I just bought new phone and when I login with google account into google play sotre I get that error.
I tried to clear the cache and it did not work, same goes with deleting and re-adding the account.
I have no idea what I have to do with APN setting since I cant edit the one and only setting there.
It doesnt work on Wifi or mobile data...
Help, please...

I did not found that clear button...
However, I woke up and Google Play application updated itself, and problem dissapeared. Everything works now.

just press that proxy and clear then save it

Anyone.. need helps here. I tried to change my Google account. In 1.6 I usually go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Google Apps -> Click Clear data button.
But I couldn't find mine here... Please help anyone.. I think to reflash but afraid that will not solve the problem too.
I already tried to flash but not wipe all the data. But still no luck.

Apparently there is NO Clear Button in Google Apps app like before at 1.6 . I already did factory reset my phone but still not there.
So how can I change my google account just like 1.6 did? This is weird.
Btw apparently GTalk App is VERY RELATED to Market App. So never touch it. (I wipe the Gtalk data and my market won't work anymore). Cannot find solution yet if we unintentionally touch the GTalk.
Another thing, Setup Guide app is IMPORTANT to GMail app to add another account. I removed it (Setup Guide app) before in order to optimize my phone but my Gmail app keep crashing when adding another account.

i use the omega 9.1 rom for about a week or so now and it's working great.
today i've done a nand backup and flashed paranoid android, and restored my backup after data+cache+dalvik wipe.
my only problem is that i get "error processing purchase df-bpa-09" whenever i try to DL an app from the market(free\paid).
i've cleared market cache and even uninstalled updates, disable and enable my google sync , fixed permissions, changed locale to english and rebooted sevral times.
*i have also tried via WIFI\3G, and to DL from the web with my acount.
but the exact same problem persists.
is there anything i can do before flashing the rom again ?

Clear Google Services Framework data, Google Play data, reapply GMail sync. Reboot.
thx for all of your quick answers just removed my google acount, re add it with sync OFF and cleared Google Services Framework data, Google Play data and rebooted and thats the one who solved it.

i hope it'll remain as i "fixed" it earliar for about half an hour and the problem got back. for now i'll change to solved

how do one remove the google account? there is always a need for a google account in the system.

There is always need but doesn't mean you can't remove it.
Settings| Accounts and Sync
Hit your Google account and hit remove account.
You can add it back. And problem solved.
For me clearing the data of Google service doesn't work.
Even with reboot.
Remove account works.

Hello everyone. Me and my few friends in Pakistan are facing gmail sync issues. The sync is not working and hence the updated emails are not showing. Is this just me or others are facing the same issue? The youtube is being blocked over here so does it has to do something with gmail app?

what about push messaging in other applications like facebook messenger? is it working? what you can do is go to settings >applications manager> all applications> gmail and clear cache and data . or in the worst case you can go to settings >accounts> Google and remove account . after that log in again using the same account .these steps should solve your problem

Cleared cache and data, no use. It says waiting for sync but email not picking up. I guess it is a server issue with our region.

hello ,I suggest you to do it again the secont that you recommended jaidev.s (go to settings >accounts> Google and remove account . after that log in again using the same account )
synchronizer will work once all , I've tried too many times , currently does not recognize Account on play store ,after the above everything was okay...
Google had problems earlier on today with servers, so may be linked to that?

I finally got mine working:
What I think got it to work was going into System Settings/Data Usage then hit the menu button and make sure Auto-Sync data is checked on.
Then I went to Apps/All/Email/Force Stop/Clear Data
Then I Added the Account back in and it worked!!
Just in case, I had also previously done the following (but unsuccessful until I did the above):
I've updated the ROM, removed/re-added accounts, updated GAPPS, Revoked access/Signing in again in Google/Account/Authorizing Applications

I'm having problems with facebook on xperia s.
yesterday, the check-ins and nearby locations are working perfectly..but last night, it no longer post a location stamp together wih my status, i can't check in, no places nearby showing and i can't add a new place.
i tried a different account on the same phone and it worked perfectly.
i did mot change any settings on my account. Been googling answers but just couldnt find any.
my GPS is on, google location is on... As i said using a diff fb account worked perfect when searching places nearby and checking in... Tried reinstalling fb but didnt help...
Would appreciate the help so much!
By the look of it its an issue with your fb account and not the phone since it works with another account.

I checked all settings on my account and all seems ok.
It just suddenly stopped working.
I badly need this service from fb due to disability issues.
Would there be anyone who experienced this issue and was able to have it fixed?

Goto fb from pc. In apps delete all Xperia apps. In your mobile delete all fb, fbixp accounts. Clear their data and cache. Reboot.
Setup all over again.

I tried removing the xperia app from fb..
and even had to reset the whole phone but nothing has changed. i don't know why on a friend's fb logged in to my xperia, nearby places are being displayed and she can check in without issues.
This is really frustrating for me
Check your settings on PC opening the desktop site. Probably there is the problem.

Hi i have installed the Omega ROM from this site, i have only found one problem so far... i cant download anything from the Google 'play store'

go to settings, apps, play store, then clear data and cache. Then go to settings, accounts, and remove your google account. then re set it up and see if that works.
