I have a nokia 710 and trying to use with Simple Mobile, I couldn't get DATA working.
APN settings look simple, you just enter simple in APN section and re-start the phone but it doesn't work.
Any advice?
Use Nokia's "Network Setup" app which should either be installed on your phone or under Nokia Collection in the marketplace.
erm...i think the problem is the network setup app itself.
my case was it cant / hardly able to connect using 3G data.
a member from the forum taught me to reset phone>uninstall network setup.
tada! 3G data is back to live!
I have a developers phone on t mobile and just got an update to the access point settings . Before I had the option of t mobile or simple apn setting. Now the options are t mobile apn or t mobile ipv6. Whats t mobile ipv6? Which one should I use? I have experimented with both and its been tough to tell the difference. Any help or advice would be great.

1. Are there any applications for auto recording the phone calls and blacklisting the contact numbers?
I saw this application but as I am having no internet / GPRS, I am not able to use this application.

Does downloading it on PC from other site creates / gives problems like virus etc.
2. I am trying to configure MTNL Delhi GPRS on my mobile but they don't have settings for pantech. Can anyone help in it too.
3. What are the main uses of rooting the phone and can it also make the phone dead?
4. What applications are not at all usefull in India which are set by default on the phone and how to remove them (without rooting) or just stopping them from the applications will do the job?
5. I have installed Avast on my mobile but am not able to update it as I don't have gprs, is there any offline update avlb. for avast for mobile security?

I am still waiting for the replies on the above, can't anyone help.....? Meanwhile I had installed auto call recorder but it is not able to record the voice of person on the other side. Pls suggest something good....
Can anyone help me with the APN settings please, I am in the UK, have been in touch with T-mobile / EE who really aren't helpful at all, it would be great to receive & send mms & haven't been able to do so for ages. I do apologise if this has been asked, I did scroll through a lot of pages.
go to settings - access point and activate mobile provider from list (if not activated) restart phone and mobile internet and MMS must working... in most case phone successfully load settings from SIM cards
or manually add new access point....
If seen some situations where the only way for it to fetch the apn for the card is to restore to factory defaults and with the card on the phone choose recomended settings on the first prompt. Try it if all else fails.

i upgrade my smartphone from an older lg g3 to s21. I am afraid that i can't download MMS image or other MMS attachement without enable mobile data.
Unfortunately i have only 50Mo mobile data, but i need to download MMS stuff.
From my use, S21 can download MMS attachement only if i enable mobile data, else sms app is crying about.
With mobile data toggled on, how can i ensure that only wifi data will be used ?
Maybe is there another way to not be charged out of package for fckn com data ?
PS: Have tried sms/mms standard app and google message app.

Well, it seems there is a discuss on the root cause : operator, samsung lock or mms device configuration ?
It's definitively an operator scam issue intented to charge you with MMS (even if it's in mobile plan) as mobile data.
So let know to your operator that you will close your plan immediatly, and some days after they will fix but they will never admit it.
