After i installed Kernel in CWM Recovery, the phone didn't want to turn on.
Phone gives few signs. Whenever i press power button, phone vibrates but screen stays off. If its connected to pc, it will show light red light for some second and won't vibrate. If it's connected to pc and i hold power button and down button, it will show green light for some seconds and i could hear some noise from pc. What should i do please help, thank you.
Anyone ?
Try reflash it through pc "cmd or flashtool" :good:

If the problem stills, it mean you didn't unlock your bootloader or the kernel can't compatible with your Rom

Force shutdown using vol up and power key (hold it until 3 vibrations)
Flash valid kernel

I've tried everything. It's an oz Telstra branded phone and when I plug usher into phone whilst holding the back button, I get the green led bit the phone boots up normally. I am holding the jack button down too and have tried removing the battery for longer.. any ideas?

If you are attempting to root using the guide here then you need to hit "any key" on your keyboard as quickly as you can. Otherwise the phone starts up normally.

Do you know how can I solve this?
Edit: If I press the power button when the phone isn't connected to the pc, the red led blinks.

Hi! i have a big problem! A friend tried to flash something on his x10mini and i think he bricked it and so i will try to bring it back to life! But its harder than i thought! The bootloader is unlocked! The device doesnt boot up after pressing the power button, there is only a short vibration and the screen stays black! I think, charging the phone with the charger doesnt work too, because no led lights up!
So i have tried to flash the stock firmware via flashtool! When i connect the phone to my pc with usb, the green led lights up and it is shown as a connected device in flashtool! But after 15 seconds the connection is interrupted for about 2 seconds! And this happens over and over again, so flashing something is not possible!
My next attempt was the repair function from Sony PC Companion! After pressing the power button + back button the software tells me, that there is no firmware available for the x10mini (and yes, i am in the repair mode )! But afterwards the green led stays on without this rebooting problem after 15 seconds, but this doesnt help me...
Is there anything else i can do? Or is it possible to solve this rebooting problem during the flash-mode!
Every help is appreciated! Thanks!
Use Sony Ericsson update service!! And repair it

Last night I charge my Xperia S overnight and it wont turn on anymore now.
I've tried to restart it by long pressing the power button or power and vol up but it doesnt work.
When i tried to connect it to the PC, the LED notification turns red but still cannot flash any firmware.
Have anyone had this problem before

This should be in the q&a section. For info you need to hold down vol up, home button and power.
