Hello .
I have 2 tablets in this model, one is stuck on boot android logo , and the other one is ok working.
Same brand same model same operating sistem, same all .
I wonder if i make an backup from working tablet and then transfered the backup file to stuck tablet....can it be fix it ????
And if yes, how can i do this ???
thx in advance
Maybe it can be fixed. Looking into the specific model forum will get you more answers
Some general things you can try:
-factory reset from recovery mode. Search google to see how to
-reflashing a stock firmware
-Try making a nandroid backup from the working tablet and restore it in the broken one. Look into installing custom recoveries whih can make the task MUCH easier (you won't have to deal with dumping or creating the .img file).
As long as its the same model, the backup will be compatible with both.
-If factory reset, reflashing firmware or restoring backup doesn't work then its probably a hardware issue

Hi guys i'm new on this forum, i hope that this is the right section.
I've N9330 with firmware e1901 v77 gq2002tc, the same of this guidehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1966593&page=39
I cannot post directly on the guide because i've not 10 message, so i create this topic.
My troubleshooting starts when i decide to root my smartphone. I followed the guide but it not works properly for me. I've extracted scatter file with MTKdroidtool and then i use this scatter with the rom of Brunoand i put this in cellphone with Spflashtool, the programs says OK.
But when i try to start recovery mode comes only a white screen.
So i've tried with binary tool but it not works so i don't have superuser (for the program it's all ok), then i tried special mode of this tool (it is for tablet i've read), and when my android restart it was a semi resetted, i cannot install apps that i have also before the reset only newer apps. I cannot reset my phone with recovery(it no works) and with restore by settings (it not works).
So i tryed to put with flashtool original recovery of the link. IT NOT WORKS. aaa i'm going crazy
I have made before change recovery a backup but i don't know where is it on sd. What can i do????
Sorry for my bad english
The backup is in .backup and it is only of user data. Now if someone give me help or his recovery image..
I want only wipe all data or install su. Please help without my Android i'm lost:crying:
Si there a way to wipe without recovery nor settings?
Finally i ve found my stock ROM. I can flash it with spflashtool bit i m scared if brick my phone. I want only chance recovery. I ve re ad that multi port is good for this. Here si the rom http ://
getwapi.com/ search/go.php? type=all&q=e1901 without space
It is possible that nobody have this problemi? This is only topic on e1901_v77_gq2002tc in english
am having the same kind of problem with same kind of device , i fail to get the rom you posted
help plz
Hello,
First of all, I'm new in this forum and I don't know if it's the right place to post this question
I've been through many researches on the web but I couldn't find a clear answer to my problem,
If someone has the resources to help me I'd be glad
So my problem is:
I wanted to install KatKiss ROM - Asus TF101 from this very forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592890
And I've started to follow the information given on the page : (if important I use ClockworkMod Recovery v3.1.0.1)
Backup everything !
Go to recovery
Make a full wipe / factory reset (you can skip this step if you're already on KatKiss-4.4, if ever you encounter a problem do the full wipe and try again before reporting )
Format /system
Flash the rom
Flash optional kernel
Flash gapps
Wipe cache/dalvik
Reboot
So I went through the first steps.
I made a factory reset (not with CWM but on the Android settings)
I didn't watched but I think it went ok.
When the Pad booted I couldn't access anymore to the real Android,
but I thought it was due to the manipulation I was doing
So to be sure the previous process wen well I made a full wipe/factory reset with CWM Recovery
I put all the zip files on a SD card that I put in the device,
I can access to the files on it
and as instructed I installed
KatKiss 4-4-2_023c.zip
KatKiss 4.4_AddOn_TF101G_Kernel_01.zip
gapps-KatKiss-4.4.2_20140221b.zip
When rebooting I couldn't acces anything but CWM.
Well I came to ask, what should I do, what should I check, what I shouldn't do?
I've tried to use the function Restore, because when I installed CWM I made a backup as instructed, but it seems to fail when I want to restore.
In need for answers, I thank you in advance for any piece of advice.
Since I got no answers I tried by myself some stuffs
I installed CyanogenMod 9.1.0-tf101 (only problem I can't connect to home wifi :good
I can access to the desktop of the tablet now (that's nice!)
But I have still some problems for which I'm looking answers.
In my reserches in found that the biggest mistake I made was to install Rom Manager (5.0.2.0) to access CWM
(Well, i'm a rookie...)
Now my best wish would be to run the tablet Katkiss 4.3 (i've seen that there were some compatible version for my TF101)
- How can I manage to get rid of Rom Manager ?
- How can I replace CMW by TWRP ? (It seems to be way better than RomManager & CWM)
- How to install
I don't understand all of the technical terms, Kernel Roms Drivers Flash Cyanogenmod Katkiss RomManager CWM TWRP what does what, i'm kind of lost, if any good samaritan read this I'd be so happy to have some advice of what I should do or just show me the path to some places where i can find specific answers i'd be glad..
System Info :
- Android 4.0.4
- Kernel 2.6.39.4-ge33a197
Hi there - at work we have a number of these Lenovo S6000 tablets. One of them has been returned to us with a weird error that keeps making it reboot at random times. Before I throw it out, I was going to have a go at wiping it and reflashing - just in case it is a software/OS error rather than hardware.
As I said, we have loads of these kicking around, so I've rooted a known good one using framaroot, made a Nandroid backup on an SD card using Online Nandroid Backup, but I can't restore it onto the target device (also rooted) as I don't have a custom recovery installed (neither TWRP or CWM are supported on the Lenovo S6000, apparently).
Is there a way to restore from the backup without going into recovery mode? Or, is there another custom recovery I can install that would support the S6000, does anyone know?
Many thanks in advance
So I have Samsung Tab A6, I rooted it, and removed some bloatware, but then something went wrong and the tablet became inoperable. Not a problem, I took my daughter's tablet, exactly the same model, flashed TWRP on it, created a backup and then went to restore it onto the non-functioning tablet.
The restore didn't go as smoothly as I hoped, TWRP wasn't seeing the backup files on the SD card. After some digging I found out that I have to change the directory name where the back up was. Did that, and then I was able to restore the backup. The problem is that the tablet's serial number abd the MAC address now were identical to my daughter's tablet. I downloaded the factory image from sammobile, and flashed that via ODIN, still the wrong serial number and MAC address persist. I've tried wiping completely via TWRP, reflashing factory image via ODIN, checking "Nand erase" and "EFS clear" boxes, no luck, the wrong MAC address is still there. Can anyone give me an idea on how I can wipe any remnants of what was flashed before to start out with a truly blank device and to flash a factory image onto it.
Thank you in advance

You would have to use a jtag for. That. This is why we tell people not to restore any backups from other devices. Nandroids are for the device they were made from only.

But isn't there any way to simply wipe it clean and flash the file that I downloaded from sammobile ???? I did a wipe from TWRP, but still the MAC address stayed the same. Can't I wipe the file where it is stored?

The issue is that the file that controls it is not touched by flashing. IT is in an untouchable partition (well under normal setup) You can flash what ever one you want it still wont touch that partition. This is why it is always advised to backup the EFS partition. Mainly on samsung devices as they are known for corrupting.
I just wanted to post a follow-up in case someone runs into similar problem.
I was able to solve the issue by running the commands
adb shell
su
echo -n "001122334455" > /persist/wifi/.macaddr
That solved the issue and created a new mac address.
Looking For SM-T280 EFS

I MAKE A BACKUP OR RESTORE BEC. MY PHONE NOW IS WITHOUT ANY OPERATING SYSTEM AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To get the phone working, you can flash a stock ROM from sammobile.com with Odin. Doing this may cause you to lose all of your data.
