Im trying to get xposed on my phone. I am running the 4.3 update and rooted with superSU. I've given xposed root permissions and all but when I click install the phone force reboots and then it's not installed when it comes back from restarting. Greenify has no problems with root so I don't think it's a root issue.

Im trying to install viper4android which requires busybox, but i get the error busybox installation was not sucessful, try installing in a new location. Ive tried bin and xbin, multiple versions and it still doesnt work. Titanium backup says im rooted and i can grant privledges with SuperSU, although i cant update binaries on supersu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Bump
Have you tried reinstalling root
Sometimes root doesnt fully work properly after installing so doing some things which require root may fail.
I havent rerooted after updating to 4.4.4 because there is no easy way to do it yet.
Has anyone had any luck getting Magisk installed and working on a custom rom yet? I tried it on the CM13 Rom but root would just turn back on within a second. link for Magisk install http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mod-magisk-v1-universal-systemless-t3432382
Thank you
Wait until Magisk V7 is released.
Its states under known issues "HTC One M9 (yes, this particular device): sepolicy issues, should be fixed in v7" .
If you have a twrp backup of a rom that has the last build in it go to the app store and download an apk backup app and backup the pokemon go.apk and reinstall it in a newer rom build and don't do the update. Older version is still working until they finish rolling out the update.
Just to give an update on this....
I used BadBoys rom and I went into SuperSU and did UNINSTALL UNROOT... Which is the first step you need to do for Magisk.... This allowed me to PASS the Safetynet TEST... I can reverse this in moments since I am S-OFF by reinstalling SuperSU and reflash the binary from TWRP
*****So I am under the impression that when Magisk v7 comes out and works for this phone. It "Should" work with BadBoys. Until then I am just reinstalling SuperSU when I need it
I've gotten magisk to boot up once with phh superuser. However as soon as I tried to flash the systemless xposed from twrp. I would get stuck in a boot loop. I was unable to get it to boot up anytime I flash magisk now. I am S on but I don't think that should do anything with the rom.
Magisk works great on my Nexus 7

Another update
http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/mod-magisk-v1-universal-systemless-t3432382
As you can see above today we still only have Magisk v6 and not v7 which we need to work with this phone model.... I will update again as soon as I can test v7 which they are still working on.
I tried installing xprivacy from the playstore and followed the instructions. The install/update button in Xposed framework never worked. My android version is kitkat 4.4.4 and of course the device is rooted. Need some help here.
Other xposed modulues working fine?
Hi I just bought a Tab S3. I installed Magisk v15.2, which runs fine. But if I install the Xposed framework module in Magisk, it got stuck when I reboot. I then tried installing the standalone Xposed. But it does not ask for super user privilege and gravitybox says its system framework not responding.
Does anybody know how to get both Magisk and Xposed running on Tab S3?

Just read yesterday xposed has been released for nougat and Oreo. Check the official xposed thread for more info.
Also, check the magisk support thread for more on your issue.
I have both up and running flawlessly.
You may want to clear dalvik-cache as some stock dalvik-cache pieces comes along with stock ROM and they are not optimized to work along with xposed.
After that you may have to wait patiently on "Samsung" screen for even 15 minutes as dalvik-cache has to be rebuilt from scratch, and samsung decided to hide the "Optimizing apps x of y..." popup.
Also when it comes to xposed it's always a good idea to deodex the rom first.
PS i have tried with permissive kernel only. Stock Samsung kernel forces some crazy security like auto reboot of the whole device on "setenforce" command, which may interfere in that custom stuff you want to flash.

I didnt even know Magisk was an option... You just TWRP flash Magisk, and that was it?
I have rooted my phone with CF auto root and Odin, everything was successful but I have several banking apps that don't work with root and I have tried magisk to hide it but I don't want to mess with twrp, so I ended up uninstalling root via supersu. I thought everything went fine but when I went to Google play and tried to search for Netflix or revolut it said that my device is not supported for some reason. Also in one of my banking apps I've used a biometrics scanner and now it failed to use it and I got the message. Your device has su binary or something like that. How do I fix it? How do I completely remove root without twrp or factory reset?

there's 2 option
1)Flash Magisk using twrp and hide root
2)Reflash stock firmware but you will lose all data

Damn that sucks then, I don't want to use twrp and when I tried to install magisk via magisk manager even with boot img I couldn't make it to work, the magisk app always were on magisk is not installed, guess I'll stick to downloading certain bank apps from Aptoide or something because that works apparently. Unless someone will be able to help me with magisk installation via ota (inside the app itself) and not via twrp
