play Store and even internet connections seem to go in and out.
