Hi,
I need to downgrade my galaxy 2 : I am looking for a rom before android 4.0, Gingerbread, that is compatible with cf-root.
Can you advise me please, I would need the Rom and corresponding version of cf-root ? (I have cwm so I can flash directly).
Thank you !

i am new in andriod word so i do not much about it
i was trying to root my SGS2 but it's not allowed for rooting so that now i want to rest to the stock binary
I still don't get it. Rooting is not allowed? Says who? When? What? Use the same method as with the custom kernel flash, but swap the file with the stock kernel linked earlier.

when i try to root the device gave me ( Automatic Version Check Failed. Is you OS version 2.0 or higher?
Yes No or Cancel)
i press yes then he said it's failed
so that now i want to rest to default binary

Easiest way to root is to flash a rooted kernel, such as CF-Root kernel.
Here is the thread => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&highlight=CF+Root
In Post #8 you will find CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_LPG-v5.5-CWM5.zip which will work fine for your ROM.
Just download this kernel and flash it with Odin to your phone - as described in the first post.
If you want to remove the yellow triangle and reset the flash counter after flashing the CF-Root kernel, just use TriangleAway app from Chainfire (there is a link to it in the first post).
Good luck !

is it poosible to go to previous kernal after rooting?
also if you are planning to use other carrier make sure you have an unlock phone. If not, go to PLay Store and download Galaxy S2 unlock app.
You mean stock kernel? Yes, but only by flashing stock Samsung firmware.

That's not true. You can just flash the stock kernel without flashing the entire firmware.

Download a stock kernel, flash it in Odin. Not rocket surgery. You got your hand held on the first page & a half of this thread, time for you to do some reading/learning on your own; Stickies.
