[Q] Original stocks for odin - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was searching all over the internet and I couldnt find an original stock to flash with odin for my I9100. I have softly bricked my phone n I cant use CWM to flash unless theres a way to install files on the phone without turning it on(?).
Have people stoped using Odin?
Can someone help me with Official Israeli SGS2 Pelephone stock for Odin flash?

androidfirmwares.net

You're not searching in the right places. Samfirmware as well, Samsung-Updates.com

u can get the stock firmware (GB) pertained to ur region for I9100P either from www.sammobile.com or by typing Chekfus in google search
and flash the same thro ODIN
Thanx...i'll have a look
I flashed I9100PBVKI3_I9100PORAKI3_I9100PBVKI2 with odin v1.85 & this downgraded my phone to Gingerbread 2.3.4 (Orange).
I had to set up my internet & mms settings manually because i'm on the '3' network, other than that, all is running smoothly.
Hope this helps others that want to downgrade.

it is possible to downgrade your model. you can go to sammobile.com, make an account there (if you don't have one) and download. Flash the file via odin (if possible, use the latest version of odin).. this is the safest method i know.
Tip:
after unzipping the file you downloaded, you'll find a .tar file.. open odin (put your phone to download mode and connect it to pc) and click on the PDA button on odin and click on the .tar file you extracted.. click on start.
VOILA! you just flashed a stock firmware
I hope this helped
I have an account, but all that comes up is the ics firmware which I had already.
Didnt they have an unbranded firmware?.I wouldnt want carriers crap on my phone.

Downgrade is secure¿?¿¿

Go to www.sammobile.com to find the firmware and flash through Odin. Make sure you don't tick repartition or use a pit file unless you know 100 % what you're doing.

OK i KNOW
but it didn't help me
the files that are there are corrupt.
and the instructions they don't match, i don't know what to do there.
anyone knows how or where
anyone knows how or where can i download new recovery+kernel+pit file ?
or at least point me to the right files for me ?
coz in the mentioned thread the pit file is in the GB section and the recovery pack that i think i need'
are in the ics section and the kernel for the ICS is corrupt so i cant use it.
or is it ok to use syiah kernel instead ?
my problem is when i try to install new ROM it stops when trying to write the nand part.
Yiu going to have to download the whole rom and flash with odin

Put any firmware stock or custom to pda, dont touch anything else. Firmware must by .tar or .md5.
Here you can find roms http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1529173 or stock on sammobile.com.

thank you for your help but.
i tried this, cant flash a rom trough odin dont know why -something about the nand
If you are stuck at nand write whatever you have tried, i think its corrupted and its time to change your motherboard... This happened to another guy earlier on...

Have your problem been fixed ?

If you get a nand flashing error, then just use correct pit plus repartition marked... in most cases it is enough to just flash pit area, plus of cause a stock rom

You first need to register in order to download it. After that just key in the details and download the right firmware as Jeetu said. You can then follow the tutorial on galaxys2root.com to unroot your phone!

Stock firmware downloads

Hi all,
I'm trying to get back to stock 4.1.2 BTU firmware which I think ends xxemg4 but can't find a CWM flashable ROM download anywhere after much searching of the forum. I dont have access to a computer unfortunately so cant download the Odin compatible files and can only flash via CWM. Anyone able to point me in the right direction or have a link?
Thanks in advance!
