i currently have an att htc one x plus on metro pcs its unlocked and s-on
i have twrp recovery and all i want to do is flash a newer radio zip
is it possible with s-off and is so whats the best file to use

Hi i would like to download the hboot 1.49.0008 ( rogers gsm) i have serched the net for it and cant find it i only found the .49.0007 (european) can i flash this even if i have a rogers evo3d ? I dont want to blick it so i hope that somebody can help me with this im currentle on ota hboot 1.5 , 3.007 i am unlocked and rooted with s-on i know that i can s-off this hboot version but cm9/10 dont work with this hboot version its the main reason why i want hboot 1.49 xxxx to s-off and be able to flash all roms and kernels

Hello Guys...i recently bought an htc rezound and in few days arrives here in greece europe.....i own an htc one x and sensation xe so i know how to s-off etc....the thing is that i don't know is about gsm network coverage.....i read somewhere that with the latest official ota there is a an option to work as a gsm phone....if there is an option it can work without s-off or i need to put a custom rom that is global ready?
u just need to unlock the bootloader [if its not already and want to flash non-original rom]
install the rom with global
and don't forget flash the kernel manually cos S-ON wont let it flash
use adb to flash it or via bootloader
You can just install leaked global RUU. No need to unlock bootloader, flash rom or kernel.

*Please note, I use T-Mobile when reading this.
1. Is there any way to update to 4.2.2 without rooting? I do not have an active Verizon sim, as I am on T-Mobile.
2. If I root my phone, and add a ROM, can I still use my T-Mobile sim? Will I lose any features? Will I have to re-add the T-Mobile API Settings?
3. Do I need to be S-Off to add a ROM or can I just Unlock Bootloader/Root w S-ON and add ROM?
4. Will I lose the 'Beats By Dre' Software if I use a ROM?
5. Will moonshine do S-Off and Unlock bootloader or just s-off? Can i load a rom right after using moonshine only?

1 no you have to root and s-off perferablly since its so much easier to flash
2 ? just need a gsm rom i believe someone said only verzion lte band many some other hspa feqs so im not sure)
3.no you dont but need either to flash boot.img via fastboot everytime or flahs boot.img viaflash image gui everytime or you can go s-off and just flash one zip and done ( btw you must extract the boot.img from the zip and flash it manually via s-on) <<< and that blows bad buddy slow as hell.
4depends if you pick a rom with beats or not.(aosp does not have beats by dre and some sense roms dont either they go with acid audio or with sony so choose wisely)

I had purchased HTC One Mini but it was rooted, I need to unroot the device. I did S-Off and changed the CID to 11111111.
Now I am looking for RUU (GSM based) would be good if I get Europe image because I am using GSM based network.
HTC Dev has Cingular image, can I install this ROM to my device? would my SIM be working on it or not?
