[Q] apns-conf - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Ok, so i forgot to back up my apns-conf.xml file. I edited it to bypass the upsell stuff. After editing and reboot i get an com.android.phone has stopped error. I need a copy of a stock apns-conf file. Does anyone have one? My phone is the LG Optimus L9 LG-P769 V20d (not update because of removed bloatware and crap)

[Q] Bell gameloft_3games.zip

Hello,
I'm trying to install Bell's gingerbread update for my Atrix but it appears I'm missing the / preinstall / app / "Gameloft_3games.zip" file. I have the bell system dump downloaded that contains all the apps and other random stuff but I cant seem to find the gameloft_3games.zip file. Can someone help me out here?? Maybe share their file with me or maybe tell me what the zip contains so I can try and build a new one?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue, I've tried OTA and offline install, also tried modding the update zip to remove the gameloft_3games.zip, but the file is signed and the verify fails...
apk files
I tried creating a zip file and inside of it, I put the apks of the 3 demo gameloft games that came stock with the phone. It didn't work, So I tried making another zip and I dumped every single file in it from the / app folder renaming it to gameloft_3games.zip and that never worked either. So theirs obviously some other kind of files in there that we need...
exact same problem someone please help!
edit: you guys found a solution yet? i've been told on other forums that i think it is the rooting method we used that removed that gameloft file.. i think apparently ATT phones don't need that file or something..so i'm trying to figure out how to get that file back now..
If you do some searching for gameloft_3dgames.zip you'll find a zip of the stock 2.2.2 files available for download. I was able to push the gameloft_3dgames.zip to /data/local/tmp/, remount /preinstall/ read/write, copy it in there, set permissions to 644, remount read-only, reboot, and then apply the update successfully.
Good luck!

[Q] Need the stock homescreen to update

So I replaced my RAZR Maxx's homescreen with the RAZR M one and I forgot to back it up. I have the stock files but the homescreen says it's .odex instead of an apk. Any help would be much appreciated because I don't feel like waiting for the fastboot files.
homescreen.apk
mas11-
Here is the original file from before the update.
For some reason I am unable to install this file and replace the RAZR M Homescreen.apk file. Whenever I try to do this I get the message "Install Failed"
Just curious what is the method to go back to the stock homescreen and remove the Circles theme so I can update the phone ???
Anybody have any ideas ?

Use a root file explorer to move the apk to /system/app, simply installing it won't fix anything.

I have even deleted the M homescreen.apk file and replaced it with the original file and then rebooted only to discover the phone stuck at the red eye and will not boot up. Then I have to wipe the data and start with a fresh phone which fails towards the end of the initial setup process. I am only able to do anything on the phone because the Play Store shows me updates are available for programs I have downloaded before.
Once I'm in the Play Store I can download ES File Explorer and then delete the original homescreen.apk file and replace it with the M homescreen.apk file and everything works perfectly.
Not sure how to go back to the stock launcher ???
I can however install the original Homeconfig.apk file without any problems.
Not sure what I am missing here ???

Ive encountered the same issue... but now my stock system doesn't reboot at all.. I hear the stock animation running but I get nothing.. my safesystem however works fine..and I can boot to my Eclipse Rom.. dunno what to do from here. lol
Hmmmm
It doesn't make any sense. It was my first time playing with a homescreen.apk file but I was under the impression that you could go back to the other one very easily. Guess that's not the case here.
I also deleted all the files installed for the RAZR M homescreen.
I even deleted all of the other .apk's first - Circles, Weather and removed the lib files and still no go.
Not sure what to do from here ???

If You Flashed One Of My Older Zips That Required You To Change The Build.prop File Please Click To Read Before Proceeding Any Zip From This Post Flashed Before 9-19-13 Please Click To Read!!!
It is no longer necessary to edit the Build.prop file. I have provided Fix Zips Below to undo the changes that my earlier zips made to the build.prop and SystemUI. If you flashed one of the Official International Version MGA Build zips Before 9-19-2013. Please Use the Fix Zips below before downloading and flashing the new Official International Version MGA Build Dark Contact And Dialer Zips!
These zips below under <Click To Show Content Button> are to undo the changes that my earlier zips made to your build.prop and SystumUI. They are not needed if you havent downloaded and installed one of the Official International Version MGA Build zips Before 9-19-2013 just skip this part and download the one of the Official International Version MGA Build zips.
Here is a Zip to undo the changes to the build.prop and fix the zips if you intalled before 9-19-2013: Fix_Zip_SystemUI_Contacts (This Zip Must Be Flashed It Cannot Be Down Manually)
Here is the fix If you didnt have custom Recovery and changed the SystemUI manually : Return_Stock_SystemUI.zip (just extract the zip and copy the SystemUI.apk to the /system/app forlder and overwrite the file)
If you Manually Edited Build.prop: Change ro.product.name=jfltespr to ro.product.name=jfltevzw or Delete the build.prop file and rename the build.prop.bak file to build.prop and reboot.

Pics Of Different Themes Below
Instructions On How To Install
Instructions For Phones With No Custom Recovery
Just a note for you people without a custom recovery. Coping and replacing files can cause the system to freeze. I always copy the apk's to the system folder instead of the system/app folder once copied to the system folder you can set the permissions there then move the apk to the system/app folder then that way if it freezes up and does a force reboot the permissions are already set correctly. Coping the files that go in the system/etc/snd_soc_msm will not cause the system to freeze so your fine just placing them directly in that folder. Remember these are what is needed for call recording to work. It is not necessary to back these files up unless you want to.
Here Is The Procedure for installing manually: Extract my zip and copy the files to the appropriate folders SecPhone.apk and SecContacts.apk to /system/app. Delete SecPhone.odex and SecContacts.odex or rename SecPhone.odex to SecPhone.odex.bak same with SecContacts SecContacts.odex rename to SecContacts.odex.bak. Then copy snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3 and snd_soc_msm_2x_Fusion3_auxpcm to /system/etc/snd_soc_msm
Glad someone picked this up.

Thanks for putting this together. I've been dying to get rid of the stock blinding white since I got my S4. For anyone that is odex just remove SecContacts, SecContacts.odex & SecPhone and place them in a storage folder on your SD card just in case. Then just flash whatever style dialer you want. Works flawlessly!

On stock ME7 rooted, these do not work. I copied them over using root explorer and when I reboot I am able to see all my contacts, favorites, dialpad, etc. However during phone boot I get "com.android.phone has stopped" etc. and whenever I try to go into the phone app it force closes. I also have no service trying to use these apps. FYI.

If you guys want to try this it works fine for me. This is the actual International Dialer And Contacts. Download this zip INTERNATIONAL_DIALER_CONTACTS_MGA.zip. Now edit your build.prop file and change ro.product.name=jfltevzw change to ro.product.name=jfltexx. This will allow for the Contacts to work properly if you dont do this step it will not work!!
This will change your 4G LTE icon so here is a link if you want it to look different http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355529. You just cant name it back to the Verizon one or the International Dialers wont work. Let me know if this works on the Stock ME7 builds
Edited: I added this to the OP. For those of you that can flash this there is no need to manually edit the build.prop file the zip will do it for you and back up the original one. I have fixed the 4G LTE Icon so it displays the verizon one in the status bar. For those of you manually adding the files you will have to edit the build.prop file manually and will be stuck with the International 4G icon.

[Q] Bad build.prop edit

Hi guys, before I start I'll say that I have searched all over the internet and here on the forums and I couldn't find my particular issue. Well the thing is that I edited the line in my build.prop "ro.build.version.codename=REL" to "ro.build.version.codename=L" so I could get the material design on the Google Now Launcher pulled from a Android L build here's the thread I got that app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-android-lollipop-apps-launcher-apps-t2912905
I did that and now my device will boot up normally then I will reboot by itself then show the boot animation then repeat the same process again and again until I force the phone to recovery or fastboot.
By the way my device is the LG Optimus G (E970) running GEE 3 ROM 1.2 and TRWP 2.6.3.0 and I have a backup of the original build.prop on my PC. I don't want to lose my data and apps since I forgot to make a backup (silly me).
I would like to know if there is a way to push the build.prop file on my PC to my phone so I could just replace it, or create a flashable zip.
Please help me, and thanks in advance.
Nevermind. I managed to push the original build.prop file to /system set the correct permissions and now my phone is working again.
Admin feel free to delete or close this thread.

[Q] Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro (5042T) DownloadProvider.apk

This is a long shot, but does anyone have an Alcatel OneTouch Pop Astro (5042T) that they can pull DownloadProvider.apk and DownloadProviderUi.apk from their system apps folder?
I accidentally deleted these files and now I can't download anything from the Play Store. If you need root, use the KingRoot app to root your phone.
Much appreciated!

On my Astro, I've only got DownloadProviderUi.apk (and not DownloadProvider.apk). Possible that the other file is somewhere else?
Also, wondering if you're aware of any custom roms that work for this device. I'm pretty diehard Cyanogen, but the Astro hasn't been ported there yet. Anything would be interesting for me to look at, thanks!
I found the downloadproviderui.apk & odex. In the /system/apps/ folder... And i also found my downloadprovider.apk & odex in /system/private-app/ folder.... I am new at this... And will try to attach the files.... Do you need the odex too...
Which version of KingRoot did you use? I can't get it to work on mine. I would really like to root this phone and any help would be appreciated.

I'm having a few issues as well with this phone. I had it rooted with King Root and all seemed well, I accidentally let it OTA update and the flash failed and now its stuck in stock recovery. Does anyone have or know how to get a stock .zip file?
