"Hi All P780 Users"
This is a very good ROM I've found on the Russian Lenovo forum and i like to share it with you after translating the ROM thread to English
I've tested this ROM on my P780 4 GB and it run great without any problems

ROM Information & Fetures :
- Firmware is built on the latest stable Chinnese Frimware ROM "VIBEROM_V1.0_1407_2_ST_P780_NK_BA1A".
- allmost all the Chinese software Removed from the firmware.
- android Version 4.2.2
- Added ROOT, RootShell, Busybox, TWRP 2.6.3.0 .
- For P780 4 GB Version ONLY
- Use PC Flash Tool For Flashing the ROM
- Partitioning memory (internal SD Card Association and Section Data)
- Mods, patches, decorations, additions to the firmware.
- Contain google app
- The ROM keyboard is multi languages
PS: Use this way on your risk. this is the way i installed The ROM on my Phone. You should have a good quality USB Cable and you must install the phone Drivers before using the flash tool

3- Install the 7-ZIP on your PC and us it to extract the Firmware. you will find 2 foldes " Flash tool" and "target_bin".
4- Open the Flash_tool application Check DA DL All With Check
5 - open Scatter-Loading and open this file" MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc" from target_bin folder.
6- click on "Firmware ---> Upgrade" connect the phone powered off and press the power key .
7- You must allow the phone to boot one time to complet the installation

Hi,
I have using this rom since last approx 10 days.
It is very good rom.
But default security program is in Russian.
When it is translated to English using Xpossed installer- translation pack.
But still some data is in Russian.
Do you have any solution?

i don't us it and the phone is doing great and try to install Gravity screen on the phone it make the lock screen fun without touching any key
as the phone loock screen when you flip the cover or put the phone in your pocket

Can you please explain what the patches are doing? Especially for repartitioning: Does this refers to internal storage? - I did not understad the connection with external SD. If need to install another ROM does repartioning affects the installation? Is there any danger with IMEI when repartioning is applied?

The system has 4 languages you can see them in the screen shoots.. But the input language contains Romanian input language. I've checked before I replay you frist time

The reparations patch for making the internal memory of the phone one block 4GB for the system and the default write disk will be the SD card you can see the screen shoots . the installation doesn't affect the imei of the phone as I see on my phone. The installation of other ROMs is possible but you should do it with flash tool from PC to remove the changes done to the internal storage. The other patches either updates or adding more function to the ROM. Don't worry and install this ROM. I've tested about 15 ROM on my phone but I thing this one is good one it meets all my demands and no bugs till now since installation. Give it a try after backing up your system

ok Thanks! Installed it! Even if I would prefer to have an automatic update installation (in different words an official row vibe rom). I am looking for correct power manager now!. One more question: From mobile uncle tools when was under row rom,I could also see UMTS 900 as available band. Now this is gone. Any ideas?

It is Because the compression level is higher, you can flash in any ROM
so i can flash to v7 from vibe v4?

2 small mods for VibeROM v7 by QuBeX:
framework-res.apk:
Removed Emergency call button from stock Lock screen (it's visible if you set security lock type to pattern or PIN). I'm already tired of unintentional emergency call attempts.
Settings.apk:
Added battery usage stats in System settings (Device section).
You have to download file(s) and manually replace system apk(s) with them. Yes, you ought to know how to do this (or google it). These mods are completely independent, you may apply any one of them.
framework-res.apk is for \system\framework\, permissions are rw-r--r--. Device will reboot on change.
Settings.apk is for \system\app\, permissions are rwxrwxrwx. I had to deodex the file, so it's slightly bigger than original one.
BTW, anyone using this “battery mod” please report if battery stats seem reasonable. Cause I’ve seen a number of times when stats were a mess and had obvious errors (like not listing 3D game I’ve played for 2 hours). Maybe that’s the reason why Lenovo hided battery usage from settings (it’s just hidden in fact, not removed). Maybe we should check for alternative power usage stats instead.
QuBeX, you mentioned inverted play store in features of your v7, but it’s just plain white for me from start. Is it really inverted in your K900?
Hi guys (& Qubex)
Did any of you noticed that 2 things:
- Wifi connecting to the open networks (supermarkets, and so on...) is sooo slow, and often the phone doesn't even connect to them...
- The GPS doesn't work correctly also... It takes him about 2-3 minutes for finding ONE satellite... And the other two isn't anywhere...:-/

Had 2 reboots today for no visible reason (just charging phone).
Will test it tomorrow, but now I’m going to roll back to Vibe 4.

Hi guys, I'm so sorry, but I have a lot of exams and I can't spent too much time with this also I'm very sad people don't like my boot animation :crying: hahahhahaha joking
Well, now talking about our k900 and vibe7. For me it is really stable, great battery life, no problem at all. maybe you didn't do a proper wipe or something also problems regarding hardware are Lenovo problems and only they can fix them...
Now, The inverted Play store. Download the last build, it is solved
Also if you don't want to lose data coming from vibe4 or vibe6 I have read that only flashing system.IMG.Gz works, but I haven't tested it so it is up to you

I have some interesting situation.
I was on vibe4, then on vibe7 and yesterday I did back on vibe4, with same zip file I used for vibe4 first time with sdfuse.
I got mixed app from both roms???
I dont see anymore Ultimate power app, etc, that I have on first flash, but I see chinese app, also like first flash.
Now I have wide touch from vibe7, etc. what I didn't have in first flash of vibe4.
I did only rewrite sdfuse folder every time when I flash rom.
The download link doesnt seem to be working. It's loading non stop but not loading the page itself
VibeROM 4 made my phone hot. So I istalled this. But there is a superuser problem. Every time a notification will appear asking me to install Superuser, and then it will fail. Any idea? However, TitaniumBackupPRO runs OK, although it always asks for USB debugging to be activated even though i had done it already.

Apparently, Huawei has deemed the latest B008 version to be stable enough for public consumption and thus has released it as the final (for now) EMUI 3.0 / 400 dpi ROM for Mediapad X1 501u.

Another leaked official beta ROM from Huawei for 7D-501u.
The main feature in this ROM is EMUI 3.0, for those who are still in the dark, EMUI is the skin which Huawei applies over stock Android, think Sense for HTC, Touchwiz for Samsung. EMUI version for current ROMs is 2.3 for KK and 2.0 for JB.
This beta ROM is 4.4.2 based and uses a framework of 400DPI.

it is untested fake
If you have previous ROM around, simply replace the update.app file , retaining the 2 cfg files and then flash again to see if it works.
If you don't, download the attachment below for those 2 files.
If it still doesn't work, it means the source is bad.

I can say that it is not worth of flashing because font size is very small and chrome is not compatible totally with phone page.
So, I decided to flash back to C233B010.

Sorry dear, it seems your comment is not relevant to this thread. This rom is with EMUI 3.0 and 400 DPI. How the font can be very small? You have posted the same comment in another thread where it is relevant.

Link updated, I deleted a letter during my last edit.
To flash this rom you have to be on a CHINA BASE FIRMWARE such as Vibe 1.5 and with TWRP recovery.
If you flash this rom on ROW BASE firmware you will have boot loop.
Any major bug...?
It's around 1 month that I have this rom and I didn't found any major bug.

Works fine with dual sim.
I didn't tried to swith the 3g signal, because I don't have a second sim with data plan, but the option is available.
Gravity box works at 100% as far as I tested, but I didn't try all the options.

I'm not sure about. If you flashed the China firmware with sp flashtools but with EBR for 8gb version, it should work.
But I can't test it, mine is 4 gb version.

How did you flashed it with SP tools?
Did you created your own MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc for this rom?
how did you ceated the iso file. when I unzip i have a folder system witch is usually an .iso file?

I flashed the vibe 1.5 by flashtools, then, via TWRP I flashed this rom.
The vibe 1.5 is a China based firmware.
I will post a link with the vibe 1. 5 if is not present here

Hey guys i used P780_S308_130814 STOCK FIRMWARE to flash on top of my ROW S228 to install this ROM. Every thing went smooth. After installation I simply flashed over using TWRP. SO far the best ROM available for P780,
Battery - Performance - Stability all top notch.
And yes.. i have a 8GB indian version and i got around 2.95GB of internal storage for apps and remaining for data. How ever it uses external SD by default to save app data. If anybody knows how to swap it please let us all know. :good::good:

Unable to restore backups. Thn tried after wiping restore successful but mobile stuck at "starting apps"

Hi bro. The recovery has been tested by one of my friend on A311, but he flash a kk based rom. We have not tested it on cm based rom. Flash a KK based rom.. sorry for the inconvenience. I'll post the a311 recovery separately if any such issue is found

I flashed it as instructed ..I think everything is fine .Was using twrp 2.8.7.0 material design before this ...Iam Using CM12.1

Bro still same issue on canvas nitro a311 stock rom.
When I restore it without wiping it get stuck on restoring system. And if restore after wiping data and system the phone's not starting. Stuck on optimizing apps screen.

Lenovo A6000 and j5(2015) are very simmilar devices(msm8916, CPU and GPU)
adding the proper symlink's in etc/firmware solved the sim, wifi,basic-audio and other was enough
also is posible to be need to add the files related to the network(libril.so for example)
you can send me the modem.bin and NON-HLOS.bin from your stok rom and i will try to fix the rom for j5007

Sir the rom work properly on my model J5007 ^_^ it detected my sim card thank u for the rom again and for ya hard work really waited for this one <3 .
Where can i find NON-HLOS.bin ?? i need some help fixin the sim bugs on other rom that i have if possible

sir gallery wont detect my pictures already set storage to extternal but music does detect my songs

for pictures swipe to left or press "Albums"
for music press setings> advanced setings> by folder and select the folders or partitions
Nice work.. if the headset worked properly I would use this rom

Music is workin fine. i tried slidin it even clear the data it wont appear then i tried copyin a sample pic to internal storage and it detects it but the storage label was "sdcard" not internal. it wont detect my pictures on sd card. can a workaround work ? is there a workaround

is there a way to fix it and i tried cameringo changing reso of camera cant le me save pictures even other camera apps wont make me save the picture i capture
