I have a rooted x10 mini pro and i flashed it a lot of times. Yesterday I tried to install another rom, but when I tried to start the mobile, it always displayed the Sony Ericsson screen (you know, all black and Sony Ericsson in white). I thought if i let it load a lot of time, it'll run, so I had the mobile on with that screen all night.
In the next morning, when i woke up, I tried to turn on the phone, but it didn't start. A red light appeared three times and it didn't work. Then i connected it to the computer, but the light appeared one time every three seconds.
Ok, I solved it connecting the mobile phone to the charger, not to the computer. The red light appeared a few times more, but then, it turned orange, and i could start it again. Of course, the first I did was start the Recovery and change the rom!!
Hi, my Xperia X10 mini pro is completely dead, it won't turn on, no led turns on when i put it on the charger or connect to the computer. My computer doesn't recognize it, and nothing appears on the screen.
Is there something i can do to ?
Flash tool nor SEUS recognize him, I really don't know what to do.
Can you tell us a little about the history of bricking?
How did it happen, what did you do with the device...
Yesterday I installed MiniCM7 Pro v20, and everything went right, all functions were on and smooth. Today I was installing some apps, and I left them installing, later when I went to see if everything was ready, i found my cellphone turned off. I thought that my battery has been drained, so i put it to recharge, but after 3 hours nothing appeared on my phone. I've already tested my battery with a multimeter, and so the problem isn't in the battery.
I guess this is all.
It could be your usb lead, may be try another.

What is happening with SEUS? You do press the back button while connecting the usb cable and nothing happens? It says that you have the latest software installed and there is no option to install again??
Well isn't the usb i've tried another one, from sony ericsson and still not working. When i tri to connect to SEUS it simply doesn't recognize the cellphone even though i'm pressing the back button.
You said you tested the battery with a multimeter, what was the voltage across the terminals? It may show a charge but still be incapable of booting the phone, however, the voltage may be too low to accept a recharge (lipoly batteries have a safety cutout to prevent charging a discharged batter as they tend to blow up - it could be as much as 3v in some circumstances.) I think sony ericsson read 0% at 3200mv or there abouts and 100% at 4200mv.
If your battery is below 3v then you will need a new one.

Well you said your battery had drained, and IIRC, lithium-ion batteries don't take too well being drained so that might have killed it.
Have you tried plugging a charger into it and leaving for roughly 20 hours?
Well it appeared 3V, but the precision were set so that i couldn't see the number after the dot, i mean, i don't know the "x" in 3.x V
And it is on the charger right now, i'll wait the 20 hours. Hopping it comes back tomorrow.

I have had this problem before, but I waited roughly 20 hours and voila! My phone came back from the dead and now it's working better than ever
Hope your phone will do just as well ^^
I'm really hopping too
Well, unfortunately 20 hours has been passed and nothing changed on the cellphone, is there anything more to do ?
The flash tool that you have tried is the one from Bin4ry?
If not try it, that worked for me as i un-bricked my phone after months of waiting for such tool.
Pay attention to the instructions because some details are tricky

Hi guys/girls/undecideds,
My phone made me a sad panda recently when it stopped booting correctly - on startup it vibrates as it should, the screen lights up, but does nothing more - it does NOT reach the sony-ericsson logo that comes up, and the light goes off. It continues to repeat this loop about once every five or so seconds.
Obviously, not being a total moron (i'm only like, 40% moron), my first thought was to reflash the software, but I can't, because every time I connect the phone to flashtool, it disconnects a couple of seconds later and obviously, the flashing fails.
Can you help me find my smile?
X10 Mini Pro? Are you sure you are in the right forum?
pretty sure this is the xperia mini and mini pro forum, correct me if i'm wrong.
can you help me?
Wait, no, i'm a moron. Have me stoned for my negligence.
Anyway if you can't flash it because it keeps disconnecting, you should have some hardware problems with your phone, for sure.
Hi,
I have been using xperia neo L for quite some time now. I have not faced any problems with it till last week.
My phone got switched off suddenly and it went on restarting continuously.
It switches on shows sony logo and then logo of xperia and it again restarts.
I then reinstalled my phone using the update service.
My phone worked fine again for 2-3 days.
After that again the same thing happened, suddenly got switched off and it gets restarted.
This time logo of sony appears, after that immediately it gets restarted.
So again I did the same thing, i.e reinstalling, worked well again for 2-3 days, after that same problem happened.
This time I cannot hear the vibration while switching on and no logo appears. In fact its not switching on at all.
Red light that blinks while connecting the charger is also not shown
I cant even try for a reinstall this time since while connecting the USB and holding the back key no response is being shown.
Can somebody please help me out??
Since i dont have warranty for the phone, can somebody let me know what the real problem is and how can I fix it??

If your LED doesn't blinks while connecting phone to computer, then there is a chance that battery might have drained out... Blindly charge for an hour.. Press and hold the 'back' button on your phone... Then try flashing the phone... All will be good if LEDs work fine... Else it'a hard brick... If flashing is not working out for you, then you need to go to customer care... Suppose if the phone works now and if you are not rooted and your bootloader is unlocked, then I recommend you to root... Sony Official ICS is not that smooth on Neo L... So root, unlock bootloader because anyway you are out of your warranty... Then install custom kernel ROM.. There are so many custom ROMs for Neo L... Good luck...
I have a sony xperia since 2 years ago. then my brother borrowed, when it is handed back to me, it not work again.
when I try to turn, it did not live. I try to charger, suddenly alive and just to the words "sony ericsson" and then restart again and this happens over and over again.
below is a screenshot of "Emma" that I got from Sony.
i can see green LED when i plug it into PC..
