Hi all! In LG Optimus L7 (P700) thread we need some serious help. Our phone has a lot potential for development but unfortunately we luck from developers. The only thing we have is proper rootin tool but we don't have custom recovery yet...As a result, we can't port Rom's and we can't have the benefits of a custom recovery...Is there any developer willing to help us? There are a lot people in thread willing to try and test your effort in our phone and of course willing to donate! Here is our development thread but we only got working root tool for v10i. It's just funny that from what I saw (sorry I checked your info) you are from Australia and in my previous phone (Galaxy 3 i5800) an Australian guy was one of the main developers! Hooray for Australia!!!

Question for YOU though, how did you root? I'm on the latest update, I'll have to check later, but if I downgrade to root, do I lose my data?

No need to downgrade anymore...There is working tool here for v10i ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32031942#post32031942 and in my signature you will find the hard way for root...

you are lucky man,
finaly it works now follow the instructions on the thread below but be warned: it's the first try to get CWM on th LG Optimus L7 and there may be some bugs so you do this on your own risk of course. But for mine there was no problem with this procedure. So thanks to the Guys who makes this possible.

I would agree with you however he has not updated that page since October 13, 2013. I have e-mailed him my P769v10e nandroid backup and he didn't respond so I just made a new thread for it. I hate people making threads just for something like this. . .there should be a way that you can delete your own thread if you choose to.

Hi, i bought my Z2 today (Claro and Vivo at Morumbi Shopping already are selling it for some days now) but i'm frustrated to find out i'm 2 versions behind the rest of the world and there are no upgrades through official methods, so i want to know if someone has already the upgrade.
I also want to know if there is anyway to root .55, beacuse all the methods i'm seeing here are for .402.

And you are using Android Development thread to ask that?
Use Q&A or General for this things...
All rooting methods are for 55/69, there are methods for 402 as well but first one and the one from xsasha and Doom is for 55.
You just have to read and search.
You can root your firmware using Doom rooting method, install recovery and 402 from [NUT] it's actually not impossible to miss that thread..
Also, if you Google your problem you'll find solutions all over the XDA.
What you need is just a update pack (ETC) folder and TV support).
Google that and you'll find all solutions on Z1 section in ihackers thread ROM...
