[Q] HELP: bricked Galaxy Player 4.2 - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

I've been trying to get a custom ROM on my Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 for hours today and seemed to have bricked the device.
After unsuccessfully attempting to install both the 10.1 and 10.2 cyanogen mods per the following instructions:
http://theunlockr.com/2013/06/22/how-to-root-the-samsung-galaxy-player-4-2/
http://theunlockr.com/2013/06/22/how-to-flash-a-custom-recovery-on-the-samsung-galaxy-player-4-2/
http://theunlockr.com/2012/08/29/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-on-an-android-device/
, I attempted to install a custom ROM using these directions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2361898
Unfortunately, when I tried to revert the device to stock Android 2.3, I kept getting the error Complete(Write) operation failed.
Now when I try to turn on the device, it forever stays on the Samsung logo and I'm unable to do anything.
How can I fix this? Thanks in advance for your help!

I can help you

You have tried to flash ROMs that are not meant for your device... You need to flash back to stock.
Regarding your error:
-Have you installed the drivers or KIES?
-Did you ensure that your device was in download mode when you connected it to your pc?
-If you've done both of the above, have you checked if the COM:[your port no. here] appears on any part of the ODIN window in a blue background?
For future reference, there are no cm ROMs for the 4.2 and you should not try flashing any ROMs that are meant for other devices.

This is the original galaxy tab section. You may get better results in the tab 2 section.

As mentioned, you really need to ask this in the Galaxy Tab 2 forums. However, quick answer: the stock ROM will overwrite recovery when it boots. If you install a custom recovery on your Tab 2, you MUST start the tablet in recovery immediately after ODIN finishes the flash. If you let it reboot, then the stock recovery will be restored.

[Q] my S3 i9300 got stuck in the cyanogenmod 11 boot loop

yesterday I decided to install cm 11 on my i9300 not with odin but from their site where you can download an exe then connect the phone to the computer then the magic begins (PS: i don't understand anything about flashing rome this is my first attempt so i need a simple solution i can work with )
while cm was installing on my phone something called clockwork recovery mode appeared so I foolishly pressed reboot system after that the mobile rebooted and got stuck in the boot loop
someone help me please!
I tried to follow some tutorials so I downloaded odin 3.04 but the phone didn't get connected. :crying:
Sounds like you stopped it before it installed the rom.
Either flash back to stock or download cm m10 from here, put on your sd card and flash with recovery.

Bricked Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 TRIED EVERYTHING, BUT CANNOT UNBRICK. pls help :s

So I recently got my hands on an international Samsung Galaxy S3. The device is bricked. I've already had a lot of experience with unbricking this device and I've always done it succesfully. However this time everything fails.
The situation: Currently running Clockworkmod Recovery 6.0.4.6, which is (more or less) the latest for this device. I've got an 8 GB micro SD-card, so flashing custom roms should work just fine. Unfortunately though, this is not the case. I've tried several roms already: cyanogenmod 10, 11, 12, 13, Blisspop, Blekota, Revolutionary android HD, S5-rom, Archidroid, Archiport, ParanoidAndroid... and they all fail to be flashed correctly through CWM. Some of them come with the Aroma-installer. The wizard launches succesfully and I've managed to install Archiport and Blekota with it. At the end of the wizard I get the prompt that the rom installed correctly. But when I reboot the device afterwards... still bricked!
I've also tried to install roms via Odin (3.07, 3.09, 3.10 .... ) but none of them installed right. Odin says "NAND Write start...." and then "FAIL!" Everytime, or Odin just crashes.
The only clue I can think of is Clockworkmod that's causing all these conflicts... I've had more succes in the past by using TWRP or PhilzTouch. So I tried to flash these other recoveries via Odin, which fails every time with every version of the recovery. I also tried to flash it using CWM. Here I get the message that the zip installed correctly, but when I reboot into recovey again I'm still running CWM.
Like I said, I've tried EVERYTHING. It's very unusual that NOTHING works.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
Brick in what sense????

Galaxy S7 bricked after flashing CF-autoroot (Bootloop)

Hi and merry christmas,
i got a new Galaxy s7 und tried to install a custom ROM, so I flashed CF-Autoroot and ODIN gave me a green light so that one should have passed well. Then after a reboot i hard-shutdowned it because it got stuck in the samsung animation. The result is a bootloop. To fix that I wanted to get back so stock and I tried to flash the sock ROM and all that stuff, but ODIN gives me en error - it failed. KIES doesn't work either and I have no idea how to unbrick it now, so hopefully someone here can tell me what to do to get it running again. btw the goal is just Stock system now.
Thanks, Chris

Uninstall Kies and install Samsung Smart Switch.
You can download from here :
http://www.samsung.com/global/download/smartswitchwin/
And do as is shown in this video :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QhJngOuLQ4
If you still have the problem , flash again your phone with odin and this time flash also with pit file . Search on the internet for your model .
And also do Wipe Cache Partition .
Good Luck
