Hi at all! I updated my GT-I9300 to Android 4.3. I use a OTG Cable to connect controllers. I tried with PS3 controller: it works! But Xbox 360 Controller don't work. On my brother's Galaxy S4 works. Why on S3 does not work? Any solution?
I have stock rom, no root...
Please, give me concrete answers, not timewaster...
Same issue here, but i have a rooted S3...
Nobody knows?
Same here. Using CM11 M8.
Any solution?
Does your kernel support this controler?

i posted in the main forums Q&A then later realized that i should probably post it here since it relates to the galaxy tab....
does anyone know if you buy the usb adapter, if you can plug in a usb game controller and have it work with emulators? i want to get a decent gamepad for playing games...if anyone can help shed some light on this...
thanks in advance!
depends on the controller. You would need the custom rom for ps3 and xbox but the wii works fine. most PC gamepads work fine too with adapter.

I use a logitech dual action usb controller on a completely stock galaxy 10.1 and it works perfectly.

Wiimote + Wii Classic Controller works great.
SNES9x EX supports it natively. 90% of my tab usage time has been A Link to the Past.
I'm currently running CM7.1 and really liking it, but it doesn't (and as far as I can gather it never will) support the TV-out adaptor. I'm looking for a ROM that will let me use a sixaxis controller with TV-out so I can play emulators on the big screen. Anyone had any luck with this?
Any stock ROM, as Sixasis supports stock Samsung ROMs since October 19 (version 0.3.2).

Wow, I did not know that! I guess I'll be heading back to stock!
Thanks for the headsup!
I got SGS 2 with rooted stock rom KF3 (2.3.3)
With sixaxis app it looks like everything is ok (I got the message: successfully configured bluetooth)
I successfully changed the bluetooth adress on my PS3 controller with sixaxis pair tool.
when I hit the connect button on the controller, the 4 lights are flashing but I don't get a connection. everything looks good, but I can't connect the devices.
anybody got an idea?
I got a question and i hope someone can help me with it
Yesterday i got my Snakebyte iDroid:con controller and i wonderd if i can use it with sixaxis. I tried it but i can't get it to work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
If it works do i have to connect it the same way as a Ps3 controller (through usb) or does it work out of the box (because the controller is made for Android). If i have to do it the ps3 way then i have to buy an usb adapter for my Tab because it doesn't have a normal usb entrance. That's the reason i bought a Android bluetooth controller because i can't connect a ps3 controller with out an adapter.
Hopefully someone can help me with this. Thank in advance
Nobody :crying:
Hi XDA users!
I bought last week an XBOX 360 Wired controller. My bro. have an Xperia Z, and the controller with my brother's Z working well.
I decided to use it with my SII, but when I plug it via OTG it keeps blinking and doesn't respond :S
Anyone knows why? Please help me how can I use the controller?...
(I tried a simple non-analog controller and it is worked, so the OTG cable is good.)
Did you Google this problem?

Yes I did. Several times. But I didn't find any solution
I just got my Oneplus X and was really excited that the installation of CM13 (cm-13.0-20160511-NIGHTLY-onyx.zip) went very fast and smooth. Unfortunately the phone doesn't seem to recognize my gamepads (PS3 controller with USB OTG cable and Logitech Rumblepad 2, also with USB OTG cable). Both controllers work fine with the same cables on my Galaxy S4 (GT-I9515, stock ROM).
So my question: is there a way to add/enable gamepad support (driver) to CM13?
(I had the same problem some time back with a Moto G 2nd Gen - stock ROM. At the time the answer was, that Motorola didn't include the driver in their OS and the DEVs here at XDA couldn't get it compiled. I really hope that with CM13 it's possible.)
Thanks!
In the mean time I tried the AOKP nightlies (aokp_onyx_mm_nightly_2016-05-09.zip), same result. None of the two gamepads is recognised. :crying:
I also tried the PS4 (DualShock 4) controller, still nothing.
Try an app called sixaxis
I too would love to get my PS3 controller working with my Oneplus X using USB and not bluetooth - tried both CM13 and stock ....any ideas ??

Sixaxis doesn't work with Marshmallow anymore. Android changed something in the Bluetooth stack and the Sixaxis team didn't release an update yet...
