I have like 3 small apps installed, and my app storage is full, all the updates to the stock apps have used up all my space.
What can I do?
I'm .still on 4.1.1 so maybe a stock 4.3 Rom with out all the oem bloat? Recommend roms?
Could really use some help.
Yeah I say run the newest stock ruu. The partition layout will give you more space.

First off I just want to say that I haven't dabbled in this kinda stuff since my original EVO, so I'm sitting here and I'm trying to figure out why I can't get this pj75img to flash, its a new firmware and recovery needed for my selected Rom.
So I'm s-on and I'm thinking that is my problem, easiest methods?
Thanks.

With temp root you can freeze the Verizon bloatware. It will stay frozen after you reboot and lose root access, although the market may try to update it anyway. You can also restore Titanium backups while you have temporary root if you want to restore data to a particular set of apps from your prior phone.

It allows you to not go crazy waiting for permanent root.. I used it to clean out crap, oc the stock kernel.. Mostly though it helps the end user not freak out as much..
Edit: stuck. Let's make sure we keep this one going.

To my knowledge, they are the same. I used Nils', and it worked for about 5 minutes. Sadly, not enough time to get the crap frozen.

I had to do that too.
It seems USB debugging enabled causes that.
Ok I bricked my phone somehow,, and was able factory reset it. Somehow when I did the root, it lost the radio..
There are lots of threads/comments/etc. on the Temp Root being unstable (to put it kindly). Essentially, it works best if you reboot your phone then kill all tasks (including HTC Sense, etc.) Then, run the Temp Root and work quickly to Freeze apps and/or restore as for most people, Temp Root is lost within seconds or about a minute.
For now I am just biding my time hoping that S-Off comes so i can fully restore and de-bloat. I actually got a boot loop last time I tried to Temp Root and had to factory reset, so I don't trust it.

if you are experiencing root issues download chainsdd's flashable zip and flash in recovery and that should fix any binary issues which i believed was an issue with these ics roms, but i made sure to put the current stuff on it.
I just bought a used rezound and it is currently running cleanrom 3.7 which is the 3.11.605.1 build. Can I just flash this over top after wiping everything? I'm a newb to the rezound but not to rooting so please excuse me if this seems like a common sense question. Thanks.

You have to flash the boot.img through fastboot for it to boot if you're on the 1.15 HBOOT with S-ON (there are also other methods, but that's the most basic one everyone should learn).
This is my daily driver. Thanks!

Did you try to do the htc dev unlock? With that, and some of the other posts around here, you can get root....but you won't be able to get S-Off. It's not a huge problem -- you can still do most of what you want, but if you have hboot 1.15 or higher, you have to wait until they find an exploit.
There is no current way to downgrade.

By downgrade I mean downgrade the default stock ROM if you want to call it that. If you thought Android then, well...
The only relevant downgrade would be an H-boot so that you can gain S-OFF. At this time it is not possible. Thats what everyone thought you were talking about doing.
You can always just flash a ROM on the old base if thats what you wanted to do.

If you are on the new H-boot and want to root just use HTC DEV. Then you can put on a custom recovery and do as you please
