Not sure if its asked before, but are there any roots available after 4.4? Will I run into the problem of not being to update future OTAs? Mainly rooting only for auto hide bottom bar.
Thanks

No, you cant run iOS apps on Android, and if you had taken a few seconds to search you would already have that answer from one of the other topics where this silly question has been asked.
Also, why would you want to install the iOS app when there is an official Android version???

Sry for posting a similar topic but the link above is not exactly an app but a html5 webpage that provides more tasks to complete in the junowallet app that i already have.
Just that android users cannot acess that page.

I need an app from ios
That's nice. Go ask the developer to make an Android version (this thread is no less stupid than when it was started).
Its stupid for you not for athers
No, it's a stupid question. Period (as The Atheist intimated >9 mths ago). Do you have even the remotest understanding of how different Android & iOS are as operating systems/so far as frameworks go ?
Obviously not.
I am...you "smart" in windows you can run linux apps and opposite why cant be possible on android. Think it
Make it happen then.

As a newbie by name, I have been looking into a easy way to root my Note 2 from Verizon as they have a lame multi-window list. I tried oneclickroot after reading about but they were not able to root my device. What is your experience or option of oneclickroot, and how easy is it to find a good rom that will allow for a biggerlist of multiwindow apps. Thanks in advance.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2118348
You cant one click root because you have to unlock the boot loader. As far as roms with full multiwindow....... anything under andriod development in this forum. Original android development has no multiwindow. Also, once rooted, check in the apps thenes section for transparent multiwindow. Love it.

If you are talking about Adam Outler's one click root using casual, then keep trying as it will get you where you want to go.
Most problems come from bad drivers. Just read the thread very carefully, and you should be fine. Once you are rooted and unlocked, you can choose from several roms. Personally, I use beans, which has all apps available in multitask.

I know there have been PLENTY of threads on xda trying to solve this and I've asked questions on the threads themselves and I'm yet to receive a reply. Can someone please give me a small guide (if possible ) how temp unroot.
1. Rootkeeper or any other app on the app store doesn't work when root is protected for me
2. SuperSU uninstall doesn't work for me
3. Flashing a zip to remove SuperSU and Busybox didn't work for me either.
There isn't a file with the name 'superuser.apk' that I could find.
Can anyone help with my predict? I really need to get this working before US Open

BTW I actually don't mind unrooting my phone for a few weeks as long as I don't lose data or backup. If there is a way to do this (which isn't considered a temp root) please let me know

Have you tried the temporary unroot option inside superuser. It always works for me?

I've just tried that and it didn't work. I don't know what the Sky Go app is detecting but I keep getting the same popup that Sky Go doesn't support rooted devices. But thanks for your help anyways mate

I also tried using Android 4.3 which seemingly doesn't have root access, so I don't know what the app is picking up.

Sky Go is an application which allows people with a Sky subscription to watch TV on their devices, whether it be a tablet, phone or PC. I'm guessing u live outside the UK because Sky is quite popular here. As for the app, it is free, however you need an account to access it. Here's the link to it in the Play Store anyways.

I'm not sure if you can have a look at this without an account but let me know anyway buddy.

Hii i just purchased the LG optimus G E970 and i was wondering that how do u move Apps and games to sd card in it??
i have the 4.0 android version...
Welcome and congratulations on your new top of the line device. To move apps around you can use a program called apps 2 SD. Or better yet rom toolbox. It let's you configure shlt on your phone precisely although you need to be rooted.

Thanks 4 the reply but apps 2 sd doesnt work as it takes the screen back to the apps setting and their is no option to move it to sd card....i dont know how to root and i cant take that risk..
You're out of luck without root.

You should just try to root it is really simple. Search for or and look around the forums.

To root your phone look for an app called 'Framaroot' here on XDA.
Try the options in the app, one of them will root the phone! :good:
If you do root your phone DO NOT REMOVE BLOATWARE WITHOUT UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER, otherwise you will get security error softbrick and need to restore with lgnpst program.

Ok so everyone knows that you should be able to install .apk if you set to allow. I'm able to with other .apk and don't have issues normally.
My question is, do I need root to get the 4.4 keyword, launcher etc to work?
Ideas on steps I can take while still stock. I have no problem rooting. Just haven't got around to it.
Sent from my EVO using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
So launcher won't work as Google search keeps crashing when I attempt to enable the new 4.4 launcher.
So I'm going to just root it and go that route to enable it that way. Keyboard isn't working either while stock and not or rooted either.
