About to sell phone, am I safe? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey everyone,
I picked up a Note 3 today and I'm trying to prep the Note 2 for Swappa. I reformatted the SD card and did a factory reset in TWRP. It appears all my apps and data are gone, but are they REALLY gone? Am I safe to go ahead and sell the Note 2, rooted with TWRP/Beans 23 installed, so long as it appears all my apps and data are removed? I may sound paranoid, but I know how easy it is to recover data on hard drives, even when supposedly deleted. If there's anything else I need to do before selling it, please help a fella out and let me know!
Thanks

If you want to be secure, don't include the sd card

That would be good. But if I were paranoid (sometimes I am) I would fill with junk data on your phones internal. Maybe flash roms make twrp backups or whatever then wipe and reformat. This would go for any sd memory. From what i know. You can always research how this storage medium works.

[Q] I upgraded, teen getting old Vibrant. Best way to clear phone?

The title should give a pretty good overview. However, for completeness, here's the deal. (BTW, I've searched and haven't found a good answer. It could be that I'm not searching properly though.)
The Vibrant is running MIUI 2.3.7. It has worked perfectly, GPS included. I upgraded to a GSII during the Valentine's day thing, and now need to wipe the Vibrant so I can give it to my daughter.
I've backed up everything available to my computer, and am now looking for the best way to essentially reset the phone. I want to put MIUI back on it ultimately.
I understand that 'factory data wipe/reset' in CWM doesn't remove everything. Should I format stuff via CWM? Should I Odin back to stock, then reflash everything? If so, does that remove saved passwords, apps, etc.?
Thanks for your help!
Wipe factory reset will clear apps and user data like password.
It will not remove anything on SD card though like music, pics.
You can format SD card and external SD card.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
No need for external SD at this time, so I'm keeping it
So, format SD card from CWM? The word format frightens me a bit. I guess the OS stays in a different partition, so I don't have to worry about deleting that, right?
You can always just hook it up to your PC and pull everything off the internal that way. Then when your teen gets it there won't be anything on it.

[Q] If I wipe data/factory reset will my internal SD card be cleared?

Will a system format wipe my internal sd card? I am rooted with twrp. Sorry for asking such stupid questions. I'm coming from a galaxy nexus where you could make mistakes and it would never brick. I am being much more cautious with my S4. Thanks in advance.
I have the same question as I am also coming from a Galaxy Nexus. I've read it does not, however I haven't read that with someone using it on a S4. Can someone confirm?

I've wiped data/factory reset, and my internal storage was untouched. But, I'd say its always best to back up anything important, just in case.
How about the external SD Card. I assume that's safe as well.
Wipe data factory reset makes your phone explode. J/k
It won't touch internal or external SD.
Factory Reset will not delete either the internal or external SD card files. So pictures, videos, downloads etc will all be there. However it will clear all apps, their data, and your settings
That's what I figured. I always used CWM, however since they were late to the game with Loki I instealled TWRP (and actually like it a lot compared to CWM so far!)

I migrated from CWM about 6 months ago, I definitely prefer TWRP now. I was happy so see how fast Loki support was incorporated for the S4. Already having fun playing with Roms

[Q] HUGE MISTAKE. Erased int sd-card

So my sister, who owns a s3 complained about lag so I told her I could make it better by installing cyanogenmod. I installed recovery and everything, factory reset from cwm and then flashed. It installed well. But now her whole internal sd card got erased by the factory reset (including the backup I made). I had no idea this was gonna happen as I myself dont own a s3. She is really pissed off at me cause she had a really really really important recording in her internal sdcard. Now my question is. Can I use a windows software tool to restore her internal sdcard (like you can on harddrives) or will that mess up the system partition??
Need expert help. Thank you so much, sincerely
You can try Undelete app or any other. It would help

ZTE 812 Maven memory wipe & reset, reformat Sd

Can my phones memory be completely wiped back to factory? I'm not well educated in such things & I download apps I'm not satisfied with continually. I've had the phone for almost a year now & reset it for the first time recently. The phone was rooted, a friend of mine did it for me but I can't get it to root again. My SD card is messed up as well. It shows that it has plenty of space left yet when I try to move an app it says there isn't room. I've even tried erasing the card but to no avail. I'm lost, help!e

If your phone was actually rooted it's the first one anybody has heard of. There's another thread on xda about trying to root the maven ( cant figure out how to post the link here) if you could get your friend to post how it was done soooo many people would grateful because right now there's no known permanent root method.

Is there any way I can salvage data from this situation?

Yesterday night, after experiencing a hard crash, I found myself with a softbricked 2016 Samsung Galaxy Tab A.
Earlier today, while attempting to get it working again, I did a factory reset and a firmware flash in that order. Yes, in retrospect, I could have saved a lot of trouble if I hadn't done that factory reset, but hindsight is 20/20 and I'd never dealt with an android issue like this.
Anyway, I got the tablet working again, but I've lost all my data, and worse, since my SD card was encrypted, I have no access to the files on there either. I figure the data on the internal storage is as good as gone, but just in case, I've kept the tablet off since then.
Is there any way I could potentially extract the encryption key from the memory of the main tablet, and use it to decrypt my SD card? The majority of my files were on there, and while I'm fine losing most of the stuff on the tablet itself, I'd really like to salvage the SD card. It has about 10 gigs worth of pictures and videos on it.
