Which are the best earphones with built-in microphone for the blackstone?? Those who come with the Blackstone aren't that good...
sorry wrong forum please move this into accessories
Done.
I recommend the Moto s9s (bluetooth); worth every penny i paid for them.
Yes, Motorola SD9-HD has my vote. Comfort, sound volume are first rate. Battery life and Bluetooth range are also excellent. I was amazed at how close the sound comes to my $500 Shure SE530's (well, almost, since the Shure's are in a league of their own!). The bass response was a wonderful surprise. I was also very surprised by how nice Window Media Player on the Touch HD sounded and how well A2DP works between the two. A+ rating from me!
thanks for the answers but I was referring to regular wired-earphones...any suggestions about them?

I think the best solution is to go to your local electronics store and buy a headset adapter w/built-in mic for the iphone, they work on the HD and allow you to answer calls. You can plug in any headphones that you like and use them in your laptop or music player as well.

Those sure look nice!
I'm no sound guru but do know that even tho the frequency range is wider than the skullcandy, that will only be noticeable with certain types of music. And the impedance will definitely play a part as well. Not sure whether the difference in the size of the speaker itself will be all that noticeable on such minute vessels but it might. If you really want to know you could post on an audio forum I suppose. I suspect the largest difference noticeable would be the in-\out ear types and everything else would be minor in comparison.

I couldnt say they are the best as I haven't tried everything out there, but I have given some pointers on what to look for and what's important in most cases.
Subjectively speaking, the SkullCandy iPhone issue is supreme, but I'm sure there are more expensive ones out there

Will this adaptor work for voice dial? I use Microsoft voice control so need voice dial. I tried a pair of Ultimate Ears with mike for the iPhone but you could not use voice dial...
I am looking at standard headphones if I can get an adaptor with mike that works. I have got it down to 4 in the price range I can afford.
Ultimate Ears Metro Fi 2
Ultimate Ears Metro Fi 150
Shure Se 102
Shure Se 110
Any comments on these please........
Hi kjt57,
I'm in the same boat... does your MSVC work with the standard HTC headset? I had to tweak the registry to make it work. Now it needs a long press on the HTC headsetbutton to kick in. I thought that it should work with every 3,5mm headset. Can you please crosscheck with the original HTC?
I'd like to use the Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 200v or the Shure SE210 with MPA-3C adapter, but MSVC is a must. I couldn't find a local dealer who has this earphones for testing.
Cheers

Has anyone tried the Motorola EH20 Stereo Headphones (or any of the EH in-ear microphone type headsets)?
I have the S9s and want something for when I'm wearing my bike helmet.
I just ordered the Sennheiser (CX500) earphones, should they fit in the 3.5mm jack of the Touch HD?
And to anyone who bought custom earphones, did you notice an improvement in audio quality over the bundled ones?

I wanted a set of ultimate ears but I don't believe they make any models that have the mute or capability to answer the phone, like the HTC and some other models designed for phones....anybody have any good suggestions?
I would want some bass out of any pair I own...

The headphones from my girlfriends' Nokia N76 don't fit. Although they're 3.5mm, they're too shallow to fit in the jack.
I don't like In-Ear anymore, so I use the Sennheiser HD 25-II. They are simply amazing!!! I can recommend them to anyone!
I have some Sennheiser CX400 MkII's and they're fricking awesome with the HD. You'll need to make yourself a custom setting in Audioboost, but play around and you'll find your sound.

Sennheiser CX 300B MK II looks and according to reviews is amazing i am strongly considering this at 35$ it's pretty cool,
The sony mh-1 is around 80$ but no reviews at amazon and i may be wrong but Sony earphones are incompatible with s2 right??
My brother has a xperia lww and his earphones are not supported on my s2(or any Samsung phones in fact) likewise my Samsung earphones are all incompatible with his Sony xperia.

In-Ear headphones very confortable are Sennheiser CX - 280 (400,500) because of the volume control which CX - 300 don't have ( yes, there are a few bucks +/- but they worth it ). For those who have a few money extra I strongly recommend klipsch S4i - price / quality +++ !

Klipsch s4i looks like a deal breaker with high build quality and bass effects, at 65 dollars not a pocket driller... Cx 300 is cool but volume control is a definite plus in the s4i....anyway thanks for your heads up i never knew such brands existed, I was thinking of getting an Apple earphone(even though i hate to admit it).

I'm currently using MDR-XB30EX.
Cost: 2k
Pros:
Punchy bass, Mids are clear,
Comfortable to wear, comes with many ear cup sizes,
Carry Pouch so easy to store,
Tangle free Y chord.
Cons:
No inline mic or dedicated keys to pause/stop music
All in all, a very good choice!!
Kidding bro? There are lacks of neo v users.
Personally I use mw600 headset.its Bluetooth, powerful music, fm radio, and you can pair upto three devices.change tracks, play pause, Mic,last call redial etc.got from eBay at 2149 rupees. It really goes a long time with music.personally if you are a music lover than I firmly recommend it.

What bluetooth headsets have you used on Note 3?
Plantronics Voyager Legend
If you are looking for bluetooth headset for phone calls and general non-stereo listening, you can't do better in my opinion than the Plantronics Voyager Legend. Used together with the separately purchased charge carrying case, its the most useful and practical headset I have ever used. I have used many over the years but this combination beats them all! The charging case is awesome and not only protects the headset when not in use, but keeps it fully charged. A most clever and useful combination.

I have always loved the over the ear models.
I work in a fan noisy environment people can't hear the fan noise at all.
I'm using the Motorola S10-HD and love it! I'm actually about to upgrade to the newer model, the Motorola S11 Flex HD. All media audio sounds fantastic, as do phone calls!!

Myself, my first BT was a Sony Ericsson about 10 years ago. Since then I have had a few Blueant BT headsets. Several Q2s a T1 I think and now am waiting to receive a Q3.

I have used these in the past and they both broke. They flex and bend but over time they fatigue and the crack turn into a break.
Sent from my SM-N900P using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
My Blueants all broke, got lost or were stolen when left it in my parked car. Two days ago my new Q2 broke when I shoved it into my coat pocket when catching a flight. The poor thing still worked but was making funny noises when I walked so I had to replace it.
I almost ordered the Plantronics Legend but was put off by it's size and I heard that it doesn't read text messages. I heard that the Q3 was very buggy so I couldn't bring myself to buy it, but this morning I read that Blueant had an update that corrected all previous problems so I went with Q3.
Will find out soon enough how good it is.

Just to clarify, are you asking about a BT headsetfor taking calls OR a BT stereo headset for music/media and maybe calls second?
My original question was referring to the BT used for taking calls. The LG BT would be great for music but not for taking a call while driving etc.
I have tried BlueAnt, Boss, and Plantronics and I still cannot find a better BT than Jawbone.

The LG Tone+ may be a little overkill for simply taking calls, but I don't think it serves that single purpose any worse than most (all?) BT headsets out there.
The answer and volume buttons are easy to find/press and the quality on both ends really is good. You can also take the Bluetooth out of your ear without actually removing the headset (earbud attaches magnetically to the neckband). That is an advantage for me.
I keep mine on under my collar. If I don't want to have a headset on my ear when I'm talking to folks in person, I just take the earbud out and attach it to the neckband. It is all hidden under my collar, so it maintains a polite and professional appearance.
It still may not be the style you are looking for or may resulting in you overspending for music features that you don't need/want, but it performs very admirably as a BT headset for calls.
I think the LG headset is possibly the best at making calls. My brother is a carpet cleaner and he calls me in is noisy van from his LG and it sounds perfect. I'm hesitant to buy them because I don't know if I will like the style. But I am so impressed by the sound quality when he calls me.
The LG tone & LG tone+, I own both. Are the best headsets I've ever owned for both music and phone calls. Also use with my ps3.
Can be paired with multiple devices, at the same time. Long range Bluetooth . 12 hours stand by. 8hours music.

I've used Jawbone ERA , BlueAnt Q2 and Motorola Finiti. The all worked pretty good for me at first then I started getting complaints that people couldn't understand me to various extents. Don't know if it's related to the use of custom ROMs or what.
The one that has worked the best and I'm still using is the Motorola finiti. They are also the only I still have the BlueAnt Q2, lost the Jawbone Era.
I hear good things about Plantronics, I just don't like their bulky designand never tried them.
I have a pair of Motorola S11 Flex HD for running and working out, and have to say I was impressed with their ability to be used with phone calls. Not my first choice for outdoors though, still much better than I expected.
