[Q] Help sgh-i757m keeps hanging and rebooting - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently acquired a samsung i757m(celoxhd) but no matter which ROM i install on it, it keeps heating up and hanging and whenever i run any app and then reboots. It can reboot even when am not using it and just charging it. I've attached a copy of the logcat which was generated when i was running ICS on it. Right now, i installed a ported cm11 from cyanogenmod but it still does reboot all the time , can anyone please help me fix this issue?

Clean install of stock to test; if problem persists, replace battery; if problem persists, replace USB board/port.

Boot loop when using 3G

Hello everyone,
Please help me solving this problem:
My X10i always stuck in boot loop whenever connect to 3G.
I've tried different SIM, ROMs and Google it but still no solution
Thank you!
Still no help?
Waiting...
I have a similar problem with my phone.
Regardless of the rom I'm using, my phone will go into a boot loop. Anywhere from 3 to 10 times before booting fully.
It doesn't seem to be any particular app or action and I don't use a task killer. Sometimes connecting to 3g will crash my phone and boot loop; other times it's attempting to delete an app or replying to a text message. Any sort of daily use can cause my phone to crash into a boot loop, which is usually remedied by taking my battery out, waiting, and putting it back in again. I'm fairly certain it's not an over heating issue because the battery and phone don't feel hot to the touch.
There seems to be no way to know when it will crash, however, it is more likely to do so if it's charging or I have my headphones in.
I've had this problem while using WB 2.2 rom, WB 2.3 rom (all versions) and EWjet 2.3 rom. I've Formatted everything I can, including the SD card.
I'm currently on a fresh install of WB 2.3 v3 and still getting the boot loop issue. This only started happening a month or so ago, so I'm beginning to think that this is a hardware issue and I may need to get my phone replaced.
Other information, I'm on Rogers and have owned my x10 for a little over 1 year, BaseBand 2.1.71, Kernel 2.6.29-00054-g5f01537, Build Number 3.0.1.G.75

[Q] Problem after every restart after rooting my phone

Hello, ever since i rooted my phone and then restarted it a day after my phone has a missing status bar and in storage under usb storage it will say unavailable. I can't install any apps after the restart either.
Does anyone know of any way to fix this problem?
This happens when i root using the cf method and even when i installed the litening rom (don't think i spelt that right).
Please help. Using a bell canada galaxy s ii
wipe and reinstall. if no worky, then it could be hardware issue.
I reinstall the rom (both factory and custom on two occasions) each time and it gets fixed but when i restart the next day it happens again.
I just reinstalled the litening rom without wiping and restarts don't mess with the phone anymore so hopefully that'll fix it.

[Q] Continuos hangs issue

Hello,
since yesterday my Galaxy S2 (summer 2011) started to act wierdly and I am trying to figure out what is the problem.
I was running the latest Sentinel ROM, and I found it "freezed". So I forced restart long pressing the power button. After the restart, I found it freezed again after some (short) time. It also freeze on the boot process.
Apparently in a random way.
So I tried from recovery a factory reset, full wipe, and reinstalling the ROM. Problem still present.
Today I tried logging with ADB logcat, but I can't figure out the issue from the log. I thought a problem with Mali driver shipped with the ROM, but actually it freezes sometime also on boot (so before loading the drivers)
I tried then to flash back the Samsumg original ROM (JB 4.1.2), which apllied nicely. However it freezes also with Sammie's ROM. Also on boot. By example I one time I got the black screen with the writing "Samsung Galaxy GT-9100" getting grey, with some horizonatl black lines. So frozen.
Flashed again with ODIN, again nicely, but it keeps on freezing on boot.
I am clueless. Could it be some issue with the battery? (it's the original, never replaced)
Any help or suggestion appreciated
Thanks
Update:
I tried to flash it back to GingerBread stock by Samsung with Odin. Applied nicely.
It still keeps on randomly hanging :-|

[Q] Gfive G9 restart issues

Hello,
I have an MTK6589 phone GFive G9 phone with 4.2.1 Android version firmware custom added on the phone (not part of the settings coming with the phone). More information about the version is in the attached screenshot.
Generally, the phone is working fine but I have been experiencing issues with random restarts when using the phone. This happens approximately once a day, the phone freezes for around 10s and then restarts and continues working normally. I believe that this is relate do some of the apps I have installed on the phone, but I am uncertain which ones or if this assumption is correct.
I would like to get to the root of the problem, could you help me determine what is causing this issue?
Is there any log files that could help me with this or is the only way to go and start uninstalling random apps until I discover which is causing issues?
Is there any way to determine that the issue is not in the ROM itself?
Thank you,

MY S3 THINKS IT HAS 10 GB OF RAM!?!?!?!? It also crashes and bootloops constantly.

Hi,
I have had my phone in a bootloop for the last week where I could not access download mode. However, I finally managed to flash stock firmware 4.2.2. It booted up fully and I thought it was all solved when... it started crashing and getting into a bootloop which would be fixed by removing and reinserting the battery.
What I noticed when I went into settings and looked at running apps, was that I was using 0.95gb-1gb of the phones 10GB of RAM!!!!!! Obviously this is not the real amount of the i9300's ram (which is 1GB).
I am now suspecting that I have some sort of problem with my Kernel....?? I am also guessing that the crashes and bootloops come from the phone trying to access an amount of ram which it thinks it has, but is simply not there.
Currently I am in a bootloop where I can access recovery (CWM) for a second and it immediately crashes and reboots. Same for download mode.
Any help is appreciated. I've not found any, but if you happen to know of any other thread which solved this problem, please link. Thanks in advanced.
