Possible, but unlikely.
Have you unlocked and tried to fastboot up a recovery or flash a ROM?
I hope so
Beginning of the problem when the phone is on the charger

Sorry, but I am not really sure what you are getting at here, I am guessing this is through Google Translate or something?
Is the problem when the phone is on the charger or does it not charge the battery properly? The only part I understand is that you are stuck at the white HTC logo screen, this means the kernel is not booting properly, the filesystem or boot.img is probably corrupt.
Can you get into fastboot mode? If so you can probably unlock and go from there. If you can get recovery to start, we can probably figure this out.

Hey,
I have an HTC One X+ with a little issue:
The phone does not boot up to a rom
I can access the boot loader (HBOOT 1.32)
ADB can't see it (Or I just suck with adb)
AAAaaaand recovery looks like its been wiped.
Help?
You can't use adb at hboot, you may only use fastboot (and only if the bootloader is unlocked). If your bootloader is indeed unlocked then you can use fastboot to flash a new recovery, and then use that recovery to flash a rom. How exactly did you manage to wipe the vast majority of your phone?

I've been reading up. I actually was handed this by a client. Never flashed a phone before, so was just picking up after them. Thanks very much for the fast reply. He says he was following a Youtube video.
On another note, whenever I try to flash the update.zip I get an error:
Archive does not contain 'android-info.txt'
Archive does not contain 'android-product.txt'
error: update package has no android-info.txt or android-product.txt
I imagine it's a fairly straight forward fix, I just don't know my way around (yet).
Tried dumping EMPTY *.txt files in. New error!
Archive does not contain 'boot.sig'
Archive does not contain 'recovery.img'
Archive does not contain 'system.img'
error: update package missing system.img
Help?
Do you know what the devices CID is? If not you can use the command "fastboot getvar cid" from fastboot. Once you know the cid, search the forum for the correct RUU. Once you have a compatible RUU, conect device to PC while in bootloader and run the RUU. This will restore stock firmare.
Also before you flash the RUU. Make sure the devices bootloader is locked. If it is unlocked. You can use the command "fastboot oem lock" to lock it.

If your phone is bricked this is what will happen. Your phone will shutdown immediately, refuse to start, and the LED will flash red and green when connected to a charger. If this is not happening, your phone is save. Now, clear all ROMs in your phone, make it empty, no ROM, no data. Then, lock the bootloader and flash the stock HTC ROM that can be found in the ROM's thread. This error could be because your flashed an AT&T ROM for an international model, or vice versa. Also, flashing mods that are not for stock ROM can lead to this problem. If this problem cannot be solved, then my advice is to forcefully brick your phone by flashing an incorrect recovery, then bring it to HTC and tell them that for some unknown reason the phone became very hot and stopped functioning. They will believe it as there is a very very powerful engine inside that phone that has every chance of overheating. Good Luck!

That's an outdated ROM. Consider getting the new ones that have arrived.

Still having that red blinking light issue. Problem is, it doesn't take a charge. When I connect the phone up to the wall, it just gets hot and the led blinks red. I've thought about removing the battery and wiring it directly to the charger, but I'd rather not void the warranty (more than I have already).
Thoughts?

u can try unplug turn off and on phone power button down volume down get to bootloader usb plug in and out ur charger while phone is booting to bootloader and get it to where it shows red not blinking let it sit i played with mine 2 days finaly got it back but its only the begaining..
AW: Powers off at boot, except bootloader
Are you unlocked and with custom recovery? If yes just go to recovery from boot loader and let it sit on the charger. Now it should charge unless you have some old twrp version with broken charging.

Yes they fixed off mod charging on twrp..that saved me..
Have you tried to flash the correspondent ROM kernel? In fastboot if you unplugged the usb wire, can you access the recovery mode (menu will change)? If so, which recovery and version it is?

When my HOX+ was blinking red I had to let it charge for a few hours before I could use it again. Did you wait long enough for it to take a decent charge?
A friend gave a phone to root and put a nice ROM.
I unlocked it via htcdev with no problem. when i tried to root it, nothing happened. i tried flashing the recovery and then SU but when i tried goint to recovery thru HBOOT the phone just showed me the logo and turned off. after several attempts i relocked and tried for RUU but then i could not charge. I ran the script for for few hours and tried reflashing and so on and on.
what my friend forgot to mention his HTC ONE X is a +
so, now i feel really stupid, but the phone won't turn on or charge.
can anyone help? i just need it on so i could fix this mess

after a little more reading I understand I'm totally bricked, and need to use JTAG? can anyone confirm this? and do you know if there is a service for the ONE X+?
as far as i understand things, if you try to flash wrong recovery on to the wrong phone it can really mess things up..
on my gf's galaxy s3 the touch screen fried after installing the wrong recovery so had to be sent to a lab to fix it.
there is a high chance that you fried your usb connector or something related.
dont think jtag will help in this situation... but doesnt hurt to try..
i am in no way expert in this... wait for someone more experienced to answer
and just for the future, something i learned the hard way, dont just listen to what the person handing you the phone saying.. he might say its galaxy s4 but can be the other variant and you can fry it..
always check under "about phone" what phone it really is!

Boot it into fastboot mode ( I guess that is possible, not sure- because I never flashed a wrong recovery :silly: ) - then flash the correct recovery...
If only it would be possible. That's the reason why I opened this in the first place, because I can't charge and boot the phone.

Hi I have an Huawei 8860 (honor),

Hello, so yesterday I tried to install stock ICS rom on my evo 3d and I forgot to update my firmware. So then I got a boot loop, and my phone has discharged. The problem is that my USB connection doesnt work ( I dont know why), but I have one rom in my sd card, so now I need to get to bootloader and then to recovery but I can't do that because my phone doesnt turn on . Any suggestions?

Strange to hear that you cannot charge the battery using the phone's charger or PC . But if that's the situation try to buy a universal battery dock , should cost you just a few bucks .
After that use Volume Down + Power to boot 3VO to bootloader .

hello,
I've a problem similar to that.
My rooted HTC evolution 3d hangs on the splash screen( HTC quietly brilliant).
I've tried to access bootloader, here is what I see:
"SHOOTER_U PVT SHIP S-ON RL
H-BOOT - 1.53.0007
eMMC-boot May 22 2012, 01.06.07"
When I try selecting recovery, it goes to a page in Chinese but a the top it has
"HTC EVO 3D GSM **** v.4.0.1.6 XDA"
the rest of the wording is actually Chinese so I can't risk selecting what I don't know.
Any help is welcome.
Thanks.
try changing your recovery. I would recommend you flash 4EXT recovery
make sure you have proper drivers installed on pc and the required adb.exe fastboot.exe etc files in the same folder as your recovery.img
Hi All,
I got my HTC one and was playing with it for some days and decided to root and make it a google play edition. I did the following steps
1. Unlocked BootLoader from HTCDEV
2. Rooted and did S-OFF (Using REVONE)
3. Was trying to update MID to the GPE and tried to flash the .zip having the MID, CID using HBOOT and phone froze at RUU
4. I did a reboot and now phone is not turning on.
When I connect it to my PC I could hear the sound of it recognizing my phone but nothing is showing up. ADB and FASTBOOT not recognizing the device.
Does it mean my phone is hard bricked>??
If so, is there a JTAG service for HTC one?? The bootloader is still unlocked and i wont get anything from HTC as my warranty is void
Please help!!

Did you flash eng hboot?
Did you flash the eng hboot? Isn't that the only way to change MID? or no? if you can try to boot into fastboot that way. I did the same thing with mine and thought i screwed it up. you should be able to rebootRUU and reflash the tmobile firmware to get you back on your way
Mine did the exact same thing. In fact I never saw the gray spotted screen. You just have to do a combination of button holds while plugging it in.. and it will boot. I had to hold mine for almost 2 straight minutes
You have to manually boot back into RUU mode..it has very specific instructions when flashing ehboot. Why would you go through all the trouble of a MID change when there are many awesome gpe roms? When I changed my mid I could only tell it was doing anything was because my computer made that connection ping.. otherwise the phone screen stayed completely black!!

Hi handman29,
I wanted the stock GPE ROM mainly for the direct OTA's from google. Could you please let me know how to manually bring back RUU
Does your phone show up when you type fastboot devices? If so you should be able to get back.
Edit: sorry didn't realize you said already.

I am sure this was run through a translator, but it was a very bad translation... I'll do the best I can.
If you reboot and the phone sticks at the White HTC screen, there is a problem with either the boot partition (kernel/boot image) or the internal storage chip. If the phone is unmodified, first thing to try is factory default in Hboot.
I am not sure what what you saying about "HBoot recovery remains light"
