When you said you replaced the motherboard, doesnt that mean you have the original lcd and mobo, but in the other phone housing?
Make sure all the connectors are connected properly, disassemble and reassemble

htc touch plus digitizer problem

thanks
Touch Dual digitizer
Hi Saliml2
Not convinced it is a software issue. My digitizer on T-Mobile Touch Plus did the same thing. It stated behaving erratically and then stopped responding altogether. I replaced the digitizer (via eBay) and it work for a few days and then stopped again.
I have read around the internet and have tried several ROM updates etc (currently running a WM 6.5.5 found in other area of this forum) but this has not solved the problem.
It seem to be an alignment issue - i.e. screen alignment is outside the screen area, but there seems to be no way of getting it back. Could be a fault on the phone mainboard (?) but there doesn't seem to be any info around apart from sending it to HTC for repair (not viable as the phone value negates this)
My phone is still not working, I might try opening it up again and reseating the digitizer cable but have done this twice already.
Have you try change the flex cable?
I had one to, with the same problem, and after changing the flex everything was ok...
Good luck!
Hi Amokh Just to clarify, what is the flex cable? The digitizer has a cable already attached to it that plugs in to a zif connector on the mainboard - I assume that this controls the data flow for the digitizer.
Any help would be appreciated.

How to test an I9300 motherboard without a screen?

Hello guys,
Is there any way to test an i9300 board without a LCD screen?
I have one here but I don't have any working LCD (the one I have is totally wasted).
I wish to know if it is still working so I can buy the screen+digitalizer kit to fix it.
Any ideas?
EDIT
Haha, I just realized to put it in a USB port of my computer. It lit up the front lights (from the menu/back) and my PC found it.

Dead antenna receptor [i9305]

Hello, I bought a motherboard on Aliexpress of a i9305 phone. The thing is it was supposed to be brand new, but Ias getting very bad data connection and the network cut off during calls etc.
So I decide to open my phone back and have a look, and when disconnecting the wifi antenna the socket got scratched off the board. I got refunded but it doesn't repair my phone. So i'm trying to figure it out. Here is a picture of what it looks like now
And here is a picture of what it should look like (it is a motherboard from a friend, to see how it should be in reality)
Where could I solder the antenna ? Is there any solution ? Thank yoou very much !!
(I'm sorry I can't ^post any picture as I have less than 10 posts on the site... Sincerely sorry any help appreciated !!!)

Hello Dickybow,
I don't know whether this would help you, but according to the HCT FCC document mentioned at https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/gps-issues-demystified-t3707934 the wifi antenna is ANT5. So if you could check out whether the motherboard contact points is touching the rear cover's wifi antenna or not. And also check that the phone is tight screwed so there won't be any gap.
I think that since you replaced the screen, that maybe the back cover isn't seated good or perhaps screws not tight enough (hopefully)
You could also try to push the rear cover on that antenna spot :silly:
Thankyou for your response - now fixed
One end of the black ribbon cable that runs across the mainboard must have come unattached during disassembly - refitted and now back to normal !
