I recently moved over to T-Mobile with my resound. I think I can handle the low data rates as I’m near wifi most of the time. However, is there a ROM that makes things better for me? Phone is currently stock.

not really for data speeds any way...what you get now on t-mobiles edge is what youll get on any rom as of right now...there is roms you can get that go faster than stock and being s-off does help you alot
I went with Evervolv version: 4.0.0b1
I'm really happy with it so far.
Get 220kbps on Edge all over town so at least that's something. Guess I can decrease my data plan ;P

ive gotten more than that... on tmobile best i got was 2.6 mb's download and 1.5 upload

I got a very strange htc is a demo version. You can not use the rom because fires in August only presentation capabilities. I will install another rom. I am not able to do the root and use ClockworkMod Recovery.

Hello,
I also got such a demo flyer with the same specs. I can access through adb and i tried to flash 3 different CWMs for the normal flyer. But they don't start, the demo flyer gets stuck at the HTC logo. Does somebody have an idea what to do?

My question (and i apologize for the very noob question) is can I flash a JellyBean ROM such as Evervolv from this state? I use an HTC amaze as my main phone, but for some reason this particular device is a bit confusing to me probably since I didn't go through the process of rooting it myself. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
If you unlocked you bootloader, then S-Off, have CWM installed, you're good to go! Good luck
just make sure you are not flashing a honeycomb or Jelly bean rom on a ginerbread hboot or vice versa
Hi guys, I have been having this problem for over 2 days now and i am very worried. I live in Brazil and bought this T-mobile HTC one S phone from USA. Then it was locked. I followed some threads and unlocked the phone. I also have been using without any problem until i saw a thread about updating to 4.2.2. I tried updating but i was foolish, i forgot something very very important. My phone was (and still is S-ON) but instruction made it clear that it should be S-OFF and ever since, I have bee in this mess.
I've been reading lots of threads and subjects concerning this matter. I tried fastboot and hasoon and you name it but to no avail. I need this phone as i will be travelling on Monday. Is there anyway or anybody can guide me step by step or ask questions so that i can work this out???
I will donate or even pay to get this phone fixed and back to either stock or 4.2.2. ASAP.

ok..I think it's a dev phone..but I still don't know which version of recovery to use..International, maybe?
i would suggest making a stock backup and then at least trying the international one.
i've seen a lot of differences between the verizon and sprint builds, but the international ones have all just been listed as international, i did notice that skydragon specifically has an international asian version though, maybe that could lead you in the right direction?

The recoveries are set up as Sprint, Verizon, and GSM. Which one of those three are you?

Hello, i want to reuse my old Evo 3D GSM.
What is the best costum rom that I can install and that has install instructions. Looks like that HTC realy wants you to brick you phone, this HBOOT, s-on, off, radio version, etc... is a big nonsence.

I agree with you. I also need custom rom that works on my htc. So far i found three threads that i was interested to download. Badly, those links they provided were dead. I hope there is someone who is kindly enough to give us enlightenment.
Yeah I've found 1 ROM that works negalite blurom. I'd really like to try out some others tho.
