deadman96385 Hi. Thanks for good ROM, it seems everything works in a regular mode. But doesn't see external SD card formatted in exFat. From external SD card the insertion couldn't be established, only from the internal.

We do not nativity support exfat, we have a solution for Samsung phone, and it should work fine with Sony phones also but it may not so make a backup before flashing this zip.

um, even though I had just built an unofficial version the day before this release I have gone back to Slim. This by no means that it is better or worse, it is just what I got used to over the month or so and what I have got configured how I want it.

Anyone know why appsettings in xposed won't work right?

thanks will try
EDIT: Did not work for me, but the exfat.zip works no issues.

Having an issue with setting dpi's. I attached a log cat as well. Not sure what the issue is. Running a Xperia z ultra, togari, liquid smooth 4.4 rom. Xposed is installed with no errors as well.

I am sure there will be extra stuff in the logcat, but what u did was open appsettings and tried to apply a custom dpi to settings.

this works thanks!
one thing..the notification drawer shortcuts..no matter what you add for settings-wifi, settings-ring/vib/silent you always get the same settings icon..no text and no unique identifier like wifi etc..they all look the same. It would be good to have the option to get the text instead of just the settings icon so one can see what the shortcuts are for. Think Carbon rom calls it quicksettings shortcuts..it gives unique icons it seems. Thanks

For some reason it has to do with the dpi setting in the interface settings. It will only change if I change the density there or in the build.prop. Is there a way to make appsettings work or a possible fix?

Dang. Have they added quick settings customization yet? I'm pretty happy on 4.3 Slim right now, but now you're tempting me with 4.4 once again.
HTC seems pretty on the ball for 4.4 though, so I'm hoping we can get something official soon that'll help work out our device's AOSP kinks, pending Verizon certification (multiple expletives deleted).

No quick settings is not yet implemented.
This and slimkat are the most feature rich 4.4 ROMs currently. Your favorite ROM is working quite well with 4.4 on my DNA
Its also having same issue i.e CAMERA

Can you add the TWRP recovery that was updated yesterday in the CM11 thread? It works fine.
Outside of the mods, is there any difference between this and the other 4.4 ROM in terms of stability and performance?

I had the same problem with this and another ROM. Try this
1.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
2.Format the following:
/data
/system
/cache
/dalvik
Do not format /sdcard
3.Flash ROM and reboot
4. After first boot to home screen change sim settings to sim, not NV
5.Boot to recovery. Flash gapps. Wipe cache and dalvik.
6. Reboot.

You might try the trick mentioned in the unofficial 4.4 thread. My recollection (see that thread for full details):
go into data settings
using dropdown menu - enable airplane mode
disable data
verify RUI/SIM setting (think)

The camera app was missing for me from the app drawer. I tried the camera from the lockscreen and it didn't even show a live preview. I restored back to CM11 since that 4.4 ROM is pretty much bug free. But as far as I can tell so far with this ROM data is wonky and no camera..... didn't test much else.

I guess i turned into a noob over night..
I can not get this to take. cm-11-20131116-unofficial.zip, it hangs then i loose boot.. Good for me, that i have a backup.
I downloaded cwm recovery 4.0.4, but it's not compatible with viperDna 4.2.2......
I have twrp v2.5...
Golden question, What is a noob to do?
Thanks
So far so good. updated my TWRP to the one from CM11 thread. Installed fine. Typical temp grief from TB, reinstalled SuperSU and pointed it to correct backup folder. Google launcher works, but doesnt have voice output. im playing with the settings now to try and fix. Also installed CRpalmers kernel to see how it takes.
So does everyone have data working consistently? Calls, texts, WiFi all work fine, i just can't get data to work at all even after all the how to fixes.

All known issues resolved
Lollipop Downloads:
Download Rom:AFH Mirror
Download Gapps for Lollipop:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56810851#post56810851
Download latest SU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
Read Me
Superuser must be flashed as the recovery script is still intact. Fashing SU in the same session will prevent the recovery being overwritten.
If /system is mounted in recovery, you may get an error flashing the gapps package. Just unmount the /system partition and flash gapps again.
1.) Perform factory reset
2.) Flash ROM, GAPPS, and latest SuperSU
3.) Reboot
4.) Profit

Yep. Its only 163 because gapps are not included (since it is source built and not based on the factory image like other ROMs posted). So be sure to flash the gapps linked. Any will do, but I prefer the PA version as it is most up to date.
Let me know what you think. Aside from what is listed as not working, it is fully functioning.

Cool. Let me know if all is good on GSM side too. Calls, mms, sms.. the usual stuff. Went in to this blind but I assume if it works for me on Sprint it would work on the GSM side too.

Yep! OG Evo it was. Made Unchained on that years ago based on CM 7. Last time I did any sort of development for a device. Wow that was a long time ago lol.
I get this after flashing the ROM:
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/aosp_hammerhead-ota-eng.actofgod.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/aosp_hammerhead-ota-eng.actofgod.zip'
Not sure what happened :T

Guessing TWRP and you had wiped the system partition. If you wipe system it mounts that partition. Restart back in to recovery and flash again or go back to the main recovery screen, select mounts and unmount system then flash again :good: I will put in a command to unmount system before flashing in the script so this error can be avoided.

To confirm, unmounting system fixed it? Or did you reboot back to recovery and flashed again?
In regards to the app, yeah I noticed that too. Typically, it auto downloads everything when you run the same ROM. Any future updates to the same ROM will still save the info, so when you wipe and flash to the same ROM but an updated version, it will automatically restore. In this case, it is a brand new ROM and a start over is basically all that can be done. Once you've set everything up it should automatically restore on any subsequent build I put out. Best thing I can suggest in the future is titanium backup so you can restore app and app data. :good:
It is also one way to tell who is using the same base.

I'll give it a try and provide feedback. Thanks for providing another ROM for this device!
Installed last night. Running very smoothly so far.
Thanks for this. Huge props for keeping this rom alive.
I've been using this ROM for a few days now and I love it. Very stable and fast. Has most of the features and tweaks that I love (and then some). Thanks again for providing the ROM.
tried to install and stuck on boot liquid smooth just keeps flashing did dirty and clean install. and i rebooted several times. am i doing something wrong
I found an issue in the preferred network setting menu. I can only get a few of the selections to take, unlike the old build where all of the options would stick even if they didn't work. When selected, the options that don't stick, immediately switch back to the last good option. If I wasn't travelling, I wouldn't even be worried about it. So, not a huge issue in NJ, but a small problem driving across the country.
I try to flash this rom by the last TWRP 2.8.0.1 but got this error:
"E: Error executing updater binary in zip <the rom zip's path>
Error flashing zip <the rom zip's path>"
I checked MD5 of the download rom zip and it's ok.
So do I need special version of twrp or instruction to flash?
Thanks.
i just installed this a few minutes ago and i've already suffered a oom panic reboot seems no more but now i can't reach google and i'm on wifi and my play store is working fine

I have the ROM flashed. Everything has been going good, but then my LTE stops working. I can't for and the setting to update PRL anywhere. When I try to go to carrier setting I get a force close of com.android.phone.
Can anyone assist with this? Thanks
Before you ask. Yes I did a clean install and I wiped the data and cache partitions after flashing gapps.

It helps but it's not required.
@jabbajawz you won't find update PRL in an asop only in a sense rom.
I can't speak to your LTE issues as I am a user not a dev.
Good luck
How do I get BootLoader 2.10 I have 2.09 will that work?
Have you read through this thread?

Liquid Smooth last_kmsg
I just installed this again a couple days ago. I really like the tweaks it offers, and seems to be pretty smooth (aptly named). One thing that happened though, was last night around 3:20 it rebooted while it was plugged in. I think that time coincides with a scheduled Titanium Backup. Don't know if that caused it or not.
But anyway, I have attached (in this link http://gw.gd/D123) the last_kmsg if it helps. I'm running the included kernel and have no tweaks (like xposed, or anything) installed.
Let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks man. Makes total sense. I have been using sense roms since HTC Hero Days, but vanilla android has changed A LOT since then.
I figured out the LTE thing. My Access Point setting was set to Boost. Switched it to "Sprint LTE Internet" and it started working.

Stock CM Kernel with TWRP-2.8.7.0 in Odin flashable format
I am attaching here the stock cm kernel with twrp-2.8.7.0 in odin flashable format along with the 1Gb-system/4Gb-Data pit file and Odin-3.09. Use this to recover from soft bricks and also the kernel can be used with other lollipop based ROMS. Flash the kernel with odin after installing the ROM of your choice. If you have used this kernel to repair a soft brick, you will have to again reflash the kernel after installing the ROM if you want to continue using this kernel. Happy flashing.

Its only for one time during first run...you can uninstall the chinese stuff if u want to....btw plz check the new twrp recovery and plz report back if it functions properly and the ROM too.
Some first impressions
1. The ROM seems to have all the options that I like.
2. The initial setup automatically selected my language (Hebrew) so I didn't have to scroll through the list of languages at all - that was very nice; most ROMs start with English selected and I have to scroll half the list to get to Hebrew.
3. When switching screens during the setup, there's garbage at the bottom bar. I initially thought that was a CM problem, but since it exists also here and in PA, it's probably AOSP problem. It's not a real issue, just strange.
4. Networks speeds: After disabling it, it stops updating but the last status remains displayed in the status bar; I probably have to reboot to stop seeing it there.

I tested it...backup and restore works just fine...I purposefully disabled efs partition backup in twrp....it contains imei...radio info...ril info and many sensitive stuff..if during backup or restore process it gets messed...it will render your phone unusable.
just backup system, data & boot....I tested it. and after backing up...power off once before restore...the partitions get freshly mounted. And do not use backups of old twrp with the latest one...and backup with default selections.

From the mountpoints in device tree it should support any type. Can you check if it works on CM13 or not? If it doesn't work on CM13 fefifofum did not add support for exFAT yet, alternatively you can reformat your sd card to FAT32, Im 100% sure theres a tool that allows you to format storages bigger than 32GB into FAT32 which should be supported by any rom. I've got 16 and 32GB cards for my G4 and G Pad 7.0 formated to FAT32 and never had any issues.

Strange. I do not use SD Card, so I cannot confirm. May be @Adam Myczkowski can give us some logic behind this?

I just tested with 32GB SD Card formatted to FAT32, and it works well in TWRP and ROM.
This problem I had earlier ... unfortunately we can not use FAT32 because I often zip and rar files larger than 2 gigabytes and films more than 2GB ..and if I remember correctly for FAT 32 file one registration is limited to 2 gigabytes
what amazes me that there is no support for NTFS twrp 3.0.2
clean cm13 try and let you know how it went

So I successfully applied cm13 .sdcard works as it should. from five at the beginning .. and wipe again applied SLIM ... and now exFAT works ... do not know what it was but nothing here changed the sdcard. Barrel is that it already goes

Im glad to hear it. It might have been some internal error or something with sdcard itself, that can happen sometimes.

Good to hear you got it working.
My tablet feels smoother than ever on this ROM.
Thanks to Adam. :good:
I'm sorry but I have a back problem .. I have some applications that require root .. unfortunately, one that is built into the system for some reason is not working as it should.
tried here on supersu.2.46 bootlop..... then I tried 2.76 bootlop again .....
Any suggestions on how to solve it?
edit : Then I tried the 2.76-SYSTEM MODE ... bootloop

Can you hold this till tomorrow? I don't have access to my tablet to test. I flashed 2.76 system mode before putting together the FAQ and had no problem. But let me confirm again tomorrow.

Slim does not support superuser, you need to go to developer options and enable root for apps and adb.
