Sorry if this has been answered before, i did a search, but couldnt find anything.
But i have been having problems with the heros media player. I am running modacos latest rom, But for instance when i open Last.fm, The heros build in media player wil open and skip through the first 5 seconds or so of some random tracks. This also happens occationally while i am just lisning to music with the build in media player as well. It is getting realy annoying, yet i cant work out why it is happening. I can only think it is conflicting with something. It seems to do this when ever i use a different media player. (last fm, lyricwiki, etc) Please help? I want to still be able to use last fm and stuff...

hmm my hero is on it's way therefore i'm here in this forum.. i have the exact same problem as you but this is on the diamond 2 with windows mobile..
I'm thinking that it might have something to do with the sync of music.. Are you using wmp to sync?
I installed last.fm and the hero media player skipped like Skippy the kangaroo. found that Last.fm was integrating and doing something in the background . uninstalled, rebooted to stop the background process, NO MORE skipping. Woo. diddnt like last.fm anyways, too long buffering times.
bad last.fm,
Its not skipping.. its pure randomness. track skipping, fastforwarding, you name it, it does it randomly. Its retarded. And makes the hero completly useless as a media player....
Uninstall last.fm and install tunewiki and see if the problem persists.

Hey guys.why is my sgs2 interrupting my music at random moments to read usb media on the phone? Has this happened to anyone?

Apparently this is a known bug for the stock music player on the SGS2. Has anyone managed to fix it?
Winamp and other apps don't seem to have this kind of problem at all.

Next time this happens, try resetting the Media Storage in the All Apps section of the Settings. This will force the device to rescan your sd cards to re-catalog your media... Yours was a bit slow to do this fuction I guess... ^_^
I'm having issues when playing back music on my HTC one using the stock music player. The playback works fine for a couple of tracks but then the music just keeps skipping on to the next track. The skipping is infinite and won't stop. Even after I kill the app and try to restart the music, the skipping continues. I'm forced to reboot the device and kill all apps running on the phone to stop the skipping, however, even after the reboot when I restart the music player, after a few songs the problem continues. In my search for a fix of the issue I've noticed this to be an issue on the HTC one x. I've tried the disable auto play app as well as trying to use the phone in airplane mode but neither of those fixes have helped. This issue occurs when I'm using the stock headphones and the stock music player. This phone has been otherwise great but I do use my phone as a music player with headphones so I'm hoping someone here can help me out or if not I'm wondering if I should try and have it replaced under warranty since the phone is less than a month old. Thanks in advance for the assistance with this issue.
I'm having the same issue. Anyone? I've also experienced issues with audio studdering badly when streaming. Bandwidth isn't the issue, I know that much... It's especially bad with Pandora

i use isyncr to transfer and sync music between the HTC One and iTunes ... this happened to me once when the app didnt upload my songs correctly and messed up the playlist files. ... erase all songs and start over again .. see if that helps ... it seemed to help me ..
