Im trying to get xposed on my phone. I am running the 4.3 update and rooted with superSU. I've given xposed root permissions and all but when I click install the phone force reboots and then it's not installed when it comes back from restarting. Greenify has no problems with root so I don't think it's a root issue.
Hey guys,
The last couple days I've tried to install Xposed framework with Lineage 14.1, using the official installer app. It gets downloaded successfully, then gives me a message saying that the framework will be installed as soon as a press "OK" and reboot to recovery. But when I do that and then reboot the system, I open the Xposed installer and it says that the framework isn't installed.
Anyone else tried installing Xposed with Lineage 14.1?
Hi I just bought a Tab S3. I installed Magisk v15.2, which runs fine. But if I install the Xposed framework module in Magisk, it got stuck when I reboot. I then tried installing the standalone Xposed. But it does not ask for super user privilege and gravitybox says its system framework not responding.
Does anybody know how to get both Magisk and Xposed running on Tab S3?

Just read yesterday xposed has been released for nougat and Oreo. Check the official xposed thread for more info.
Also, check the magisk support thread for more on your issue.
I have both up and running flawlessly.
You may want to clear dalvik-cache as some stock dalvik-cache pieces comes along with stock ROM and they are not optimized to work along with xposed.
After that you may have to wait patiently on "Samsung" screen for even 15 minutes as dalvik-cache has to be rebuilt from scratch, and samsung decided to hide the "Optimizing apps x of y..." popup.
Also when it comes to xposed it's always a good idea to deodex the rom first.
PS i have tried with permissive kernel only. Stock Samsung kernel forces some crazy security like auto reboot of the whole device on "setenforce" command, which may interfere in that custom stuff you want to flash.

I didnt even know Magisk was an option... You just TWRP flash Magisk, and that was it?
So again I tried to install EdXposed on the Umidigi F1. I tried a newer Beta version but unfortunately it did not work. I got stuck on bootloop but when I got out of it the system was hanging, not to mention it shut down completely the cellphone function and deleted the camera app. So I guess it's a no go, unless someone has manged to make it work I would like to hear how they did it. I think our phone would improve a lot with Xposed and Gravity Box. considering how simple the Pie version it is running. BTW still running UMIDIGI _F1_V1.0_20190124

Hi Dave, don't understand your problem, maybe it's the ROM version or something with rooting went wrong. Anyway, here is the procedure which worked for me: Install ROM 20190316, unlock the phone, install TWRP, reboot and clear data an caches, install Magisk V19.3, now install Riru-Core from Magisk download menu, reboot, install Riru Sandhook, install EdXposed manager apk (download from Github), reboot, start EdXposed manager and install Gravitybox from EdXposed download menu. Don't forget to activate the plugin in "modules" and reboot. After that you have to re-install all your programs. Well the procedure took me at least 3 hours, but finaly it worked for me (see attached screenshots), your miles may vary...

Did you get it to work as I'm getting installation failed every time I try
I want to install Xposed Framework using Magisk on my rooted SM-T820 but I get a message about the possibility of bricking or going into a boot loop. Has anyone installed Xposed Framework on their SM-T820 without problems?
