CMX - Modded CyanogenMod 10.2 UNOFFICIAL for LG Optimus L9 p769
This is a project I've been working on for some time and finally I feel like it's ready to be released. Originally the main idea behind it was to set things up the way I like, to have a long lasting high performance top notch gaming ROM, but it evolved into an even greater project over time and I couldn't be any happier with the way this ROM turned out. This is my heavily modified unofficial CyanogenMod build from source. Use at your own risk. I can't be held accountable for the damages you cause to your own device, I am not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone. Take precautions beforehand to avoid any problem.
Only for P769 & P760 variants of the L9, the ROMs are separate. Do not attempt to flash on any other variant of the device. I don't own a p760, so I can't offer much support for that version of the ROM. I can't guarantee the p760 version will have the same features, I'm not even too sure about the kernel's features of if it's stock cm10.2 kernel. p760 users may switch to a different kernel if they like, but p769 users already have a highly optimized kernel to work with. I don't have my build environment set up for p760 so I modded a prebuilt cm10.2 for you guys.
The phone bootloader has to be unlocked with correct recovery installed.
Please avoid discussing general unlocking, rooting, and other matters unrelated to development issues or progress in this thread. Stay on topic, otherwise your questions will go unanswered.

Use google. Better download limits.

Dev-Host gave me too many issues and I noticed that overtime they delete the files I host without my consent.
I've uploaded the ROM to mega just now.

Something I felt that I needed to rant about.. ⬇
I really don't want to be asked how to unlock the bootloader and have my inbox spammed about it.. it's not easy to unlock, I can understand that, but you will get the same exact response. Follow the guides, please? Thank you.
This is happening waaaayyyy too often and it gets somewhat irritating. There are a bunch of guides for it already, please search and read and just try it the way it is explained in the guides, just follow instructions carefully because you have to be precise.
I'm a bit annoyed at the moment. I'm not mentioning names, I'm not trying to sound mean. I'm just tired of the same question, I really can't offer any help with it. All I can do is direct you to the guides.
Sent from my LG Optimus L9 running CMX using Tapatalk

This will probably be the last rom I install on this phone (I just ordered a Google Nexus 5) and so far it's my favorite.
Highest Antutu benchmarks I've gotten from this phone with any rom, tethering works, camera works...etc
Damn good job Bro.
Oh yeah btw Leo, how do I unlock the bootloader?....................trololololololo!!!!!!!!111oneeleven
*pelvic thrust*

Woo lol xD
I wish this device wasn't so difficult to unlock.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the ROM and glad everything is working fine

Woohoo, downloading it already!... When it finishes uploading I guess
Seriously, since you posted on twitter that there was a chance of a release, I've checked every 20min!
Thanks guys
Edit: I'm guessing its recommended to use the latest GApps from goo.im?
Just adding a Torch.apk that works with this ROM, credits go to DT
Yes sir they work fine for me so far

Didn't boot for me, left it for about 15min... Checked MD5 and its good.
Do I need to pair a kernel up with it through recovery?
Re-downloading ROM and GApps just incase some funny business is going on
Its not booting for me either

No luck here either!

I got it to boot by flashing Franco along with it, it will probably work with others too but I'm not too sure, I just used Franco because it was included in the last release.
Good luck
Edit: torch toggle doesn't work by default, I installed the AOKP torch.apk and it still isn't working, anybody have any ideas?

thanks, I forgot about the toolkit.
pushed the kernel over and flashed, and now it's booting.
So no one has got it to load on a different kernel than Franco? That's weird.

Running beautiful for me, its the smoothest feeling ROM I've had running on my Nexus 4, plus, now it has some awesome features
Top marks guys.
only franco kernel compatible
I think I know the answer to this, but is it possible to just wipe cache and dalvik coming from the liquid smooth alpha rom? Probably not right?
I've just got things set up really good on the alpha build.
And I take it you just flash the ROM then immediately flash Franco kernel in order to get the ROM booting?

Couple of bugs to note, for me anyway.
1. Home button doesn't work. On move it should show previews of home screen by default when pressed. I got nothing. I tried switching it to app drawer, still nada.
2. In the quick settings, pressing the settings tile does nothing.
Love the extra customizations. Smooth as you like.

my old dx is running the liquid kang, and it's awesome. i can't wait to have it on the n4 too

Yeah I seen that. It was those settings I used last time when I modified the DPI only to have my Play Store not to be able to connect to the Servers at all anymore. I could search for apps, but once I clicked update or install, Error cant connect to server. Not even clearing the Store Cache and Data did it work again. Even trying a whole new ROM, going to Baked and then back to PKA, worked. I ended up having to wipe everything and start from complete scratch.
I went into the settings and got the dual panels working. It has accepted the DPI change via the edit and still working. I would rather take a longer route than test my luck again with the settings. At least I know it works and I can still update and get apps if I want. :good:

Nice one OP, I have been on this rom from the other site where your listed as a dev with a bunch of your roms. I was hoping it would make its way here for broader use. I really like it so far.
ROM is crazy fast and smooth and battery still seems up to par. Trying to figure out what's wrong with it, but can't find anything. Something must've been sacrificed for this performance! Great job!!
Is there a way to turn off NFC. Every time I turn it off it comes back on after leaving the settings screen. Tnx for this ROM.

i was the first post in Q&A and so I will take advantage and do it here too.
for a newcomer here, this has been as solid as anything else here. lots of KEWL bells and whistles.
stupid me tried to apply a theme to this and threw me into bootloop, the only way out was to flash something else. was a temporary fix though. gonna flash back tonight the newest.
updates through GOO.IM was a smart move Dude. seemless and super easy for the flasher/updater.

Armyboy is right. The themes are backwards and forwards compatible. The only problem that should arise is sometimes certain portions of the theme will be missing if it was originally made for CM10 and your trying it on CM10.2 and vice versa.

Its actually a pretty old Rom @DerTeufel1980 has been working on this for a very long time, It is just such a great ROM that I have used on 3 devices, and I started compiling it for my Herc since it wasn't available, Flash addict and compile addict here . Your Hardware is basically the same as a Hercules T989 we share Kernel Repo's. And @Cl3Kener has been making really good Kernel's for the Hercules which he had no problem adapting to the variants. I decided to help and compile it for a few Devices so that more can enjoy this terrific ROM and Kernel.
But its a really good new addition to this dev area true. I do not have any of the device's I am compiling this for accept my herc but will do my best to help with any problems.
Trying this, thanks :good:
Can anyone direct me to an appropriate radio?
I have tried this rom on my Captivate way back... this is hell of a great rom.
Trying this on my note one... will post back if any thing hits me while testing it!

must have been my phone then. I applied the teal/orange theme for CM10. it changed, then went to reboot for full implementation and would not boot back. just kept looping boot up. it was late and didn't have time fiddle after 3 attempts. flashed a backup

You have to enable dev options by hitting about phone in settings I think 8 times. You most likely have something corrupt on your sd best fix I believe is back up everything you want to save and format the sd. Then reboot and take a few pictures and open gallery. Then copy your stuff back that you wanted to save. 4.3 is a little picky if you look google search 4.3 gallery crash, or look through other device dev forums allot of people have the gallery issue on 4.3

What is OneDroid:
OneDroid is a custom ROM for Nexus 5, based on CyanogenMod. It's always up to date with latest commits directly from CM repos, optimized for best battery life and performance and offers a lot more, like pre-installed Google apps, screen recording, lots of tweaks, etc.
What is the aim of this ROM:
I made this ROM for the following reasons:
1. To provide updates as soon as code gets committed, so that you're always up to date
2. Remove features which aren't necessary, so that you get a ROM which doesn't have a lot of crap in it
3. Fix bugs and optimize the code, so that you get the most stable ROM
4. Add my own features, like custom tweaks, OTA updates and more, so that you get the best experience
Small favor:
Please don't ask for ETAs. I am studying in school (final year, ending in March) so I really can't provide exact release date for a particular build every time, at least not before March. I'll be trying my best to push out stuff as fast as I possibly could, however. I hope you guys enjoy using my ROM!
ROM Signature Image specially made for XDA (thanks Atrax_)
Features:
Based on latest CM commits, 4.4.2 KOT49H
Unsecured boot.img
Deodexed and Zipaligned
Bloatware free
Pre-rooted with latest Superuser v1.0.2.8
Pre-installed latest Google Apps
Pre-installed latest Xposed
Pre-installed latest Busybox
Fully optimized for battery life and speed (this thing flies!)
Custom init.d and build.prop tweaks related to VM, internet, ext4/mounts and more for smoothness and performance
All latest /system applications
Root Browser as default file manager, Greenify for even more battery life
Inbuilt Flash Player
GPU UI rendering
Most stable CPU governor
Custom kernel with OC support, Button Light Notifications (BLN), lots of wake options (like sweep2wake, sweep2sleep, doubletap2wake), etc

FAQ:
Q. The ROM has two dialer apps, is it a bug or an error?
A. No. The ROM comes with two dialer apps: One is the stock, AOSP dialer app and one is the Google dialer app. The stock dialer app comes without Google's new Caller ID feature so I have supplied Google dialer along with the stock AOSP dialer app, just in case someone wants to use that feature. There is no way to have that feature in stock dialer app since the code for that feature isn't open source.
Q. The video recorded by screen recorder doesn't play at times, what's wrong?
A. Its BETA.
Q. Whenever I am using 4G/LTE, the signal bars don't show any activity, does that mean LTE/4G doesn't work?
A. No, it's a glitch/bug in CM code. When you have turned on LTE/4G and don't see any network indicators, it does not mean 4G/LTE isn't working.
Q. Can I install a particular build on top of another (like, flash BETA 13 over 12) without wiping anything (dirty flash)?
A. Yes
Q. What is the name of the iconpack used in the picture at the top? Also, the wallpaper link please?
A. The iconpack is called ClickUI. Wallpaper here

There's no clear answer: Some say it's perfectly fine since the ROM is for a certified device, some say it's against Google policies. If Google tells me to remove it, I'll do. Until then, Google Apps will come pre-loaded.

OP, do you have sound in video recording? Is the camera app stable? Other than that i like the idea of this rom, pure stock AOSP, no mods
@Cocolopes
Yes it's based on SuperNexus and has some of those features, I will list exactly which ones in OP later today but no it won't receive SuperNexus changes.
Edit: OP updated
@Mashed_Potatoes
I haven't tested it yet, I will test shortly and let you know. As far as camera goes, it's been working spot on for me. I don't use any scene modes or whatnot but as for just using it to generally snap a pic of something - it works fine.
Edit: Audio in video is working, I found a bug with video camera though, see Bug List post #3.

Edit: OP updated
@Mashed_Potatoes

I'd try either turning assert on or off in recovery (if possible).
Will sort the problem in next build.
Edit: As this was based on SuperNexus, for the next build, should I base it purely on AOSP or continue using this base?
