CM11 3/06 Build Problems - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I did a clean install of the latest Cyanogen Mod today and I'm having some issues. It says digital roaming (I know about the bug) but I do not have any data connection at all and I can't seem to toggle data on and off, it is displayed as constantly on on the taskbar. Also people are not receiving my texts messages but they are supposedly being sent out, I can receive theirs however.... Phone calls work fine as far as I can tell. I switch over to the stock ROM and everything works fine so I know its not some sort of Sprint outage. Anyone else experiencing this?

There is a thread for these questions here:

[Q] Random Missing Texts

So this is an issue that I have seen many a variation on, but none quite like this. The issue is that some texts from folks I receive fine others are sporadic. It seems to vary from day to day and person to person. I can receive a text from someone and respond then not get any other from that person after. Others I gave been able to receive from in the past but do not receive now. I am running GSB 2.2 with the latest vzw radio for the Eris (2.42.01.04.27), using GO sms with the stock messenger installed, but notifications turned off. I've tried a reflash, Full wipe and Flash, *22899, APN backup from a 2.1 rom, tried the spn provided by roirraW "edor" ehT no change. This has happened with chomp also. I am at a loss. It's a shame, because work shed has made a awesome phone out of my little Eris. Any thoughts?
Missing Texts solved
After some experimentation on my part I have discovered that as GoSMS states in its help section, you can remove the stock application but is not recommended. That'll teach me to read more closely before removing apps . So a heads up for all you GOSMS users out there. leave the stock app installed. I have had zero issues with texts since I updated to a newer version of GSB, which reinstalled the stock sms app.

No more Texting :(

So I found out that nobody is receiving my texts anymore on my vibrant. I upgraded to cm7 worked great then I did the nightly upgrade and it will still say its sent but people don't receive them. So I wiped everything started again upgraded to miui and I still have the same problem. Could there be something wrong with my network settings I messed with the testing setting a little (you know the *#*#4636#*#*) when i was tryin to fix the battery drain on cm7 which i never did
Make sure that your APNs are set correctly. There is one in there for data and wireless and also one for MMS. I find that when I have had problems like this in the past it has been due to those SMS/MMS settings being missed.
If i were you i'd just give TMO a call and ask what your APN is just to be sure that its not different or anything...
If i had this problem on more than one rom, i'd panic and do that right away.
I used to be a text-er like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
I sure hope, I'm not having the same problem.

[Q] P769 Call Problem

Short version:
The phone works good initially, but once I move out of Wifi (so that phone's data connection takes over) and move back in, calls stop working. No incoming calls, no outgoing calls. data, incoming texts all work fine. Just no calls. I even get the text from the service provider that I missed a call.
This happens in stock 20d, 20f, 20h, and CM10.2.
Has this happened to anybody else? Did the delay in installing radio_fix (see below) caused the problem?
Long version (history):
I used carloswii5's method to unlock bootloader (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277639), and load CM10.2.
At the end of the method, I forgot to install radio_fix and used the device for a couple of hours, all the while wondering why the radio seems very weak and why I am going in and out coverage in the middle of this metropolitan area.
I eventually realized that I forgot the radio_fix.zip and installed it. The phone started working properly at that point, with signal levels comparable to other phones.
The trouble starts when I move out of Wifi area and THEN MOVE BACK INTO (OR MOVE INTO SOME OTHER) WIFI area. At that point, I am unable to make or receive calls. Outgoing calls do not result in any tones at all. Incoming calls get a number-unobtainable tone (beep beep). It doesn't matter if I then turn off the WIFI. The calls will not restart until I restart the phone.
I then went to CMahendra's CWM backups thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136204) and installed 20d, 20f and 20h one after another, and then back to CM10.2 The exact same thing happens in all the versions of stock and CM.
I am on Lycamobile. Stock versions recognize the SIM correctly as Lycamobile while CM10.2 thinks it is T-Mobile. It doesn't matter though, since both the coverage and eventual issue of 'no calls' is the same in both versions.

I recommend performing an offline flash of 20h to install the proper radio. Or do a search in the threads for the 20f flashable zip by lelus. If you still have problems it might just be your phone.

I did an offline update with V20f_00.kdz. The issue persists. The strange thing is, data continues to work and text messages come in, but only calls fail to come/go.

You must have a hardware problem or maybe it's the area you're in.

Other people have reported the same problem on cm 10.2. I wouldn't be surprised if t mobile ****ed up on on their radio blobs.

Can't Receive MMS While Connected to WiFi

USA TA-1085 here, had this issue since I've had the phone. I'm on an AT&T post-paid plan and I can't send or receive MMS, whether it's a picture or a group text, while connected to WiFi. If WiFi is switched off or not connected to a network, MMS functions seamlessly. If connected to a network, Android Messages will prompt me to download, and it'll spin for awhile and then time out. I've tried other messaging apps like Textra with no results. My APN settings are the same as my previous phone (Moto G5+)
Nokia Support had me delete a lot of system app data, toggle battery saver, and nothing worked. They only indicated that a solution may be presented through an app or system update, that they report bugs to Google with a request for resolution, that updates "usually come every month" and "most likely within November I should receive it." For what it's worth, that's a similar response I got to issues with Smart Lock, and those issues have since been resolved.
Has anyone else seen a similar issue and fixed it?
I just tried this on my 7.1 and had no issues. I sent an mms from a MintMobile device to my 7.1 on AT&T and it worked with the WiFi connected. I know this doesn't really help but I'm just letting you know as another data point.
I had issues with MMS in general. I removed all the APNs, created a new one with all the proper TMobile info, and installed Textra (which I own). No issues since then.
Oddly, I wasn't aware I may have been having MMS issues but while I was checking the APN for LTE connection I messed something up and lost connection completely and reset my APN's to default. This prompted an MMS message to be immediately delivered upon reconnecting which could have been a coincidence but after seeing this post and testing sending MMS messages to myself and friends, I have no issues now on T-Mobile on Wi-Fi or off.
Saw a thread in the Nokia 7.1 forum that links this behavior to WiFi calling. Is that enabled on your phone?

Temporary Fix for not Getting Texts/Calls on Custom ROMs

I stumbled across this while playing around with AquariOS Pie, I assume it should work for most custom ROMs (I have only tested it on AquaiOS though), if you have Verizon (again, might work for other carriers, but I have VZW so that's what I tested), this should allow you to send/receive texts with LTE enabled, normally the phone should connect to 3G/1X for Voice and texts & 4G/LTE for data, but it doesn't for me.
The easiest fix I found is to just make a call to voicemail every time you boot, then it connected to both 1X and 4G and worked fine until I reboot.
