Any microSDHC/microSDXC should fit
If it's a real Samsung 64GB microSDXC card, it should say SDXC not SDHC on the card

I guess its fair to ask, where are you trying to insert it? So we are on the same page.

Did try another microSD card in the phone? Samsung changed the SD card mechanism so that it is no longer spring loaded
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

It should be above the Sim. I have the exact same SD and it fits.

So we won't assume where you are trying to stick your card. Diagram below...

I bought a samsung 32gb uhs I card... it felt like it didnt want to go in either. I had to push it harder than I even had too. It makes a clicking sound when goes in.
My 16gb card was made by HP... it slides right in no issue.

How is this now ? succesfuly inserted or still problems ? Hows the performance ?
I was planning to buy one of this the other day now I'm rethinking about it.

I've never had an issue with my SanDisk 64GB UHS-1 card. Maybe your Note 3 is defective?
SwiftKey'ed from my White Sprint Note 3 via XDA Premium

Nope. I don't think it's defective, unless he can put in any other cards. I think the Samsung cards are made to be a little thicker.. to ensure a solid connection. I pull it out.. it's always hard to put back in. No pun intended.
Performace wise... the uhs I card plays video flawlessly. No studder or video lag. Im also using it for taking pics. The previous card I had was slow to store... allow to load on the pc... I guessed that the surrender in a class 4 and a class I.

Instead of showing us the package, post photos of the actual memory card, the package also looks different, cant actually say its authentic either.

Here's the card from maplins, I got a fake before this one and your blister pack that the micro sd came in was the same as the fake, one from maplins was a different blister pack
Fake blister and sd card, look at the sd card, cheep lookin plastic and real will have no bubble in the blister pack holder
Real sd
I got a full refund on the fake, to test transfer more than 5b onto it, anything after will be corrupt and also check speed I was only getting 10 my read out of the fake, real is min 20mb

same situation in Poland, there is a lot of fakes with bubbled plastic cover, like in picture below:
real ones are like this:

Just had a quick scan on fleabay and it's obvious which is fake and which is real, so simple with the packaging

Chipped s pen already

Noticed my s pen is chipped. Not the part that you pull out on but the side that's flush with the phone. Anyone else have a pen that's chipping? Also would the store trade it for another since I just got it from the store on release day or do I need to contact Samsung?

good luck, you might be able to get it exchanged since you haven't had it 2 weeks. Most likely they'll throw out the "it doesn't effect the performance of the device" excuse.
Nevermind the image didn't load for me before. Well that sucks man. Best of luck replacing it. Going to take extra special care now when handling the s pens.
Day 2 of owning my device, I somehow already chipped a very very small part of my screen. No idea how either
I have the same problem I have the vzw note 2 and the paint is chipping on the silver painted part of the pen but mine is chipping from pulling out the s pen its in the little crevis part ill take pic now ... Please advice me on if you were able to get Samsung or Verizon to replace orv what you did

My Spen has been chipped since after a week. The phone was built crappy IMO. Im careful with my stuff and my screen is scratched and there are a couple chips around the phone.
Here is a better shot of the damage is just not right this device is expensive enough that they should use better materials

Im in the same boat I here ya! Samsung makes great products but cut cost on cheaper meterials I too have a small scratch on my screen and I was babying the crap out of it when I was cleaning with a micro fiber cloth my last 4 phones over the past 2 years had no screen protectors and rarely did I get a scratch and I was much rougher knowing in advance from other threads that the note 2 was using cheaper quality material to cut costs ... My question is why they're making billions not millions but billions ... It pisses me off ...I want a replacement pen I know the scratch on the screen is so small that a screen protector will hide it

is this a common issue? I'm considering getting either this phone or the DNA, and build quality is kind of a concern with the Samsung stuff. I hope this isn't indicative of sammy's overall quality here.

The plastic for the SPen is rather soft. So yes it is an issue, but it doesn't affect performance at all, and the phone itself doesn't have the problem.

I didn't notice it until I read this thread. Slight chipping here as well.
Wow guys. Really? You guys are whining over some microscopic paint chip? Be glad that's the extent of your problems with this phone. Every phone is going to have its problems. Paint will naturally come off if suffers regular abrasion, either from sliding in and out of the phone or from us handling it. I'm just glad this phone doesn't have real problems like a poor radio or battery over heat.

My mods

I am pretty pleased with myself, and although none of the ideas are really that original (others have done similar things... SD card thing was done on a Note I, but not quite so elegantly in my opinion), I like how they all came together. I'm sorry for the poor quality pics... family is asleep and I cannot access a decent camera so these came from my PS Vita which is more accessible
Using a Otterbox case I've got a phone with a fairly long battery life and a full size SD slot which is currently supporting a 128gb Kingston SDXC card. It did require some cutting with a dremel, but when the case is on there is very difficult to detect the mods visually. Now there is a slight bump where the battery lies, but it doesn't overly deform the case and the SD card is undetectable. Of course it is heavier, but it is worth the weight to me as my cell coverage at work is nonexistent and the extra battery actually allows me to make it through a 12 hour shift with battery life at the end of the day. Now doing this required my cutting through the portion of the case where the NFC antenna is located, thus no NFC commo right now. For me this is no huge loss as it's something I never use though. Your mileage may vary with this though

Otterbox seems to be using a different polymer for the rubber covering now... It's more... firm (best word I can think of)... Additionally, I cut the original backing tight enough that it is very difficult to remove the battery with that in place. In any case the battery isn't going anywhere.

Well, I know what my next project will be! I am going to do the battery mod with an Otterbox I just traded for. So, its not like I have to pay the $50 for the case. And I already have the dremel... so the only thing i need to buy is the battery. I believe the mount either attaches with double sided tape (like it did on the G1) or the mount is permanently attached to the case and you need to swap cases to use the lens (like the one sold for the G3)

Most of these generic lenses have large ugly mounts, but if you find one made specifically for a phone it is typically mounted physically to a cheap case. You could remove it from the case with a little force and clean the surface, then epoxy the lens to any cheapo phone case that will fit on the Note 3.
---------- Post added at 12:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:21 PM ----------
After looking around, it appears this one is a generic one that has a mount that sticks on with double sided tape, and the mount is left on the back of your phone or case.
You can see it's the same as this one, but the mount is turned sideways to make it fit. This one is pre-mounted to a clear case for this specific phone.

S-Pen Broke in Half

My S-Pen broke, just wondering where I could buy another one for cheap and if it is covered at all by the phones warranty?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
just superglue it back, or go to the samsung store and buy one. and no it does not cover with the warrenty, its your fault that you broke it.
It's like $15 from Samsung with the 50% off code
Covered by the warranty!?! Really!?! If it was broke when you first took your phone out of the box, then yes, the warranty would cover it. After you've had the phone, not so much.
That's basically like asking if the manufacturers warranty for your car will still cover your car after you've ran it in to a tree! Lol
SwiftKey'ed from my White Sprint Note 3 via XDA Premium
Unless it broke due to a manufacturer defect. Then they should warranty it.

So from what it looks like, you had a cloud white version, but ripped off the back and put on a black back cover instead?
And is your screen cracked?

I think that's just his cracked screen protector

Negative.
This is he midframe and back from the Moto X Pro.
Here's the pic from Motorola's website.
And it's the screen protector that's cracked...got a new one on the way.

Ah I see! Is there a big difference in the mid frame from the cloud white and x pro? They look very similar

You have a link to where you got the mid plate and back plate?

Just make sure you start a dialog with them and make them understand you want the DARK GREY frame for the xt1115

That is a pretty big difference, thanks for sharing!
How long did it take you for this conversion? And was it difficult disassembling and reassembling everything?

Took about an hour. I have had my phone apart twice before so it may take a bit longer if it's your first time.
I bought a new battery which helped as well. Nothing wrong with my original battery just wanted to be safe as I'm gonna have this device for at least another year.
I followed this guide. There are links to the original XDA thread for this as well as teardown videos.

@buzzwyzr,
Very nice conversation job indeed, the phone looks much more refined and serious with gray chassis and black backpanel. Can you post a link for the battery ? I need to order from the same seller knowing you didn't have any issues with his battery.
Thanks.

Here's the battery I purchased. The only issue I have with it is the cable is just a LITTLE bit longer than the factory battery. If you're not careful it is almost impossible to get plugged back in.

How's the quality of the mid frame? Does it feel like genuine OEM?

You have more guts than me. I'll just put on a case with a black back and grey sides.

That back cover is the one with the rubberyish soft touch feel right? Similar to the N5?
Does anyone have a working link to purchase the moto x pro back cover?
Are there any other links to the back cover? the ebay one is no longer selling and the aliexpress is a mobile link for a blue chassis.

No its not. It a link for all 3 colors. As I stated you have to start a dialog with them and specify that you want the DARK GREY chassis for the Moto X Pro.
