open camera,go to settings and choose 1280x720p..but that is just a waste of memory..we dont have camera libs to have 720p..its a placebo effect..fps on recording are the same than 480p kernel..so you lose 30 mb free ram..for nothing.:good:
Great Job
Thanks for this great to rom. I am very impressed. I was concentrated on my other phones and long time flashed my xperia.
This rom is clean, stable and has much potential.
Thank you very much

Hello,

well it depends surely on kernel..rom is clean but you can try this settings on cpu:
1209max 249min intellidemand /smartass v2 on SIO/NOOP. let the rom settle for a day at least and make a full charge..then see if the battery performs better.

Hello and thanks for the port
I'd like to ask if you're going to port version 3.20 anytime soon? I just want to know if I should wait for that or just flash away now.
And also a second question : Which do you think is faster performance-wise, stock AOSP or SlimBean? Which is lighter and which performs better?
Anyways thanks again for your effort and I hope you keep updating

So far I've used it for a full day and the ROM has its ups and downs.
First off, it's not as fast as I had expected, comparing it to FXP208. Maybe that was just me, but performance is pretty bad sometimes.
I saw you had some useless scripts in the init.d folder like the minfree one and as far as I know it needs its values from the corresponding setting in Performance settings.
Though at some times it's incredibly smooth and at other times it's really laggy. I personally think it could be some sysctl values or minfrees, but I can't be sure. So far I think the ROM is great and I would absolutely recommend it, though the performance inconsistency is kind of a bummer.
Thanks for your effort

So I just tried it! And I agree, it is super snappy!
But actually for me the settings are just too full! Only English as language is also a little bit poor..
I just did a short five minute test and it actually looks good. It's not my taste, I prefer the simplicity of stock CM ;D
Nevertheless thank you very much! The more ROMs we have, the better ;D
Thank you dark ryder. Will test this ROM soon. :good:

I tried to make S2E work on this but it failed. There are versions compatible with JB 4.2.2. I flashed S2E and also sd-mount script. ext-sd was mounted on boot and I checked move data from S2E and rebooted. The data was never moved to sd-ext as expected. It is working with Super Jelly Bean v4 ROM flawlessly.
@dark ryder do you have any idea what would be the cause and probably possible fix?

Guys, before flashing this, note that this rom IS NOT REALLY COMPILED FROM SOURCE, NO LINARO TOOLCHAIN USED SO!Just open build.prop/kernel info and you'll see that the rom is built by fxp. He just took the fxp zip, deleted some apk/ringtones and relesead it!If you open performance scripts you'll see that are not made by him also! And no credit given/permission asked!

I've posted it on 13th June, he edited the OP on 14th. Read first, then think and post
I'll also explain you why I said that: these are some screens of smoothbean for xperia P, but the same happened on XS,XU,XSola and XGo: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/850/screenshot2013061200414.png/ Kernel it's built by fxp, not by him.
And the build.prop is exactly the same as fxp 223: http://i.imgur.com/osTaE7u.png?1 100% impossibile when you build from source that you've the same build date, same name of computer...
Ok, sorry my bad, I went on vacation and return just yesterday... so I tought is fresh...
And yeah, vacation without network coverage, great stuff

Fully compiled from source ( https://github.com/SlimRoms).
It contains mods and interesting ones from CM/AOKP.
Multilanguage support.
Read the change log and installation instructions carefully.
Features:
Slimbean ROM (www.slimroms.net) was founded with the Introduction of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean bringing the AOSP with famous cherry picks from CyanogenMod, CNA and AOKP code. As the name suggests for itself, this ROM is slimmed out, removing all the useless stuff. Slimbean ROMs are very little in size ~90MB but please don’t go on its size, since someone rightly said; “big surprises come in small packages“. The ROM features ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) based on the CNA Settings layout which can be viewed under System Settings of your device. ASS offers its users with high end modifications and custom features like Interface, Performance, Theme Engine support and Device Settings modifications. Apart from the features that this ROM delivers, it also provides you with Stability, appreciable battery life and performance.

Looks promissing, downloading it right now, high hopes!
I am big fan of Slim Roms since SlimCM.
Mostly because of their better RAM Management.

I've been using this rom for hours now and it works great ! Very smooth !
Thanks ! :good:
Btw, can fix reverse camera in your next build with the available fix ?
For now, in my opinion, this is the best CM10 Rom (even better than CM10.1 and it's ram management...)

Awesomeness² *-* One more question, I know it's not cool to ask about it but how long does the ROM need to upload yet?

I have 512kbps connection , so if we consider 40-50 KB/s upload rate it will take about 1 h (133 MB initial size). currently 35% uploaded.
i've been developed this ROM before, but good job sir! you fixed all of CM/Slimbean bugs

Thanks for reporting. But i just wanted to tell you that there are other slim ports in XDA. Please report their thread too.
and I request you to make slim rom from source if you have some spare time for Xperia sola.
To Xperia Sola users , I don't want any thanks, money or fame . i just wanted to increase knowledge and wanted this rom on Xperia sola.
To Mod , Instead of deleting thread just lock it and remove Download link. Don't delete this thread.
Thanks for reading this message.
