Hey,
Just in case anyone wants automatic call recording on Kitkat roms, or misses this feature from G2 tweakbox which does not work on kitkat at the moment,
I found a perfect call recorder that records from "voice_call" audio source which gives high quality recording as if you are hearing the call in your ears

Enjoy,
EDIT:
BTW, did anyone find yet any xposed module that allow us to replace menu key by recents key on kitkat?

I'm writing an app part of whose functionality is to record audio through the microphone. The recording seems to stop as soon as the screen times out and the phone enters what I think is sleep mode. I've noticed that some apps(Tokasiki's Voice Recorder, for one) don't seem to have this problem on this phone(Motorola Atrix) and continue to record audio long after the screen has faded to black. I've tried using a partial wake lock but it doesn't seem to maintain the recording. Should I use AudioRecord instead of MediaRecorder? Voice Recorder seems to get by without using AudioRecord.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks in advance,
Raj
Never mind. I got it. Was just setting up the partial wake lock incorrectly.
Is anybody able to mod increasing ringtone together with call recorder? I'm personally finding the increasing ringtone much less stressful but this cannot go together with call recorder fuction that I like, as well.
Is this phone has built-in ability to calibrate and adjust a loud sound when recording a live video event and prevent to be distorted?
Does anyone can test or tested already?
Fix low earpiece volume during calls the easy way. Been looking for a fix and there was nothing, then I started flashing all sorts of sound mods and although they did improve the speakers for sound and music and speakerphone, the sound ftom the earpiece was still too low sometimes even in quiet room (during calls with people with bad microphones).
Finally a there was an easy fix, download an app from the play store called "Volume Controll". It will present you with more elaborate volume controls than the default built in sonys controls. Here just bump your in call volume to 80% and voila, you'll get louder in call earpiece volume without flashing media profiles xml or similar hack. You can also controll the loudnes while in call with volume keys.
Posted just because I found nothing about this and this is an essential smartphone function, almost exchanged my phone for an LG G3 cause of this single issue.

Here it is, I believe other similar apps can do this. When prompted to upgrade after trial is over just tap outside the dialog box and continur using as normal. I turned off all notifications to hide profile switcher.
Hello,
I have a MI phone with MIUI 11 and android 8.1
I want to hide the call recording button which appears once the call is going on.
I have set the call settings to record all calls automatically.
So, i dont want to see the call recording button on the screen during a call.
Sometimes the button is pressed by accident and then the call is not recorded.
So is there any way i can make this modification.
Phone is not rooted.
