HoverNote brings Galaxy Note multitasking features to tab 10.1

Just found out about hovernote. As a student who spends many hours researching I always dreamed of having a multi screen like the note 10.1 , unfortunately I bought the p7500 before the note came out.
Spent a few weeks trying to research onskreen cornerstone but that didn't go very far
Then I found out about floating apps. Apps that float on any screen and make multitasking so much easier
You can find it in the play store

This isn't the same kind of multi-tasking that is available on the Galaxy Note.
I thinks is better. With standout being an open source now there are many opportunities. Floating apps will take Android to the next level. There is floating videos, floating Facebook and l bet more will come. The developer who created software got hired by google recently so expect true multitasking abilities out soon .

There's actually quite a few good floating apps available
You should have a look at aircalc, darkcalc, performance monitoring (by chainfire) and popup browser. Floating notes is also great

I use both hovenote & aircalc. They make working so much easier. Only thing I am still looking for is a floating calendar (like stock Samsung).

Btw, I'm running Ultimarom 7.2.3,perseus kernel, 4.1.2, i9300-T.
Get an average of 8-9 hours of usage. Mostly use Internet for browsing, texts, minimal video watching and hardly play games.

[Q] Is media server drain dependent on ROM? If so, share your experiences.

As title says, does the media server drain while listening to offline music dependent on the ROM we are using? If so, then what are your results using different ROMs?

Hey mate, not sure you're in the right place? It says you sent that from a nexus 4...
Anyway, I find that music playing drain is dependent on the music player itself rather than the ROM. For example, for me, doubletwist used approximately double the battery usage per hour as Apollo music player. Have a go with a few different players, if you're concerned with battery then find a minimal player and test.

Hey there.
I'll try out music players, and waiting for others to reply.
As for the phone thing, I have both of them

I dont think so its rom dependent..
Every rom has this
However ... wid gb stock rom mediaserver used to run only for few seconds that to wid percentage (that was quite good n useful)
Bt then since ics... it has been pathetic...just do some modification in gallery and bang the phone starts heating up due to mediaserver running in background... also accompanied by battery drain.. :/

Zenfone 5: Is it good to use with a 3rd party battery saving app?

I'm finding the battery life unsatisfactory. If I were to install a 3rd party battery saving app would it conflict with the Asus Android OS?
If not, are there any suggestions as to which is the best one to use?
