Anytime I update a non stock app (ex. Facebook, Shazam, etc) that has a widget a duplicate appears in my widget drawer. Only remedy I found is to uninstall then reinstall the app, or reboot the phone. Anyone have this issue?

Does anyone know of a ROM, MOD, or app that allows the user to hide apps in the Sense app drawer? That's pretty much the only reason I use a third-party launcher, now that Sense 3.6 has folders...

Probably not the option you want, but if you never use an app you can "freeze" it using titanium backup and that will hide it from the drawer.
That's what I do with the stocks app and such. It let's me use sense and get rid/hide a few apps I never use.
Would be a cool mod if someone could make a selectable list for the app drawer. Hopefully Htc adds the functionality some day.

As far as I know, there is a file that controls what is seen in the tray but it's only read during the first boot after a rom install.
I believe the only way you can "hide" apps is by disabling them. You can do this by going into Settings>Apps and select whichever app you want to disable.
This will remove the apps from being seen in your app drawer and prevent them from being active.
Is there anyway that I can get the stock email widget to look just like the gmail widget?
Sorry I can't help. But I have wondered the same thing.

Download a Gmail icon (search on XDA for many icons) and then go to Google Play and download Desktop Visualizer and you should be able to sort it :good:
You can also change icons if you use Apex Launcher.

Hi all,
Just wondering g if anyone can help.
For some reason yesterday my gallery started showing all homescreen apps as folders in the gallery. They all appear as single folders with 1 image, the app icon image. So now instead of the 2 or 3 folders I used to have I know have about 80!
Does anyone know how to fix this or what's caused it?
I'm using nova launcher pro if that makes a difference.

Its not really a fix but more a work around:
Download quickpic from the market and highlight the folders and select "hide" then they won't be visible in the normal gallery I think you can uninstall quickpic once they're hidden

Does it happen only with homescreen apps? I don't know nova launcher, maybe it keeps a cache with the images of homescreen apps.
Otherwise, do as indicated in the previous post, i've yet to find a better gallery than quickpick.
On touchwiz.. As of now, I can remove dock and lockscreen labels (although, the dock apps arent centered very well now)< anyfix for that would be appreciated]. Besides the use of a third party launcher and desktop visualizer, is there any way to remove these labels from homescreen and app drawer? As in, root explorer, adding or removing lines, etc.. Help a bro out. There are a lot of people who would like to know this as well.

When i'm in the system (non-oui) launcher and i drag an icon of a system app to the top to remove it, i get an error that it can't be removed. However the icon still disappears from the homescreens for some apps. The app is still visible in the app manager in settings and an icon can be added to the oui interface. The app isn't disabled
Can anyone tell me how i can get all invisible app icons back in my homescreens? I have a 1gb/8gb 2100mhz developers edition model with the latest stock software.
As a temporary solution i've installed an app drawer app...

You tried to change launcher?
My watch is stuck on custom so I'm not 100% sure....

In app manager find the launcher and clear its data.this simply refresh the launcher and make it create lost icons again.
