Hi All,
I'm trying to copy old photos/videos from a Nokia phone to an Xperia Neo V phone, but I'm unable to get them to show up in gallery.
Xperia is running stock ICS, I've copied files to the SD into the DCIM folder (also tried the pictures/video folders) tried copying through file explorer and through Sony Bridge. I've tried deleting the data on the Gallery apps (both Android and Xperia).
I can see the files when browsing through Astro but they do not show up in the gallery apps.
Any ideas on how to get this to work?

have you tried to mount/unmount sd card, after you copy them?
Yes, tried that, i also tried restarting the phone but no images showed up
they are jpegs I assume?
use rescan media from the playstore
Try clearing cache and data (in Gallery's app info)
Thanks for the feedback guys, i tried all of that. I've deleted the .thumbnail folder, deleted the cache folders from android folder, used rescan nothing worked.
What i ended up doing is taking a backup of the card then formatting it, deleting the data from the both gallery apps and the media service, restarting the phone with the empty card, then copied the files back to the card which seemed to work.

no problem, and yes thats right before my Xperia Neo V, i had the x10i (that big one) and had the same problem on Wolfbreaks v6 rom

Hi
I sometimes face this problem with Neo V , i see no content in the GALLERY and MEDIA but when i restart the phone then it updates the media gallery so now i want to get rid off restarting the phone for the same. Any suggestion?
Hey there,
everytime I want to transfer some files to my internal sd, the explorer or the copy process stucks. After reinstalling the drivers it works once good but then I get the same issue. I know there´s UMS app, but I want to use my internal sd as well. Is there any fix, trick or something?

I dnt know what Ive done last night
But all the files in my internal storage are disappeared.
I mean the image file.
So any way to find the file out?

PS.Never ask me to use MSC mode instead of MTP, as my photos are save in internal memory

Hello everyone, i got a problem
i just bought a new phone (huawei ascend g630). I rooted it with towelroot.
today i opened my gallery and there where no pictures
i opened whatsapp, and i couldnt send stuff like pictures.
and i could only make a picture when my external sd card was inside my phone.
so it looked like my entire internal storage was gone, but with the app: root browser. i could see everything inside my internal storage.
so i think my internal storage cant connect to anything???
there is no cyanogenmod for my phone yet / cant find firmware for phone
i also cant find a tread about this.
I hope someone can help me!
