My brother has a nexus 7, plugged his in and presto, worked immediately. Apparently my machine doesn't have the appropriate file in /system/usr/keylayout and there is no way to paste the key file into the folder without permission.
Anyone know a workaround?
So I recently replaced my hdx 7 with a nexus 7 because I needed otg capabilities. But now I'm really missing being able to play my amazon prime instant videos. Is there any way the video player apk can be ripped out and ported like was done with the HD in GB days?

No. Specific DRM & DHCP limitations prevent this. There are only 3 ways to get AVOD on a tablet. 1. Buy an iPad. 2. Buy a Kindle. 3. buy an Andorid tablet with Android version 4.2 or EARLIER (Chromium webkit kills Flash for good).
I have a nexus 5 mobile, nexus 7 and kindle fire HD. I used to love watching live sports on the various streams available..e.g. cricfree.tv
Lately I am just getting error message on screen saying "Error loading Player : No playable sources found" yet on my desktop PC everything plays fine. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way around the problem ? Many thanks.....
Hi there, I am trying to decide between a Dell Venue 10 7000 (looks great) and a Samsung Tablet S2 .
The Dell ticks all the boxes but I have seen enough people say they cant cast their screen to a Chromecast. I want this feature because I run some video apps such as NBC Sports Live which dont have Chromecast built in and I want to stream them wirelessly on TV. I can do it with my old Nexus 7 2013 beautifully.
Can anyone definitively verify if they can cast screen (not an app) to a Chromecast?
If its not possible how is it when you cast screen to a Dellcast (which I presume I plug into HDMI port on Samsung tv). Is it laggy or perfect?
